We hosted my daughters wedding this past weekend here and we couldn’t be happier with this venue! The staff went above and beyond time and time again to deliver amazing hospitiity! There was a random cold snap forecasted for the day of our event they purchased electric blankets for all the Glamping tent guest! Everything about the cabins feels “homey and personal” there’s nothing that feels commercial or institutional! Even the towels are fluffy and high-quality! (And not white lol )

The staff was very present throughout the entire event and willing to do anything and everything to help things flow smoothly for event! Mary wiping down the glass doors right before things got started was a great touch and Nick was so incredibly flexible with every little detail as plans kept changing at the last minute.

The location is a beautiful place to have a wedding, the ability to have out-of-town family all stay in the same place is wonderful, but the crowning glory of this venue is definitely the hospitality, kindness, and flexibility of the people who serve there. I promise it makes all the difference!

I HIGHLY recommend Cold water gardens to anyone, for a simple family getaway or for an entire wedding!

Best way to spend a couple of day s relaxing. The owners treat you like family. We inadvertently drove over a foot bridge and a wheel went off the bridge; they sent a tractor immediately to help us out! If you want to get away from it all and unplug with the family, this is a gem! Each luxury cabin sleeps 4 and features a king size Tempurpedic bed, pull out sleeper sofa, super comfy bedding, large bathroom with all the amenities you'll need from a hair dryer to soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc, screened porch, full kitchen with full size fridge, coffee, tea, paper towels, screened porch, a/c heat, fire ring and outdoor chairs. Coldwater Gardens sells honey, eggs, mushrooms, soap, etc. Be sure to tour their gardens. Kids will love the rabbit and baby bunnies! They even have hammocks to hang out, a playground, and the tree house features a hot tub. They even provide tubes to go tubing on their property! Another day we went strawberry picking just a few miles away for the best tasting berries we've ever had!
Book in advance; they even offer a military discount. This place is such a gem, we'd like to keep it as our little secret but it's just too good and needs to be shared. We will definitely be back soon!

We had a great stay! We loved that it’s situated in the woods but looks out over a cotton field so we could enjoy the sunset. It’s private at the end of a road. The kitchenette was well stocked. We prepped meals ahead of time and cooked on the propane grill. (There’s also a charcoal grill available.) It’s air conditioned and has a comfortable size bathroom. The hot tub was a special treat. We drove to the sandbar areas to enjoy the creek. The gravel fire pit/picnic table area is large in addition to a large grassy yard space. There was enough play space that we didn’t need to leave. We did go enjoy the hydroponic garden tour and enjoyed learning about growing mushrooms. The children especially enjoyed the bunnies. It was a relaxing and quiet getaway.

We love staying out at Coldwater gardens! The cabins are really clean and comfortable! The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful, and the owners do a great job, keeping it looking beautiful! I love being able to go down to the river and swim when the weather is warm! I have never done the tent camping but the set up is really perfect for that as well. I think they have a stargazing platform you can rent to use with your primitive tent, camping! Only an hour from the beach. This is a great spot for anyone coming down from the north. Highly recommend!!

Awesome place, peaceful and relaxing. Our first stay was in the amazing tree house last spring. Them we came back for a Thanksgiving retreat in a cabin. Mary in the office was awesome! We went to Blackwater State Park one day (not far) and Milton has good restaurants. Especially Blackwater Bistro! This is simply the best place to stay in the panhandle! It is an awesome wedding venue too! There was setup going on for a wedding, as we checked out.

We rented the whole property for an after wedding camping trip for family and wedding party. This place was perfect! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pictures and website are nice, but the places is so much better. The cabins and the glamping tents were awesome! Walking the property was an adventure! We will go again!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Coldwater Gardens and the staff. We held our vow renewal ceremony there on May 4th, 2016 and stayed in the Treehouse cabin. Everything was perfect and they even refilled the hot tub for us. Coldwater Gardens is the perfect place for a getaway. We can't wait to go back and stay in one of the "Glamping" tents.

I was skeptical at first... 50yo with family going tent camping in November? Right. I was prepared to be sore and cold and ... Old.

But I was in for a surprise. Tents on raiseown wood because the $5 bundle doesn't last all that long.

There are lots of roads and trails and the place is fairly quiet, especially for being so close to civilization. there are also cabins and bungalows if you don't want to do the tent experienced platforms as big or bigger than a large hotel room.comfkrtable queen sized beds. The tents closed up tightly against the wind and the wet and were very comfortable. The platforms have decks on the back and a fire pit area out back. You can bring your own wood or buy a bundle for $5. My suggestion is bring your . My recommendation is try the tents during the nice weather, and then check out the bungalows and cabins in the winter or in the summer when it's hot or cold.

This is a great place to get away for a few days, close to Pensacola so it is convenient. They also rent out their facility for weddings and family get-togethers. The staff is really friendly... No when I say that I mean they are really really really friendly and want to go out of their way to make you comfortable. Customer service and hospitality is something that is people really know. One night when we were there it was really cold and they offered us electric blankets and extra pillows. I mean come on, who does that?

The shower facilities are clean and spacious and very comfortable. safety is not something I worry about in this area and I felt very comfortable allowing my young sons to roam around. And I should mention it's worth going through their gardens to see what they're doing. It's educational and fun.

I recommend cold water gardens if you're looking to get away. It's not expensive and it's well worth the money and time... Even if you're over 50 years old and have gotten used to sleeping in your own bed. 😁

Great place! Awesome facility. Took kids here for a quick get away and was very impressed. Facilities are incredibly well taken care of as well as the grounds. Staff was friendly and took care of all needs. We will definitely be going back. Kids had a great time fishing and just exploring. Got rained out one afternoon but made the best of it.

A great 4 days in one of the glamping tents. The 300+ acres has many options for discovery, learning and exploring. The working organic farm, honey production, mushroom logs, and fresh chicken eggs made it a great visit. The staff made it even better. Learned so much and appreciated all of the hard work needed to make this place special. The glamping tents were more than comfortable. The mattresses, sheets, and blankets were high quality, the wool area rug, refrigerator, and coffee maker made it feel like home. We enjoyed the covered porch during a rainy afternoon and the fire pit in the evenings. We also go to see the pitcher plants blooming in the wild.

Downtown Milton is the nearest dining option. It's about 20 - 25 mins. The convenience store 3 miles away does make pizzas. The glamping tents only have an outdoor charcoal grill, coffee maker, water boiler, and mini-fridge. Camp stoves work well on the back porch if you have one.

Depends on which type you pick. We stayed in the Glamping tents they ranged from $74-85 per night.
