Expectations were high due to positive reviews. On one of the cold nights in Florida the AC made an infernal noice. There are no blocking curtains just a blind. The toilet made noises all night. The room had a partial facelift in very poor taste. Service people were very nice, front desk, not so much. Would not recommend specially at this season prices. Maybe we just got the worst room ?
Building work going on a few feet from us at 8am, next door. Ok, there was hurricane damage, but you can’t rent out the rooms when they’re surrounded by renovations. Newly decorated room, but no hairdryer or bathroom shelving/storage. Sound proofing non existent (should’ve done that while renovating), could hear talking, snoring, farting from next door room. TV was loud until 1.30am. There are units either side and behind, attached to the one we were in. If your neighbors don’t sleep, neither will you !! Aircon unit old and too loud for a small room Shower very powerful, but bathroom ventilation almost useless (summer humidity will be fun). Should’ve put a shower screen when decorating , but chose a curtain instead. Not possible to have any outside light in the room without compromising privacy - our blind was closed the whole time we were there. I think most others were also. No maid or room made up in 4 nights. We did request but it didn’t happen. Manager less than empathetic to our needs. Looks like they’re only looking for the overnight stoppers here.…
The hotel is still recovering from the damage caused by Hurricane Ian. Many of the rooms are under major renovation. We were disappointed that the pool area was closed due to awaiting an inspection as we knew the local beaches weren’t safe for swimming so hoped to make the most of the pool and the grounds whilst there. It would have been nice to have been emailed about this prior to arrival as well as being alerted to the renovation work. We are from the U.K. and booked over a year ago to fit in with other travel plans. The hotel is close to a Walmart and Publix which is useful as the rooms have microwave and refrigerators. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was disappointing as, although there was a toaster, no bread was provided and when we asked the lady there, she said it was because of the hurricane. There were some cereal bars and packaged pastries but we found another couple not too happy with the breakfast. We loved the tropical garden and all the plants were clearly labelled. We would probably return in the future as we liked the layout and location, which felt secure.…
I stayed at the Inn last night for the 2nd time. Check in was easy. Kim gave me a warm welcome. Rick, the owner, is lovely. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable, and it was very quiet. If you’re looking for a “no frills”, affordable, safe and clean spot this is a great option. I will be back! - Katie from W Palm
We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to Key West. The man at front desk was very nice and friendly. The hotel is cute and clean. The room was bigger than I thought it would be. The bathroom was beautiful, especially when you compare to other hotels. The beds were very comfy. We were suppose to leave early but we decided to sleep in instead. The room was clean. The only thing I would’ve liked are blackout curtains. There’s a lot of light coming in at night from the outdoor lights even when you close the blinds. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
only stayed one night, but for the value I found this hotel to be very nice, worthy of more than a 2 star. The staff were nice and polite. the room was clean and had everything I need. I had a very comfortable stay. I thought it was centrally located to shops, gas stations and restaurants.
Room was nice and clean. Kitchenette had everything we need it for our short stay. They had a few nice grills around the pool area with tables and chairs to relax while cooking. We BBQ the two days we stay, Continental breakfast included fruits and was enough to start our day. We stay over Memorial Day weekend and visit two beaches only few minutes away by car. Supermarkets are very close and nice places to eat. We are planning to go back for the 4th of July and probably will make this hotel our "Oasis Getaway"
The room was clean, bathroom as well. The location is not in the city centre, but very nice beach is few minutes by car. The receptionist was very nice and helped us a lot. The breakfast was also good, the same everyday but we didnt expect anything gorgeous.I would appreciate some vegetables for breakfast, other than that everything was awesome.
Clean towels and beddings. Microwave and coffee making machine + room safe. Mini fridge. Friendly staff. As it was chilly, I switched the air-conditioner to heating mode but could not detect any warm air from the air-conditioner. I phoned reception and 3 persons came, including the receptionist!
Nice pool, no hot tub, dated rooms, mold in shower, rooms smelly - musty and covered by air fresheners. The contracted company sprays for bugs once a month. Lovely landscaping! Shuffleboard courts. Our room was small and dark. Good price, but will not be returning. Good location.
