Very good hotel. Solid 4.5 Stars. Amy greeted us at reception Sunday Aug 7th just before midnight. She was thorough and gracious. She clearly loves her job; she was fantastic. Great door staff who took wonderful care of my breakfast guests the next morning when they arrived. All else was fine. Water pressure in shower sub par but that is almost the norm here days.
A great 5-night stay with family at The Ritz Golf resort here in Naples. Valets, front desk, housekeeping and pool side service were all top notch. I have nothing remotely critical to stay about this hotel. However, we did take the shuttle over to the Ritz Carlton Beach resort for the day.. just 4 miles away. Both hotels share amenities to a certain extent and encourage guests to travel back and forth to patronize the restaurants etc. Let me say this. As of this writing, the beach front resort is an absolute disaster. How they can offer rooms for 1200$+ a night at this time is disgraceful. It looks like a war zone with all of the construction going on. The one remaining pool is surrounded by a construction fence. They charged me 26$ per umbrella on the beach …saying that pool umbrellas were free but beach umbrellas were not. The beachfront offerings were flimsy and sparse. Bottom line, the beach front hotel should have remained closed during its extensive renovation. There is no arguing this point. If you’ve been ..you know. I encourage all RC travelers coming to the area to stay at The Golf resort until the beach front construction is over. Far better for far less.…
Beautiful golf resort. The staff is what makes the resort, they are very attentive and personable. Room was comfortable and had a nice balcony. We enjoyed the food at the pool. Pool area seemed small for size of resort but the lazy river was relaxing and not crowded. The 'water park' area seemed to keep kids happy. Would definitely return!
Except for one area- which will be discussed, this is a great place. We look forward to returning. All the staff..from valet on up is warm, welcoming, and helpful. The food is delicious and servers..esp. Floyd and Cece were great. The lazy river and the tube slides are guaranteed to give hours of fun. Having someone set up our lounges and umbrellas was the best. There is also so much to do at the beach. The loss of one star is attributable to the housekeeping staff. The first day we left our room early..and when we returned at 2:30 the room still had not been made up. We called housekeeping and it was eventually made up. Well the next day…the same thing. Had to call again.. one would think that after the first day, this would not have happened a second time. At a resort like the Ritz this should not happen. Then when my husband went to make himself a cup of coffee..there was a human hair in the coffee cup. ,…
We had originally booked at the beach resort, but we switched over the the golf when we found out how extensive the construction at the beach property was. So glad we did! The staff at the golf were so friendly and accommodating. The chairs at the pool area are very comfortable, and, although there were way more kids than I was expecting, there seemed to be space for everyone. We did have one issue with a crying baby from 4-8am one night in an adjoining room, but we were quickly moved the next day (and we were sent some champagne to the new room--not necessary, but very appreciated!). The shuttle to the beach resort is a very nice feature, and we were able to spend much of our time on the beach despite staying inland. A really great time at a golf resort for two people who don't golf!…
My review will only be based on the staff, the hotel is average in my opinion with beautiful views but average. The staff that made everything worth it to me where as fallow: Mio, Mike, Viviana, Natasha, Alan. These individuals embrace and take pride on doing what they do. My stay would of just been another stay if not for those amazing individuals. I enjoyed my time and will come back but for those experiences that I created thanks to them.
We have been to this resort, along with their beachside property, multiple times. This past 4 of July- being the best trip yet. Honestly the service is perfection. They had so many fun activities for the kids this weekend. It is so nice to come back and be remembered by name every time. Special shout out to the incredible pool staff- Chris and Ericka who are always so incredibly accommodating and helpful. Also Bibi and Lydia with recreation were AMAZING! They remembered my daughter's name each time they saw her and made her feel so special. Front office also excellent, accommodating and helpful. Cant wait to return to our home away from home!
Loud bar with drunk men screaming at blasting tv in front lobby. Rude front desk staff. Not accommodating. No longer felt like Ritz Carlton experience. Waste of money . Our room had a view of dirty parking lot for 700 plus per night. Food terrible and so was room service. Will not be going back.
This was the 5th time we stayed at the Ritz Golf resort in the last year or so and again it was a very nice stay . Pool and food were great. Service was top notch as usual. The hotel is beautiful and such a relaxing place. Best to get to the pool early in morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowd and kids. We love to eat outside overlooking the golf course. Went to Ritz Sarasota for 3 night after we left Naples and besides there exclusive beach club which was very enjoyable, Naples golf was nicer.
We had a great time at this resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thank you to Tracy at the reception. She was wonderful and very helpful. Also, special thank you to Luz at the club. She was very attentive and made sure everyone at the club was taken care of.
