Checked in on July 10 my grandson and his mom and dad staying at hotel we were going to have a sandwich in trailer before heading out. But were told extra 12 dollars a day for visitors. To late for us to cancel we will eat out. But beware if you have kids it'll cost and they really don't care stayed here 20 other times. Just wife and I. This is our last. From here pensacola rv park. Stayed there also great people. This is only a problem if you have family near by.

I paid resort prices and expected resort amenities. The park was clean but when I checked in and only AFTER I paid, they said the WiFi basically didn't work at all. I'm a retired computer technician with 25 years' experience, the WiFi doesn't work. It looks like it was put together by a 12-year-old that had no clue what he was doing. I talked with a full-timer that had been there a year and said the WiFi has never worked for him.

This place is Not a real camp ground more like overnight stay at Walmart parking lot and management is crude and rude. Mark my words Not worth the hassle you should find another place to camp - just keep going and stay clear of this place.

Not what we were expecting, a good place to spend the night if you are traveling through and need to stop for the night but it's not a campground if that that's what you are looking for. Sites are very close together and no shade or trees not very private.

The site we had was, on the positive side, very level. However, there were no trees and even in October weather it took us a while to cool down the RV. I found the bathrooms to be inferior......not really as clean as I would have wanted. We were here just for the night passing through. It is not what I would want for a camping experience.

PLEASE BE AWARE STAY FAR AWAY from this Avalon Landing RV Park. management is the worse I’ve ever had the misfortune to have to deal with in my 40+ years of camping. Called to cancel reservations 2 weeks in advance due to exposure to Covid-19 and was told they would keep all our deposit of $171.00 no exceptions. There are other nice RV parks in the area that offer way better services with shady spots - will never visit this one. Stay clear of Avalon Landings.

This hidden gem is a short drive off exit 22 for FL-281 S, close to I-10. A Clean , quiet park. Go to bed early , so you can get up early enough to see the incredible sunrises! Easy drive to local beaches and other attractions.

Enjoyed our stay in our RV -- rented site 12 (pull in with waterfront view) for the weekend. They keep the place up and "rules" you sign when you check in makes it clear they do their best to keep the riffraff out. A lot of campers were older people, also along with us a couple families with small children. Easy access in and out with our 38' rig plus dolly and SUV. Shower/bathroom, laundry, LP gas filling, and small pool available on site. Onsite waste, water, electric, cable TV, and WiFi (not for streaming TV/Netflix/etc.) Not far from town and maybe 20 minutes from the beach with a pretty simple drive. Toll for the road going south to the beach is $5 each time, so be prepared with cash. Greatly enjoyed our stay. Look forward to coming back some day.

When we arrived, we realized that there were very few trees and very little shade. After we had set up we realized that it was against the rules to put up our canopy for shade. This caused 90% of our area to be in the blazing sun even with our awning out. We, however, decided to try and suffer through it since we were already there and were very aware that we were not getting our money back. After burning in the blazing Florida heat for several hours we realized that we were covered in sand gnats. These are the biting type. After the first night Me, my husband and my children were covered in bites from these insects. We tried several different Deet products and ended up spending a lot of money on different products just so we could enjoy the great outdoors. Somewhere along the way My husband and I realized that very few people were seen outdoors at this RV Park. My son asked me to take him to the pool to cool off from the excruciating sun and when I did we arrived to a swimming pool that is not much bigger than a large bath tub. We stayed until the sand gnats were so bad we had to leave and retreat back inside our camper. We will not be back to this RV park.
