We don't stay at the hotel, but went for early dinner: Fine dining, great atmosphere with seating around the pool, kind of a Toscany feel, and best service we've experienced in Naples. The preset menu was good value for the quality of the food, with even a very good creative Asian inspired Vegan option.

Amazing romantic getaway. Just what we needed. Marco was on the spot with tending to our needs and wants. We needed the relaxing down time and they made it happen. Place is tucked away from the rest of the world but you can still travel out to enjoy the downtown Naples life. Can't wait to go again. We will definitely be returning.

Room was noisy due to a loud humming. TV limited to few Roku channels which seemed odd given the room was not cheap. Shower was great. However great location a few feet from 5th Avenue South with great restaurants.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is very helpful for us to learn about any situations that may disturb the tranquility of our peaceful setting, that we strive so hard to protect. I'm wondering if we were made aware of the situation during your trip as our engineering department could have checked on the noise origination. We have recently upgraded our televisions. For your comfort our bungalow televisions are now equipped with a wide variety of popular streaming apps like Roku, Direct TV Streaming, and many more. Cable TV is also available. We are glad that you enjoyed our location in the heart of downtown Naples, at the cross roads of Fifth Avenue & Third Street South. It is nice to have all of the: shops, galleries, and restaurants within walking distance. Please come back and stay with us again and indulge yourself in the luxury and timeless class of Naples, Florida. With Gratitude, Ana M. Florescu General Manager at The Escalante

Stunning hotel in a central location in Naples Florida but felt like we were in Italy. This hotel was very well appointed , spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful. The inimitable Marco was amazing and everywhere. We had an excellent meal which needed to be booked in advance. Be aware that the poolside turns into a restaurant which could be an issue but was ok for us. There’s buggy service to the beach where Marco sets up chairs and umbrellas. There’s a gorgeous pool and hot tub outside each room’s private little terraced area. In all, one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever been to and we go to hotels a lot!

Beautiful boutique hotel. We celebrated a delayed but wonderful Valentine’s Day for one night only! Service was excellent — golf cart to the beach — and our suite was beautifully furnished. Easy walk to nearby restaurants. We took an Uber there and back from our “home base” in nearby Bonita. Hubby enjoyed the included breakfast.

The staff is excellent and the garden is beautiful. The rooms need a slight refresh. All in all I left with a very positive attitude about the hotel UNTIL I received the invoice and saw the resort fees. Absolutely outrageous. I would never go back and I would never recommend the hotel. Any owner who fleeces their customers like that doesn't deserve your business.

Dear Guest, Thank you for complementing our staff & gardens. We do hold ourselves to high standards such as: custom décor, our master bedrooms come with king beds and en-suite marble bathrooms. The suites have patios that open either to a private patio garden or to the pool. Concerning the resort fee remark, we believe that enhances our guests stay as includes numerous services as daily breakfast for two, private parking, WI-FI, daily newspaper and Beach Butler service which includes towels, chaise lounges, umbrellas and golf cart transportation to the beach. We truly strive to cater to our guests every need. All of these glamorous details, that set our property apart from the rest, are why we have a luxury resort fee. Guests are advised of the resort fee upon booking, it is declared in one’s received confirmation letter and also published on line on our hotel website and third-party travel agencies. With Gratitude, Ana M. Florescu General Manager at The Escalante

Our 2nd visit to The Escalante. It is a sweet little spot with about 12 rooms that afford quiet and relaxation right in the heart of Naples. Continental breakfast delivered by the Marco , the guy who is the energizer bunny there. Some things to be aware- The pricing is Ritz Carlton level. In addition they charge a $200 per night resort fee on top of the room charge- which is ridiculous for what is provided. On our stay Red Tide was in the water so no beach chairs or shuttle. Some bikes- but $200 per night? Also note that they charge your entire booked stay 21 days in advance- with no cancellations - as we needed to go home a day early and they would not credit us a day off our 8 day stay. "That is their policy". We also found the furnishings and bathroom a bit tired for an extremely expensive hotel. With Covid perhaps they are just financially recuperating but still tired. The restaurant adjoining the hotel is excellent but may be separate ownership.

Dear Guest, Thank you for being one of our many returning guests. We are thrilled that you appreciated the quiet & relaxation of our little hidden gem. And yes, Marco is a great asset to our company. Employees like Marco are what make our service unparalleled to others. Concerning the resort fee remark we like to believe that the resort fee enhances our guests stay. Daily breakfast for two people is included in the resort fee, along with private parking, WI-FI on premises, daily newspaper and Beach Butler service which includes towels, chaise lounges, umbrellas and golf cart transportation to the beach. Both the resort fee and cancellation policy/advance deposit rule are published on line and also communicated through the confirmation email letter. These policies have been in place for years. We are sorry that when you stayed with us there was red tide at the beach. Due to heath concern for our guests at that time beach service was closed, however we did provide excellent poolside service. Once again thank you for posting your review and we do hope we will have the opportunity of welcoming you back to The Escalante in the future. With Gratitude, Ana M.
