Perfect for a getaway discovering the center of France. The hosts are amazing, extremely welcoming and pleasant. The house is beautifully finished, the rooms huge and airy. Don't miss the breakfast on the terrace with the guests and owners for some home made jams, brioche, gateau au noisette and a lovely chat!! We had a great time and would go...

We stayed for 1 night on our way to the South of France, we had one of the top rooms, a loo with a view, a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom and we also booked the Dinner for €26 per person, which was 4 courses, plus wine and an appetitive and we had the company of the owners who...

We stayed with our family for one night on our way down to Sarlat from Paris and had a delightful stay. We stayed in the Suite Diane which was perfect for our family of four, clean and very tastefully decorated. The house is truly beautiful and the gardens are very pleasant. We stayed at Le Manoir du Menoux for one night on our way down south and had a fantastic time. The house and grounds are beautiful and the room was more than big enough and very clean and comfortable. We elected to have dinner which is a good option as we didn't notice any restaurants too close by and the...

My husband and I spent a wonderful overnight at Le Manoir du Menoux. Our hosts Marie Estelle and Philippe provided an excellent evening meal and a lovely French style breakfast. Marie is a fantastic cook and her home made walnut wine is delicious. We really enjoyed their company and chatted for ages over dinner. Le Manoir du Menoux is not...

We stopped here for a night on our way back from the south and were delighted that we had made such a good choice. This is a superb 1920s house , beautifully maintained and set in a lovely village which is well worthy of exploration , particularly the church with its amazing painted walls and ceilings. Our hosts are a very...

We chose this interesting Chambre de Hote as it appeared to be far enough from autoroutes to be in nice countryside whilst being accessible after a long drive from the Luberon. It turned out to be a perfect choice. A beautiful house, or rather Manor House - with lovely grounds, secure parking and a very comfortable room with en suite...

We stopped here overnight on our way south with two teenage children. We had booked the Diane suite which is just lovely. Very spacious and immaculate with a huge bathroom shared with the twin room on our own little corridor. The house is set in a huge garden where we had the most delicious home cooked dinner en famille. We...

Marie-Estelle greeted us and, after a brief chat, we were shown to our en suite bedroom. It was well appointed and immaculately clean - five star hotel standards. As we were going out for an early evening explore, M-E told us exactly where we should visit giving a lot of detail and history relating to the places. You must visit...

We cannot recommend Le Manoir Du Menoux highly enough. The Diane Suite far exceeded our expectations, being large, spotless, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Marie-Estelle has ensured that necessities such as hairdryer, tissues, etc. are available, which we have found unavailable in higher rated hotels. When travelling for an extended period, these touches make travelling effortless. My husband and I...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in the 20s “Le Manoir du Menoux” is a large house -style Anglo-Norman completely renovated in 2009 respecting its original features.A one hectare park with old trees surrounds the property. The Manor proposes individually decorated rooms all with oak floor and private bathroom. It is in a protected environment that we welcome you for a relaxing weekend or holidays in the countryside. You will come to destress, practice hiking trails on foot, horseback or bicycle from the village and if you like, chat over a meal at the family table. The region is full of activities and places to visit. You will be fascinated by the valley of the Creuse and its rocky hills and by the artists, whether painters, poets, sculptors and blacksmiths art. ... more   less
