We recently stayed here for one night before a family cruise the next day, and for the price I wasn't particularly impressed. When we arrived, as others have mentioned the hotel airport shuttle took a very long time to come around. We got in Miami really early (before check in) and had our luggage kept in the storage room. I immediately noticed that there was a leak in the storage room that had already wet some other guests luggage, so this was already a bad start. However, the check in process was smooth, the rooms were clean and the customer service people (at that time) were very friendly and welcoming. The international mall and the mall of Americas is close by so that's also a plus if you wanna do a little shopping (we did). When we got back to the hotel I checked on some packages I had shipped to there the week before and unfortunately one package was missing. It was the fault of USPS but the gentleman at the front desk wasn't helpful at all. I was surprised, and I hardly ever say that but I think this experience is warranted. If Customer Service is important to them, they clearly missed the mark on this one. When we got in the room, the carpet smelled a bit musty and the air condition unit was very loud, bearable for one night I guess. What I didn't like though was the room door didn't close properly, so make SURE you check it when you enter or exit (every time). Also, if you're taking the shuttle to the cruise ship, book your departure time with the desk as soon as possible, it fills up very quickly. If you're looking for food there's an Ihop and a Denny's up the street and if you're not driving then there's a pizza hut close by that delivers to the hotel. This hotel offers a free breakfast (usual continental stuff), but the breakfast area is very small, almost impossible to have a comfortable family breakfast. The shuttle to the cruise ship was on-time and we had no issues with it. It's not really a bad stay, I wouldn't recommend it if you're coming down for a lengthy vacation but if you're just stopping by for a night or two before a cruise then definitely give them a look.

Stayed 1 night pre cruise. At MIA went to hotel shuttles, 1st floor and across the street. Called the hotel for the shuttle and a pleasant young lady answered. Told us what the van looked like and said it should be about 15 minutes. Driver was nice and helpful. Checked in early about 1pm with no problem, room was ready. One of the front desk personnel seemed new and had a little trouble booking the port shuttle for the morning. She said the only shuttle left at 12:30. This is a complimentary service from the hotel. Our room was awesome, big and clean. As a matter of fact the hotel smelled clean as soon as we walked in. Not overly fragrant like covering up a smell, but a really clean smell. The room had a kitchenette, fridge, living room, couch, desk with chair, flat screen, safe, separate bedroom. Bath room is nice. There is a bar area, pool and fitness room. We could hear planes from our room, but its an airport hotel and we were on the top floor. It wasnt overly disturbing. We were told there is a sports bar up the street with good food but opted for subway right on the corner for lunch. Did the sports bar for dinner, excellent btw. After dinner stopped back at the front desk just to double check that shuttle. There was an earlier shuttle leaving at 11:30. There was an attendant at breakfast taking names and room numbers. Waffle batter was thin, eggs watery and the sausage patty not cooked enough. But on the flip side, there were 3 waffle makers with 3 flavors and plenty of other choices including cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, bread, etc. The attendant was pleasant and busy. Checked out at 11 and the shuttle was already there. It was a pretty large shuttle bus and stopped at other properties. It was about a 35-40 minute ride total to the port and dropped folks at each ship. I would definitely stay here again. The area seemed safe and there were other hotels, restaurants and stores in the area. It was a good value for the price.

This hotel is convenient to the airport, offers free shuttle to airport & the port, and the staff is very nice. However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. We had ants in our room, there was damage in the wall next to the AC unit so I think that’s where they were coming from. The lady mopping the floors in the lobby and ladies’ room was using a cup of water she filled from the faucet rather than cleaning solution (this was on a busy morning with the lobby filled with people waiting on the port shuttle). As for the port shuttle, we ended up taking an Uber because they only had 10:30 and 1:30 available (and we signed up the day before).

We stayed here overnight on January 14th, the fourth time we have stayed here in the last few years. We booked here because all of our past stays (and reviews) have been excellent, however this time we were really dissapointed with the hotel.

I want to start by saying the staff were amazing as always; super friendly and accommodating. We had some issues with hot water in our room and they didn't hesitate to find us a room with hot water.

We did not utilize the courtesy shuttle to and from the cruise port as past experience has taught us it's a bit of nightmare, with a lot of people fighting for a spot early/not following directions/waiting their turn. We used an Uber instead and it was great as we pre-booked it the night before, it was quick, and worth the money for a stress free trip to the port.

The breakfast was good, a nice selection of options to cater to many different tastes, with tea and coffee available 24/7.

There are multiple restaurants within walking distance, as well as a well stocked gas station on the corner for all those last minute/munchy needs.

Sadly, the hotel itself has gone downhill. It really all comes down to cleanliness, and I am sorry to say that the hotel overall was very dirty. The pool area/loungers were dirty, the floors (outside of the tiled lobby area) were very dirty, and it was obvious no real vacuuming/cleaning had been done in some time. The hallway floors and walls were dirty, and the elevators were really bad as well. The carpets in the rooms were dirty, the bathroom floor (in both of the rooms we were in) were also very dirty, with a lot of build up/old dirt dust everywhere.

