Upon arrival the staff here are so warm and welcoming! We stayed in the Red Fish Cottage which was perfect. My husband laughs that I always find something to complain about but I couldn’t even if I tried! We had one small problem with our water heater which was immediately fixed, the maintenance man was there within an hour and assured us it would be fixed by the time we come for our next visit. The cabin is pretty simple but has everything you need, right down to the pots and pans. It was a decent size too, we have a baby and we’re able to set up his travel cot in the bedroom no problem. We even had room to set up his play pen in the living room with ease! I like that they lock the gates at 6pm so the kids could play freely and safely. Everyone was super friendly and everyone would smile and say hello! We kayaked down a little narrow water way and found a cute little island, where we could get out to fish. We ended up using my dads kayaks but the staff were willing to give us a deal on renting one as we rented the cottages from them. This was very nice of them. The dock is beautiful and even had some family friendly games that we could play with the kids while the boys were fishing. I didn’t bring my puppy as I wasn’t sure how pet friendly it would be here but now I’m sad I didn’t because it is very dog friendly! We had a very pleasant visit and would definitely go back to Indian Mound Fish Camp!

We spent five nights here and will definitely return when we are in the area. porpoise and abundant wildlife right in front of you at the waters edge. We were in site #29 and the water was literally 10’ away! They have an onsite fishing dock and “tiki deck”. Nearby New Smyrna Beach and Canaveral National Seashore are not to be missed.

Made a RV reservation #9001 for a weekend fishing get-a-way, what a mistake. The place is run by heartless, low class people. They never pick-up office phone and when you call the second number on the list you get a load mouth drunk tell you to f-off. Kelly the manager won't even call you back. We got ripped off $139.50... Stay A Way... Better Fish Camps Around... They laugh about my 83 year old mother having a heart attack. Shame On Them!!!

Wow, third time that you have left reviews for us and shown your anger at our park. We don't drink in the office, nor do we used profanity as any of our loyal customers will share with you. We are loving people that welcome everyone at our campground. We have a full campground, as customers typically return back and return year after year. We have one phone number for our park, and we are open 7 days a week from 6am-6pm to reach office personnel and have 24 hour access to make reservations to make it easy for our guests. If you look at our reviews, you see this is a one off. This is an angry customer that called the day of their arrival and wanted to cancel their stay and expected a full refund. We are a small family run campground and have policies in place to assure a great stay for everyone. We would never laugh at anyone, especially someone's health as we have empathy and care for everyone that stays with us. When asked if you wanted a call back - you cursed at our clerk and hung up on her. We don't ever want our valued employees that provide exceptional customer service to ever be treated with disrespect. I apologize that you don't understand that businesses have policies and would have worked with you if you were courteous. I hope your mother is doing well and wish you the best of luck wherever you choose to camp at next.

We picked our first run in our new trail trailer. And found paradise, I’m not kidding if you like to fish and a quiet place this is it. We are local from Lake County fla. I’m in love with Indian mound campground. Staff is so nice and goes above and beyond to make your stay relaxing. Everything you need to go fishing. If you have a boat to go along with your camper you are set. Live bait and all the tackle you need. Fishing on the pier was my favorite and along on the bank of our camp site. The campground was groomed and detailed and clean. The bath house was clean and has a code to get in what I love the best.we are coming back next time we are going to set up a charter captain to take us fishing. Kayak and canoe Are available what a wonderful view sitting out in the morning drinking coffee and watching the dolphins and Manatees popping out. I love this paradise and we will be back again. Thank you Kelly and the staff for you hospitality and a welcome to your campground. The Smith’s FISH ON ♥️
