My husband and I had the opportunity to visit this property two years ago on our anniversary. We had such a wonderful experience that I even took the time to write a five star positive review about the resort on TripAdvisor. Knowing how much we enjoyed the property, I decided to return to the Ritz Carlton in Naples and this time brought my three teenage daughters with me too. We were all very much looking forward to our family vacation, especially since we weren’t able to travel in a long time due to COVID-19. I had two rooms booked with one having access to the Club Lounge. Upon checking in, I was asked if I wanted to pay to upgrade my daughters’ room for an additional $300/night so that they can also have access to the lounge. I turned down the offer, as I wasn’t sure how much the lounge changed due to the pandemic and wanted to check it out first. After checking in, we took a quick peek at the lounge as a family and I immediately noticed many things negatively changed due to the pandemic. There were a lot less food choices and everything had to be served by a club attendant. Knowing it wasn’t worth upgrading my daughters’ room and since both my husband and I both don’t drink alcohol and weren’t interested in visiting the lounge during our stay, we allowed our daughters to use our club access instead. Furthermore, we also purchased a resort credit package and the two of us decided to eat and dine at the resort restaurants so we didn’t have to go to the lounge. Later that evening when my daughters went to the lounge on their own, they were approached by and humiliated by not one, but three female employees who began to publicly question them for being there. Keep in mind that guests need to have a key to access the lounge and not anyone can just enter. Furthermore, my husband and I did not visit the lounge throughout the day. After learning about this incident, I was beyond upset, especially after seeing my daughters in tears. They truly felt like they were being interrogated as if they were committing some sort of crime. As minors, they tried to manage the situation on their own and ended up leaving the lounge feeling so hurt and embarrassed. I later called the front desk to inform the hotel that my daughters should not have been confronted and questioned in public by three adult women. Instead, the hotel could have called me or my husband to ask questions about the reservation, especially since both of the rooms were in my name. I also emailed the hotel to share information about this incident and mentioned that this situation could have easily been avoided if the employees were better trained on how to treat the hotel guests with kindness and respect. No one should ever feel humiliated the way my daughters felt. More importantly, the staff should never confront and question minors without the presence of their parents. The next day, I received a phone call from the hotel and talked to Kristen Anderson (Assistant Rooms Executive). She was kind enough to listen to my concerns and offered to add my daughters to our reservation so that all of us would have access to the lounge. Although this was a very kind gesture, my daughters refused to step foot in the lounge again because of the way they were treated. Furthermore, they were so intimidated by the three adult women that they didn't want to see them again. This incident really left a bad taste in my mouth about the Naples Ritz Carlton and ended up making our vacation an unpleasant one. I really hope that no family ever goes through what my family experienced. Being treated like a second class citizen is not what someone would expect after paying thousands of dollars. This definitely turned into an unforgettable vacation but for all the wrong reasons.

The service is spectacular. The grounds are meticulously maintained. Twice we've enjoyed the spa. Excellent therapists. The adult pool area is great, and your every request is met with a smile. Food and beverages are provided directly to your lounge chairs. Beds are comfortable, too. We had the opportunity to enjoy a few of the onsite restaurants and bars. Top notch food as well. The prices aren't for the faint of wallet, so keep that in mind. It's expected...you are in Naples and it's the Ritz! Enjoy!

Just checked out of Ritz Carlton Naples after 5 night stay. This is somewhat dated property but the men and women who work there make up for it. I agree with the previous reviewer that front desk staff need a little more personability training compared to the rest of the staff such as valet, beach and pool attendants and restaurant staff. I booked a gulfront suite with spectacular view. It was a little tight with my 2 adult children but additional half bath made it convenient. We relaxed so well until Friday afternoon when hordes of families checked in and made us nervous. It was not as bad on Saturday but if you would like to avoid crowd, I highly recommend weekday stay. We experienced spa and again the facilities are dated but the staff made up for it. Tennis and watersports were nicely run. We had one dinner at Dusk and one lunch at Gumbo Limbo and were very disappointed. Naples is full of great restaurants and I suggest venturing outside the property to eat. There's a CVS mall right outside the hotel, and Namba Ramen had surprisingly great sushi. Overall, I would not hesitate to come back.

Loved my stay at The Ritz- beautiful room, wonderful hospitality, perfect sunset- all as expected. But it was my tennis experience that was such a great bonus and made my trip! Julie the Tennis Director couldn't have been more fun, informative and encouraging. I thought I would get a run of the mill lesson- she made it not only a great workout, but I learned a lot and laughed just as much! I left the lesson thinking about when I can plan another trip back to The Ritz and another tennis lesson with Julie! Also- they are remodeling the tennis shop- so when I come back I can shop all the latest fashions as well!

Wonderful hotel, great location and impeccable hospitality throughout from all of the staff. The hotel like all businesses, is limited with restaurants/shops closed outside of the weekends, or limited hours - they do have a few options that remain open but its not the full experience of the hotels potential.