I am sad to write this review given how absolutely spotless the hotel has been on all of our past stays, but it is necessary so that anyone who is looking to book for the first time, or to book again based on past experiences is fully informed of the negative changes.

I am sorry to say that we will be looking for another hotel on our upcoming visits to Miami.

We booked this hotel to take advantage of the complimentary transportation from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the cruise terminal. Boy were we wrong to rely on those services. Upon arriving at the Miami airport, we called the hotel and told us the airport shuttle would be arriving in about 15-20 minutes. We were in no hurry. We waited about 50 minutes and when the shuttle arrived, it was already full of passengers. There was no room for me and my husband along with our suitcases. So rather than waiting another hour for the next shuttle, we took a taxi to the hotel which cost $40! Upon checking in, we signed up for the 11:00 am shuttle knowing that we didn't have to be to the cruise port until noon. The cruise terminal shuttle was more than 40 minutes late! When we shared our concern with the woman in charge of the shuttle service, all she said was "sorry, traffic." As 11:40 approached and we had been waiting in the lobby for an hour, we decided to take an Uber to the port, costing us another $20. The complimentary shuttle service is a completely worthless offer. Additionally, the onsite gym facilities were a joke! Two of three pieces of equipment were functional. This hotel is located in a location that feels dirty and unsafe, the staff was mediocre at best, and the value falls far below the price we paid.

I have the verification that my stay was to be $181.00, but was charged over $205.00. When I provided the verification, i was told that corporate "compensated" me with reward points (that I didnt agree to and that cant be cashed out). I was told by the hotel that Corporate can issue a refund, and then told by Corporate that only the hotel can issue a refund. Total run around.

On top of having no extra towels available, and no one staffing the front desk, this is unacceptable.

What a nosedive this hotel has taken. Stayed there a little over a year ago and had no problems. Stayed there a few days ago and wow, what a change.

Refrigerator was completely broken, no light and not cold (and yes, I checked to see if it was plugged in and turned on). The carpet was sticky and filthy (we kept our shoes on). The floor in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been swept or cleaned in a while, partially clogged bathroom sink, dirty shower and the underside of the toilet seat and lid was caked with dirt and long, black hair. The floor mat for outside of the shower had black dirt spots on it. Even the ice bucket was dirty and the lid looked like someone had taken a hammer to it. Both computers at the business center wouldn't work, kept resetting themselves to the start screen. No sugar or stir sticks at the coffee machine in the breakfast area.

Other than all that, the place is great...not.

I had an overnight stay here it was perfect. The shuttle was easy to identify, the check-in process was smooth. The room was clean, spacious and well laid out. The complementary hot beverages in the room were much appreciated after a long commute. The hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic but there was enough to choose from if you have a picky palette. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay and has an early flight the next day.

We got to baggage area in Miami I called at 9:45 pm. I was put me on hold, forgot about me or so he said.
Called again said be outside baggage on level one at 77 or 15. No such numbers in hotel shuttle area, I even asked security
Called again no answer, tried 4 times no answer.
Finally answered put on hold for a long time, he never answered. After trying 12 times with no answer. We found a taxi to take to the hotel. This was very disappointing, the shuttle was the biggest reason we choose this hotel.
After a ONE hour wait at the airport for the shuttle we took a 7 minute taxi ride and $16 later we arrived at hotel, 11pm. We went to check-in, I was upset on how dismissive the clerk was on the phone. However, I would have been over it if the port shuttle was unproblematic…it wasn’t. The clerk, Brayan , that’s what he said his name was, stated they only had a 1:30pm shuttle available. This would make us late for our one pm cruise check in appointment. I was upset . He said, nothing he could do. The shuttles are a courtesy. We don’t pay for them.” Again the shuttles were the reasons I selected this hotel. As well as, if that’s the case why did I pay more for one night “stay and sail” then a one night stay. We had to take a Uber ‘$40 out of pocket’. That being said our Uber ride was awesome. Our uber driver, Jose, had a very clean vehicle, super friendly, helpful, informative and fast.
As for the hotel’s breakfast it was standard, cereal, box danishes, egg patties, sausage patties, coffee, milk, waffles, and etc. The room was standard bed, clean and plain. FYI-The drapes do not close…lots of street lights…all night. Could be problematic for individuals who cannot sleep with a bright lite room.
I would NOT stay here again and I do NOT recommend. The airport/port shuttle was useless at this location and customer service sucked. You can stay at a nicer place for the same cost, even cheaper since you’re not paying for the “stay and sail” cost.

Good evening. So how that works is upon arrival, we will place you on a waiting list, store your luggage (depending on occupancy), and go from there depending on the demand for the day, which determines early check-in, but rest assured, we will do our very best to get you situated and accommodated.

There’s a convenience store across from Subway. And another just up the road. I also walked a little further to Airport Cafe and Liquors. Had a Cuban meal, grabbed wine for our cruise as well.
