Beautiful historical building with the over 100 year old door in our room. Enjoyed the breakfast conversation with the other guests. Enjoyed the breakfasts too! Great location to walk to many interesting stores and restaurants. Just be aware that stores and some places to eat close early or close on certain days. Guess that's part of being a small town. My husband and I had a very nice anniversary get-a-way. I would like to return some day.

We were here for a one night stay and really liked this place. Melanie was friendly and very helpful. Outstanding location, just steps from restaurants, shops and sunset over the lake. We will be back for a longer stay in the future.

Did a weekend get a way and girls day out with shopping and eating in the quaint little Florida town called Mount Dora. The bed and breakfast we stayed in was very clean and accommodating. The owner and host, Melanie, was great and served a wonderful breakfast every morning. There is private parking out back and close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Made this stay very enjoyable!

The Historic Inn was a treat. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming. Melanie was a great host, accommodating and helpful. Plus the breakfasts were delicious! She was able to serve gluten free for my breakfast. We would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.
