We rented the whole property for an after wedding camping trip for family and wedding party. This place was perfect! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pictures and website are nice, but the places is so much better. The cabins and the glamping tents were awesome! Walking the property was an adventure! We will go again!
We had a great stay! We loved that it’s situated in the woods but looks out over a cotton field so we could enjoy the sunset. It’s private at the end of a road. The kitchenette was well stocked. We prepped meals ahead of time and cooked on the propane grill. (There’s also a charcoal grill available.) It’s air conditioned and has a comfortable size bathroom. The hot tub was a special treat. We drove to the sandbar areas to enjoy the creek. The gravel fire pit/picnic table area is large in addition to a large grassy yard space. There was enough play space that we didn’t need to leave. We did go enjoy the hydroponic garden tour and enjoyed learning about growing mushrooms. The children especially enjoyed the bunnies. It was a relaxing and quiet getaway.
We stayed in the treehouse for my birthday and it was one of the most peaceful stays I think I’ve ever had. The gardens were absolutely beautiful they had hammock swings, animals, plants, all types of areas to explore. The creek was so pretty the water was cold but it was only about a 30 minute tube ride to the end. The morning we got up we sat on the bed and just looked out the window and watched the deer. I highly recommend if you’re wanting to get away and be in just a beautiful serene environment.
This was an awesome place to stay for a weekend. Quiet, friendly staff and off the beaten track. Be advised that once you turn onto the back road to get to Coldwater Gardens, you may think that you are driving down a logging road or something. Keep going because it is worth it.
We missed the fact that the check in desk closed at 8pm, but when we arrived at 9:15pm we were still met with a smile and given an unhurried tour of our tent. A cold night was expected, so our host left us to get settled and returned with a pile of blankets to ensure we were comfortable. The room provided a luxurious take on camping. It was well equipped with coffee facilities and had easy access to clean toilets and hot showers. In the morning we took advantage of the beautiful surroundings to stretch our legs with a beautiful walk along the hotel's creek.
