I've been staying at the Night Swan for 5 years now and it's only gotten better. New(er) owners David and Nathalie Glenn updated the decor to a hip surf bungalow style, but still with the historic charm of New Smyrna Beach, complete with gorgeous original architecture (including the huge front porch with swings and chairs for taking in the water views!). The rooms are comfortable, roomy enough for a few night's stay and you always feel at home to put your leftovers in the fridge when you get back from dinner. Breakfast is a treat (and they will accommodate vegetarian preferences if you request). Blueberry lemon scones with a decadent glaze, quiche, coffee, juice, yogurt and granola - all served by the couple's polite and friendly sons. The Glenns created a warm and friendly family atmosphere, where they remember you and welcome you with big smiles - and it truly enhances my stay every time.

This was my husband and my second time staying here in the last month and a half and we love it more each time we go. The location cannot be beat. Its in a quiet neighborhood facing the intercostal waterway. We love to paddleboard and the dock and floating dock are perfect for this as well as relaxing on in the afternoons and evenings as the boats go by. And the dolphins and turtles! The actual inn and rooms are so comfortable and immaculate! Everything you could want is at your fingertips...waters, coffee, ice cream, and a delicious breakfast each morning. The thing that puts Night Swan at the very top for us is the gracious and welcoming family that owns and runs it. David and Nathalie and their sons are wonderful and genuinely nice people. They feel like old friends each time we visit. Don't hesitate to stay here. It's a gem!

If you're looking for a safe and beautiful place to stay for a getaway, the Night Swan is fantastic. At the last minute, my daughter and I decided to go out of town to celebrate the anniversary of a family event that we've observed for 17 years. I hadn't wanted to stay in a hotel because I was worried about covid, and my husband is a transplant recipient with a supressed immune system. Even though he wouldn't be with us, we didn't want to bring any illness home. Then I remembered The Night Swan, a B&B in New Smyrna Beach where I stayed years ago. I called to see about their covid precautions. The new owners, David & Nathalie Glenn, made me feel very comfortable with their standards, and upgraded us to a room that had a bistro table so we could eat in our room if we felt unsafe elsewhere. They masked up and even offered to deliver our breakfast so we could minimize contact with anyone on property. My daughter is pescatarian, and I'm GF, and they were completely cool with accommodating our food needs. They never once made us feel inconvenient. Our room had an enclosed, wrap-around porch that overlooks the river. We were a 5 minute drive from the beach, where it was easy to keep a 20-foot minimum distance from anyone else. We ended up eating in the main house because we had the space to ourselves, but the restaurant where we'd hoped to have dinner had packed their outdoor seating, so we were glad to order takeout and bring our dinners back to our room. The Glenns have done a lot to freshen up the space - the photos on the website don't include several of the new touches including artwork, window treatments, furniture, etc. It all looks fresh and beautiful without being froufy and crowded like some B&Bs. If you're looking for a safe place to get away, I highly recommend The Night Swan. They have several rooms with private entry so you don't have to share interior space with other guests, and you couldn't find more lovely, welcoming people than the Glenns. They're also pet-friendly and have wheelchair-accessible rooms and common spaces. We'll be back - we've already made reservations for next year.

Not only was the Night Swan beautifully done, clean, charming and in a great location, the hosts, David and Natalie were incredible ! The whole staff (including their kids) made you feel very much at home, without being intrusive. I stayed 3 nights and felt like I didn't want to leave! In these uncertain times, it was a haven of friendliness and comfort! The location is beautiful with boat docks for those traveling by sea and amazing breakfasts. I don't think I've eaten as much or as well in years! Would highly recommend this !!!
