We selected this hotel because of its location. We wanted to explore South Beach and also go to the Miami open tennis tournament north on route 95. So we thought this would give us a location that would satisfy both of those experiences. It did. We did not expect such great views of the Bay, such excellent service or such an all-around positive experience. While indeed it is your basic hotel, appropriately retro in South Florida, with none of the bells and whistles of an upscale hotel, it was a very positive and enjoyable four days. The deck restaurant on the Bay is packed but the Hotel seems very attentive to the guests’ needs and makes sure the music ends by 9 PM. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the music but we were grateful when the time came for it to end. Thank you to all who made our mini vacation delightful. I only stay at BW when traveling and this hotel stay was disappointing. Although the front desk staff was welcoming and the room was clean, I was dis appointed in the layout of the hotel. I was placed in a building that has a parking lit under it and a public bar restaurant in close proximity to the elevator. Being a single woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe parking my car and making my way to the elevator and up to my room at night. The other disappointment was that this particular hotel did not offer the traditional free breakfast that is available at every other BW hotel I have stayed at. Instead, I was referred to the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel for a $13 breakfast buffet. A nominal fee, but I did not like the way the restaurant looked or smelled so I did not feel compelled to eat there. The coffee in the room was horrible, but you could get coffee in the lobby. I understand the East wind of the hotel is being renovated. My suggestion would be to request a room in that wing when it is finished. This way you would enter through the main lobby and are away from the shady parking lot. I did not use the pool area, but it looked nice, clean and inviting. The location of this hotel is very good. It is close to the beach and downtown area and the view of the bay area is very nice. There is a $15 fee to parking in the hotel dismal parking lot. …

We were lucky enough to get a bay view room which my daughter enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay. The pool area was large and clean. Very nice area, we did not get to use the pool as it was raining. Nice pizza restaurant down the street as well.

The staff was so nice! Front desk service amazing and Carla at the Suckers roof top was awesome! Gloria the manager has the best customer service ever! Great stay, incredible view. Beds were very clean and the rooms very comfortable, island vibes.

The breakfast was the best ! Also the breakfast lady was very kind and helpful, I loved my experience, the rooms were nice and clean as well. What I do think is that they should put someone in the pool area because the first time I arrived I went to the pool with my family and there was a couple that were very drunk and smoking weed and the lady was naked showing her boobs and the other gentleman was in boxers and he was showing everything. I had my 2 kids with me and to be that was unacceptable but everything else was good

Great waterfront location with active restaurant and bar. Small pool with great view but worn out lounge chairs. Our room was clean but not detailed, filthy tv remote, hair in tub, dirty ashtray on balcony, lots of little things. Terrible communication concerning late check out. For a $100 room they have charged $40 for a 1.5 hour late departure. I do not recommend and I will not return.

We come to this Hotel, every summer since 2016 , except Covid time. This is THE place to stay in Miami , very calm environment, very close to the beach 10 minutes by car , 30 minutes from the Airport. The pool is cool, training center, coffee machine 24/ hours at the desk , fresh beverages, .The team of the Hotel is very pleasant, listening to the customers. For sure we will be back . The pictures look nice, however, this is very misleading. The rooms are OK in terms of beds and cleanliness, however, the aircon was so old and noisy that I could not sleep till 3 am. The hotel itself is very old, dirty and outdated. The view from the balcony was nice BUT please don't be misled by the pictures - it is not direct access to the Miami beach - the balcony is just overviewing the ocean bay, not the beach itself! The breakfast was horrible - the coffee is weak, the eggs are cold, the bacon is overfired and tasteless, potatoes looked like they were unfrozen and cooked again... It is not a cheap hotel - $200 per night, so if you want to enjoy your stay in Miami - stay away from this place.

This location is all about the Bay Views which are stunning! The only rooms worthwhile in my opinion is to select the ones with the balcony and bay view. There is nothing like relaxing on the balcony and seeing the spectacular bay view early in the morning and stunning sunsets and sparkling lights reflecting on the water in the evening. Some people complain about the noise from Shuckers restaurant just below however the noise level was not that bad and did not bother us at all perhaps because it was off season. Overall rooms were clean and staff friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Only negative would be that the hotel could definitely use updating, if they did that, this location would be a goldmine.
