Although we were staying in on of the older rooms yet to be renovated we still enjoyed ourselves very much. The apartment had everything we needed. The property has been nicely updated. It's quite lovely and lush. The pool area is very nice as are all of the common areas. Although we only used it once, having an outdoor grill to use was an nice amenity. The beautiful beach is just a short walk across the street and we were given nice beach chairs and an umbrella to use. Casey Key itself is a quiet place to be but close to everything you need. The staff were all pleasant and eager to help us in any way. If you check Escape to Casey Key (soon to be the new name) you can see photos of the newly renovated property and rooms. We would definitely recommend this motel!

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful days here. Super place, super friendly staff, excellent location with a one minute walk to the beach. Very reasonable rate for a good sized, self contained studio with a nice view of the marina from the oversized deck. Looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend!

These rooms are disgusting and dirty not to mention there are no lights as you try to navigate your way to your room through the dark alleyway like dilapidated buildings. We arrived late and it took 30 mins to find our room. We walked in and were immediately flabbergasted at the atrocious room we were supposed to be staying in. I didn’t even want to set my belongings down let alone sit on anything myself. I went to put the sheets on the pull out sofa and was once again disgusted by the blanket that looked like it was as old as the property and completely covered in long black hair and I’m not just talking about one or two. That was the icing on the cake. I called and asked if we could change rooms. When the woman arrived she was beyond rude and condescending. She did upgrade our room to a newly renovated room but told we were only allowed to sleep in one bed because our other room only had one bed, as I stated earlier our original room had a pull out which I was going to sleep on and my mother in the bed. Then proceeded to slam the door to the other bedroom. I apologized and thanked her. She stomped out of the room and made some very rude comments under her breath thinking I didn’t hear her. The next morning I brought the keys to the front office and asked for a printout of my charges and told her I appreciated her coming in and allowing us to change rooms but also told her I didn’t appreciate the way we were treated and disrespected or the comments she had made under her breath and as a business owner myself I could never even imagine treating a guest the way we were treated. She then became combative and confrontational as she pointed in my face. I looked down at my receipt and there was a $50.00 cleaning fee added(we never even touched anything in our original room)When I asked her what it was for she said “I can do and add whatever I want.” Never have I ever been spoken to the way she spoke to me. Then raised her voice and said “PEOPLE LIKE YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY!” And forcefully escorted me out the door. I am still in shock that someone could treat a paying guest in the manner I was treated especially in front of my 60 year old mother. I warn you DO NOT stay here!

We needed a room for the night ,of course it was high season not much available for a reasonable rate. The location is great right on a beautiful canal across the road from the beach. Room 109 was clean but could use updates, but for the price it was fine for the night. Pic of dolphin is a short walk
