They advertise free WiFi. Yes it's free. But it's useless. The signal was too weak. It's an easy and cheap upgrade for them but instead they chose to lie to their guests. The internet is our evening entertainment after a long day of driving. Shame on Radisson.
I know this hotel had mixed reviews but we were promised a remodeled room and have to stay in Ocala for a week so we booked it. For a week. Upon arrival, key cards would not open outdoor security doors. Parking lot is extremely small and packed. Parking stalls too narrow to fit a minivan. Ended up always having to walk all the way around to front entrance. Room was dirty, nasty and cold. We had booked a premium king “suite” but it was smaller than a Microtel. No hot water. No water pressure. Room had a weird smell. Toilet got clogged when using only three small pieces of toilet paper. Bathroom had mold around the tub and peeling paint. For a KING SUITE they supply a TOTAL of 3 pillows. Luckily we didn’t need to use the pullout sofa. Anyone who would have needed it would have no pillow or blankets. EXTREMELY SMALL, cramped, tiny room. Dust everywhere. Light bulbs not working. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. STAYED ONE NIGHT ONLY. We canceled the rest of our reservation and went elsewhere. HOPEFULLY they will be honest and refund the $1000 we put ON our card there. I can’t think of a worse hotel I’ve been to in YEARS.…
Nice rooms and clean indoor pool. Staff is always amazing. We stay here alot because we live here and enjoy rainy days here. The rooms are spacious. We always stay in a one bedroom suite and let the kiddos stay on the sofa so we have 2 tvs.
Maid staff walking around halls without masks. Some guests also not wearing masks and not being told to by staff. The entire place is worn and shabby looking. Only 1 bar of soap in bathroom so had to use it for sink and shower. Very difficult access and egress between parking lot and street. Not greeted upon checking in or made to feel welcome. Will never stay here again. Carpets look like a slum place.
Had a one night stay at this property with my wife on our way back home from Florida...Dec 4th 2020. Our experience was not good at all. The location of the hotel and the traffic patterns around it make access to the property somewhat difficult. When we arrived and checked it, the bathroom in our room did not have a shower curtain. We had to request one from the front desk. Our room was on the 3rd. floor and the only elevator in the building was extremely slow. Our room did not have an alarm clock which was unusual. We had a room with 2 queen beds which were old with the box-springs exposed (no skirts) and the mattresses were not very comfortable. The hotel WI-FI was very slow and as the Hotel checked-in more guests, it became non- functional. Finally, when we went to bed around 10:30-11:00 pm, the noise in the hall outside our room kept us awake past mid-night. The following morning we got up early around six, went downstairs for coffee and there was none. They told us..no breakfast until 7:00 am. I can understand keeping the breakfast room closed until 7:00 am...but not having the coffee containers available earlier for "early risers" just topped it off for us. We travel often and stay at Country Inn & Suites and normally enjoy their properties...but we will be crossing this one off our list.…
