I’m not sure why this is not rated higher than #20 on Trip Advisor. It is a beautiful 11 room boutique hotel. The grounds are magnificent. Our RM 35 was a suite, and really lovely. The little terrace that led out to the pool area was unique. So quiet.... The staff here goes above and beyond!( especially Johnny) The front desk staff was warm and friendly. We ate at the Veranda E on a Saturday evening and I would say it was probably one of the top five meals I have ever had. The sea bass and grouper were delicious! We will definitely return to the Escalante in the future and will recommend to family and friends. Congratulations on a job well done all around!

Loved our stay at the Escalante. Very small, quaint, and beautiful surroundings. Three steps out your patio door and you are at the pool. Golf cart takes you to the beach and will even deliver food and drinks. The restaurant was top notch! Perfect get away without large crowds!!!

Just lovely. Hard to put into words how beautiful this hotel is. Very nice staff. I've stayed here for years. Felt very safe here during covid times because the hotel is so small and no elevators or crowds. Two blocks from the beach.

Met friends for dinner at Veranda E at Hotel Escalante. Fabulous all the way. From being greeted by Jim as I entered, who helped me find my way, to the excellent service and amazing food. This place is not to be missed!

There is nothing about this boutique hotel that is not 5*. The 1-bedroom suite we stayed in was impeccable with its own private patio, where we asked to have breakfast served each morning (you can also have it in the outdoor restaurant (it is a continental breakfast). A beautifully maintained landscaping around the pool & jacuzzi makes you feel like you are in a botanical garden. The staff and service was what made this stay remarkable. Each staff member was professional, courteous and ready to help. The on-site restaurant Veranda is an exclusive and elegant dining experience. Our favorite dish was Kung Pao seafood - the freshest tasting seafood and somewhat sweet & sour and a bit spicy sauce, probably the best seafood dish I've ever had. Chef Marco made our last evening very special by presenting a banana flambe - what a skill! Overall, from the front desk to concierge services, every staff member made us feel at home with a sincere, welcoming approach throughout our stay. Bravo Escalante.
