The RV park is clean and well maintained. The sites are level, easy to pull into (class C motor coach) and include full hook ups. There are two bath houses with showers sinks and commodes and 24-hour onsite laundry.

The staff were all very friendly and especially helpful. The pool and grounds are clean and well maintained. There is a pier with a large covered deck at the end to sit and enjoy the breeze, but no stairs or ladder to access the water from.

The beach front is a good quiet place to sit and read a book or unwind but is on the inter coastal so there isn’t any surf or wave action. The beach is a safe clean place for younger kids to play, but older kids and teens are likely to get bored pretty quickly.

Clearly the park is pet friendly as many of the guests had their pooches along for their trips. It was veritable dog parade in both the mornings and evenings.

If you’re an RVer I think this is a great place to park your rig and unwind for a few days or weeks. If you’re looking for family entertainment it might be a little quiet.

Hello TangledWeb_unwoven, Thank you so much for taking time to write a review for us! We love to see how guest like or dislike certain things within our park, so we can improve. I will admit, things have been a little quiet as far as family activities in the park, we are working on getting this corrected for our next spring/summer season so hopefully, you'll give us another try next summer so we can improve on that. With Covid and short staffing, it has just been out of our reach for this season. However, we are so happy you and your family enjoyed your stay and pray you made it home safely. Please reach out to us if you have any questions in the future. We are always here to help! Safe travels, Courtney

For an RV park and close to the beach then it’s pretty decent. Pricing is ok for 2 people. But they kind of include BS charges if you bring more then 2 people and additional vehicle to travel with. They have a lot of rules so just read the info. Small sites but relatively clean. They do penny pinch you on fees but they need more attention to detail to justify the extra fees. Light bulbs are burned out at many sites so bring your own lighting. If they had worked then would have been a nice touch and useful. Showers could use a better cleaning. Some trash on floors and bandaids stuck to walls 🤢 but there is hot water. I think the guys there do as best as they can and work hard. Their beach is a bit dirty and small but ok if you don’t mind the seaweed. I’d recommend a short drive over to the public beach across the bridge. We’d probably stay there again but would make a few adjustments.

We stayed for one night at Emerald Beach RV Park as we were headed further into Florida. What a great place! The ladies in the office are the true gems of this place. They are so very kind and always helpful. The park sits along the beach and the sites are easy to get into and out of. They have a pool and all of the hookups for tour RV. We were so pleased we made reservations for the trip home.

We stayed at Emerald Beach for the month of December during Covid. The campground is located on the Santa Rosa Sound, East of Pensacola and West of Fort Walton Beach. It is right along Route 98, which means there is significant road noise at all hours! You do learn to tune it out. There are grocery stores, a Walmart and other shopping nearby. It’s a short drive to Pensacola where you will find any and all shopping you might need as well as wonderful beaches and sights. Pensacola Beach has some fabulous restaurants.

The campground has its own small beach area (on the Sound), with permanent umbrellas. There is also a nice little fenced dog area near the beach. There are a few campsites which have a small deck that overlooks the beach and the Sound-these are tough to get! The long walkway over the water leading out to their own gazebo on the Sound had been destroyed by a hurricane in the fall so was not usable. The water is fairly shallow off the beach, and good for swimming. We did not use the bathrooms at all so cannot comment on their upkeep.

The grounds are well maintained. The campsites are tightly spaced and unless you have an end sight near the beach you will only see the water if you walk out into the road. There are no walking trails so we just walked up and down the rows daily. We stayed here to be close to family for the holidays but can’t say that we would stay here again due to the tight spaces. The staff are friendly however we asked from day one not to have to move sites for the last week of our stay – while they said they would try to make that happen I don’t believe they really did. The sites along the fence on the west side of the park are VERY tight and there is little room for the tow vehicle. The seating area for these sites is at the back of the space and feels VERY closed in… avoid them if possible!

