This is our second visit to lake San Marino RV Park. I was surprised to read a few unfair reviews. We choose a premium site so that we would have the concrete site. Otherwise you're going to just a get a grass site with a small concrete patio. I actually think the lots are very fair for width. Ours has some decent landscaping. These are deep lots. Plenty of room to park our 32 foot 5th wheel and then our truck with plenty of room to spare. Amenities are very acceptable. 2 pickleball courts. People seem quite friendly. Roads are NARROW. We got into our site without issue. I think people would move to accommodate if necessary. Shopping and Beach very closeby. A couple things i might mention that people might not like.... There is a concrete plant behind the park. You can definitely hear trucks going on and out all day. It's not obnoxious but it's noticable. The plant seems to run 24 hours a day. Our site this year seems much quieter than last year. Second is the traffic on 41. Intersection of Wiggins Pass and 41 is a busy one. That aside.... SW Florida is paradise for us northerners in the Winter. I recommend Lake San Marino.…
I just can’t say enough regarding the Customer service I received from Nina and Deann. My stay has been from August to December with a couple of hiccups in between but everything was dealt with fast and efficient with these two amazing employees! They have made my stay stress free as we wait for our home to be ready they have made us feel at home at Sun RV resorts. Only the best! I will recommend this resorts to my family and friends!
Great park and amenities! Everything is well kept and the residents and employees are super friendly. It's close to everything...beaches...shopping...gteat restaurants...golf courses and more! We'll be back again!
Don’t let their pictures fool you!!! The beautiful concrete sites are NOT for transient campers. If you have a camper longer than 18 feet DO NOT come here. We have a 25 foot travel trailer and had to ask people to move their cars to allow us the room to make the corners and back it in. Even with that we couldn’t get it squared up. The sewer hookups are about 8-10 inches above the ground and in our case our outlet is lower than their connection. That’s never good. The roads are so narrow 2 vehicles cannot pass each other without driving on to someone’s grass. It’s a senior community and the residents are nice but it is NOT a campground. It’s like a sardine can. Our slideout is only 8-10 feet from our neighbors While having breakfast outside, the maintenance staff ran lawn mowers within 4-5 feet of where we were sitting at our picnic table. Later the same crew came by with leaf blowers, again 5-6 feet away. We had to wave them off. There must be a better place somewhere in the Naples area.…
We checked in on Jan 1, the beginning of the busy season. Our 40' RV was directed to an organized group of volunteer residents who were happy to check us in and help us back into our site. They encouraged us to set up first then visit the office to settle our bill the next day. The staff was just as helpful and accommodating. The sites are huge, the people are friendly, and it is close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely look at booking for next year!
I had the chance to stay in Naples for 3 months and i stayed the whole time in a great cottage at Lake San Marino Resort, and it was an awesome place to stay, very close to everything. Thanks Carolyn and Michelle, for an awesome host. Loved to see very frequently the 2 swam in the property :)
Just got back from another trip to Lake San Marino in Naples, I would have to say this was a disappointing stay. Let me say before I start, I booked this trip more than a month in advance, upon my arrival I was told I had no dishwasher and maintenance would come in the morning to hook up. I do not want to start my vacation with a maintenance call! The night moves on and I realize the air is not getting below 76, if you have been to Naples you know the heat I would be dealing with. I advised my contact in the morning, at that time the thermostat was adjusted and we were waiting to see if it would resolve the issue. The next day, I was in the 80's inside my trailer, my husband has had a heart attack and has many health issues that keep him from being in the heat and I advised all of that fact. The maintenance men came and said they needed to call a company to come out which they did and was told they would be there around 5:30. Didn't show till 7:00pm if they even did! We had prior dinner arrangements so we were not there, was told via text we would be relocated for the night upon our arrival back from dinner. I truly feel Michelle the office rep should have made that decision earlier in the day as now we had to move in the night. Also Michelle was highly unprofessional I would have to say, her attitude was not that of someone whom works in a customer service based industry. The next day we were told the air conditioner was frozen and we would have to stay another night in the secondary unit. In addition to all of this, upon arrival I felt like the unit (63) was dirty and could have been more prepared for any guest. When we were moved to the other unit, it was in great condition but would be rented on Friday so we could not move to that unit, had to go back to the jacked unit. Also, their cable package is HORRIBLE, I cannot remember but do not remember not being able to watch cable. This time, for anything like Food Network, MTV, etc, didn't have. You raise your fee's and lowered your standards! Not happy this trip at all!.…
Great RV park in a wonderful location near shopping and restaurants! RV Sites are huge - so easy to get into. Streets are wide and well maintained. Lots of amenities offered including bocce, pickleball, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Swimming pool is beautiful and overlooks the lake. Small fitness center but offers nicely maintained machines. Would recommend a stay!
Carolyn and Michelle are the best! Not my first time here and ill be back again! They are super accommodating and the cottages are modern and comfortable. The location is great and neighbors are nice. Highly recommended!
Lake San Marino has been a wonderful place to call home while we relocated to Naples. When we first moved in Tony was amazing. Since then we have also met Michelle and Carolyn who are awesome. The grounds are kept beautifully. The pool is always clean and the public restrooms are spotless with great showers. I can't say enough positive things about Lake San Marino. We will miss our home here, but we will be back to visit again!
