How is this place still in business. They sell drugs right in front on the entrance. Employees could care less to even greet you. The smell of Marijuana as you pass the rooms. My room window was broken if anybody wanted to they could get in. It looked almost abandon so DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THIER PICTURES.There was barely light in the lobby to see but caution tape all around.
This was likely one of the most filthy, poorly maintained, disgusting hotels I have ever stayed in. Had this been a Flea Bag roach motel on the side of a highway in the middle of nowhere for $19.95 per night, I would understand, and not complain. But I paid Nearly $70 for one night, and it is in the middle of North Miami. Photos online must be from 25 years ago, because it looks NOTHING LIKE THIS NOW! The carpets were "sticky" had to wear shoes in the room and in the hallways. The sliding glass door on the external wall was screwed in place, but the genius who screwed the door in did not get it closed all the way before he screwed it in, so there was a gap in the closure on both sides of the door and every sound off the road, parking lot and area outside the lobby was heard perfectly in my room. (not to mention the heat and humidity leaking in thru those gaps) I got zero sleep. The air conditioner worked well, (Thank goodness) but it had a hard time keeping up with the constant flow of warm air coming in from the huge gaps in the sliding glass door, so it kicked on and off like 40 times per hour all night long. The lingering smell of Marijuana was pervasive throughout the entire property. At first I assumed I was just walking behind someone who had recently been partaking, but no, the entire property reeked of the smell. Towels were soft, sheets appeared clean, pillows sucked and were only about half the size of a normal pillow. Lobby was disgusting. "Included" free breakfast was totally not available (I presume due to the RonaVirus scare) But no alternative was offered, or even mentioned. The caution tape stretched all over the lobby to keep people out of the breakfast area made it look like a crime scene. The front desk attendants took FOREVER to check in each person (the line was out the door due to the whole 6 foot distancing thing) and once I was at the front of the line and it was my turn I realized why it took so long. None of them speak English past about a 1st grade level. So everything had to be repeated multiple times and it was a struggle to understand anything they said. Just totally gross. I could go on.…
Website says free coffee. No coffee in the hotel at all except at breakfast only. No nearby restaurants. Used Grubhub. Will never stay here again. Pool area closed. Staff slow and seemingly uncaring. That’s about it.
The rug was so filthy my socks turned black just from walking across the room. The bathroom was a cracked, dirty disaster. We were promised a quiet room but the lack of weather striping in the windows let in loud traffic noise. There were groups of suggestively dressed young women hanging around the parking lot just across from the entrance. I was worried for my safety all the time we were there -- thankfully just one night. Breakfast was free but meager. We only booked a room because the Super Bowl had caused all others to be filled.
Never ever will stay in this hotel ,it is over priced for the kind of service they provide ,dirty rooms and the bathroom seems that never was cleaned you can see the walls and the baseboards full of dust , the parking was to small we had to park in a lot across street where was 2019 ford ranger was scratched buy someone . besides that they charge $50 for security deposit. nice pictures probably were taken when it was new or clean. motels probably are better than this place.