Hi there JoeBethBark B, Thank you so much for reviewing our park. We are sorry it wasn't as wonderful as we would have liked. The sites on the west side of the park are made for smaller rigs, this way it will save on room. However, compared to a state park, for example, our sites are close together generally. Also, whenever a guest asks to stay with us longer, we do our very best to try and find something for that extra time. However, these things don't always happen. Especially during our busy seasons. Regardless, we hope you do enjoy your travels in the future and if you are around another time, we would love for you to give us another shot! Thank you! Courtney

This was our first time staying here and it was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The other campers staying here were also very friendly. We brought our little dog with us and she had great fun on the beach. The pier that lets you walk out into the Sound was so amazing and beautiful. The only downside was the slow internet wifi sometimes but it worked a lot of the time with no problem. We will definitely come back again soon.

This campground is located right on the water (Santa Rosa Sound), East of Pensacola and West of Fort Walton Beach. It is conveniently right off the side of Route 98, but the traffic noise wasn’t bad. There is a lot of shopping in the area, including fast food and restaurants. The National Seashore is a reasonably short drive away.

The campground has its own beach area (on the Sound), with permanent umbrellas. There are a limited number of campsites which have a small deck that overlooks the beach and the Sound. They have a long walkway over the water leading out to their own gazebo on the Sound, which gives great views of the Sound and the area. The water is fairly shallow off the beach, and good for swimming. They have kayak and sailboat rentals available to campers. They have a game room and food area near the beach. The pool is adjacent to the office. The staff was nice.

The grounds are well maintained. The campsites have a reasonable space between them, and they are all just a short walk from the beach. We really liked this campground. I would certainly stay there again if we get into this area.

This was our second time staying here. Last year we were in site #13 and this year we had beachfront site #69. The beachfront sites are so nice! We loved having the deck overlooking the bay. Even when it was raining, we had a beautiful view. Our girls love the water here because they can walk out 100 feet since it is so shallow! You must book early to get a beachfront site, but totally worth it.

Was just booked for three nights, barely got there in a fairly new class A with brakes overheating… they were very helpful, providing names of mobile repair and understanding when I had to take RV to a Freightliner Service center. (Cannot find the part, had to dock the coach and drive home in the toad… Still searching for a repair part). Wonderful people… They went above and beyond !

Stayed at Emerald Beach for 2 weeks starting the beginning of February, we throughly enjoyed our stay here.
I don’t think there is a bad site in this park, we were fortunate enough to have a drive thru, site #33.
The grounds and the facilities are spotless, staff is amazing and can’t do enough for u.
The pier and the beach area is a great plus and we would have enjoyed them more if the weather had been slightly more positive.
The only negative we found was the inconsistency in the wifi and I know like the majority of other parks they are working on it.
The park is in a great location , close to stores and attractions.
We definitely will return in the future

Our family has been coming to Navarre Beach since the 1980’s. We typically stay at another RV Park in the area, but this time we decided to try something new, and boy are we glad we did! The white sand beach, the tiki sitting area, covered picnic area, pier with covered sitting area, the indoor dining area, and the kayak and paddle board rentals are the amenities that make this campground such a special place. Perfect for families. Customer service was great and the prices were very reasonable. Gorgeous views. They do have a swimming pool, though we didn’t use it. Restrooms and showers were immaculate as were the grounds. Wonderful place to stay!

The ONLY reason for the “Very Good” rating rather than an “Excellent” was because it lacks security in the form of a gate. While the area is very safe, it would feel more secure if there was a gated entrance for campers and their guests. Please note that we had no safety or privacy issues during our stay. Bathrooms are secure as they have entrance codes, however walking to the restroom at 3am would have felt better if there was a front gate as well. Overall, a great choice for families looking to unwind at a relaxing campground.

The Emerald Beach RV Park is on the sound and has a kayak launch and a nice beach. The Sound is nice for a calm swim. Navarre Beach is a short drive from the campground, and is beautiful. We enjoyed Scooters,The Shrimp Basket, and Broussards at the beach. There is a fantastic air museum near the Naval Base in Pensacola that is well worth the drive, and it's free. If you go to Pensacola, eat at Captain Joey Patti's restaurant. The food is really good, and the décor will take you back in time :)' For shopping, there is a cute boutique called "The Turtle's Nest" that has some nice items. Enjoy your trip!
