This is an old motel that has been rehabbed quite nicely. The rooms are large and well appointed and very clean... The only downside is in connecting rooms there is only a door dividing you from the people next-door and sounds transfer very easily... Some type of acoustic deadening between adjoining rooms would be of help...

After looking on trip advisor and seeing the reviews/pictures we thought this would be a good place to stay whilst visiting family in Ocala... I can't fault the room it was up together, and we had a couple of things wrong with the room when we arrived, and they were fixed straight away... but... unfortunately during our stay there must have been some sort of dog show going on locally so there was lot of barking very early on every morning... We were given a room with an interconnecting door and the neighbours we had on our last night of the stay were so loud until early hours of the morning that we could hear every word they were saying...

Lots of people there for a kid’s baseball tournament & I talked to a few other moms & everyone said the same thing: This is an AMAZING hotel for the price!... I swear if I was in the hotel renovating business (it’s obviously a renovated budget hotel)I’d want to work with the owners…please make more of these hotels all over the state(I weekend trip a lot) I would stay at this hotel (or any these people run) every single time!...

Even though this is a renovated motel, everything has been put in great condition, to walk-in showers, new flooring, mini split heating/cooling. Everything appears clean and a comfortable mattress...

On a good side, there was plenty of restaurants near by, the shower worked great, the room seemed clean at check in, the bed was comfortable, the ac unit worked, the parking lot seemed safe, no wierd smells... So all in all I would probably stay again maybe another suite...

...The bed was super comfortable & the decor is super nice with a coffee maker, refrigerator, and a microwave inside the room. The lobby has a mini snack center, beer & wine tab for those that like to drink 😉 for a reasonable price... The breakfast was included with the room and it’s was very good 😊 I would recommend this hotel to everyone...

After looking on trip advisor and seeing the reviews/pictures we thought this would be a good place to stay whilst visiting family in Ocala. The location for us was good and the staff were lovely... Now I appreciate this isn't necessarily the hotels' fault regarding barking dogs and inconsiderate neighbours etc... but what is the hotels' fault is the state of the pool to the point my husband and son did not go in it (I don't swim)... On a positive note, the breakfast is ok, although all the plates, cutlery and cups are plastic/single use so not very eco-friendly, and the staff are very accommodating...

...Lots of outside work going on to improve property which interfered a bit with getting around pool but it was workable. Pool was very clean and glad it was still open and heated not all hotels keep pools open into October... A few more choices on wine bar would be nice...

...The Equus Inn seemed like a good fit. On the way in we noticed several restaurants and shopping centers nearby... Upon arrival, the check in staff were very pleasant and helpful... We found the room to be clean (no pet or other odors) and very tastefully renovated... The beds were very comfortable and bedding all fresh and new... Bath and dressing areas were well appointed too... There was also plenty of room to crate pets if needed... The mini split a/c was much quieter and more efficient than the usual hotel a/c units... Although there was a desk and chair, the room could have used an extra chair or a small, portable folding table and chairs... Actually, we didn't ask for them, so, the hotel may already provide them if requested, not sure...

...The room was very clean and well furnished. The breakfast was delicious with hot choices including waffles, cheese omlets , cheesy grits, bagels, etc... all the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant...
