I'll start with the positives. The staff was very friendly. The pool was nice, although certainly not suitable for small children or weak swimmers as it gets deep very quickly. There's a mini golf course. Breakfast was very nice and the view from the 9th floor (where breakfast is served) was fantastic. Outside of that, there's nothing great about this hotel. The main selling point of the hotel is that it's the closest to the Hard Rock Stadium. That is true but, if you're looking for something close to be able to walk like I was, it's not really for you. There are sidewalks all the way to the stadium but it's still almost a 2 mile walk. Not crazy but, depending on what you're doing at the stadium, you might not want to make that trek back. Also, the driving here is wild and it just felt unsafe to be a pedestrian so close to the highway. I read reviews saying it was "a little outdated" but otherwise pretty good. It's more than a little outdated. I doubt it's had any visual updates in at least 20 years. I got a room with a balcony that had a view. The "view" (that I paid extra for) was a slab of concrete and tents. If you poked your head far enough to the right you could kind of see the pool. The view from my second room was much better although it was hard to enjoy that given the reason I had to move rooms. I always check rooms for bugs as soon as I get in. The unfortunate thing with bed bugs is they're sneaky and like to hide anywhere they can fit. I did the normal check under the mattress and pulled the sheets out. I didn't see anything so I assumed all was well. I woke up on the first morning of my stay to find a single bed bug crawling on my sheets. I was, understandably, freaking out. I killed it with a napkin and brought it to the front desk to show them. The woman at the desk looked equally as worried as I was. They moved my room, apologized for the inconvenience, and thanked me for bringing it to their attention. I went through the same process in the new room, again found nothing, and cautiously assumed all was fine. I couldn't afford to find a new hotel at this point so I didn't have much of a choice. I woke up this morning with bites on my feet that I did not go to bed with. I assume the bed bug issue is for the majority, if not all, of the hotel rather than just a room. I know anyone can get bed bugs and they don't discriminate based on quality but I do think it speaks to the quality of the hotel that it's not being monitored. I went back and read some 1-star reviews. There were people reporting bugs in the bed 3+ months ago. I can only assume that this is a known issue that isn't being taken care of properly. Now guests like myself have to do everything in their power to make sure we don't take them home with us. Regardless of anything positive I have to say, nothing is going to make this experience enjoyable after finding a bed bug. I paid a significant amount of money for the room so the whole experience just feels like a massive waste of money. I can't tell you where to stay or not stay but I can tell you that I will never return to this hotel. Next time, I'll just stay at a Hilton. I'm extremely disappointed.…
The rooms are very clean. Towels And linens are cheap. The beds are too firm for me. Between cheap linens, Highway noise and hard bed, I couldn’t sleep at all. The restaurant is never open and the food looks like fast food anyway. They play Christian music in the public areas which I find extremely annoying and offensive as someone who isn’t Christian. Why are they subjecting me to their bs?
Alex and Victoria were amazing. They were helpful and do everything so that you'll feel good. The breakfast could have been better, and it could have been nice if it was till 11:00. Very nice! Clean and good service
Excellent service by all of there staff ! Even organised a shuttle service to the venue. Air con could do with upgrading in the rooms but apart from that 5 stars from me !! If I ever am wanting the stadium it will be the hotel to go to
I love this hotel, the staff are always nice and it's so clean and tidy. The breakfast area is breathtaking, the pool is always crystal clear. We always get nice rooms. I usually get a double queen room. I stayed a week the last time I was there, this time was a last minute book Bec we got there early and our BNB wasn't open. I thought I had booked a queen double room but some how went through this app and ended up on some agonda stuff and it booked a different room with full beds. Definitely not good for how many people I had but that was not fault of the hotel by any means. I will always choose this hotel if I'm not in a bnb
Awesome place to stay. This is my favorite stop over hotel whenever I visit Florida. It’s centrally located to the shopping districts, restaurants, airport accessibility and all necessary amenities. Great staff, rooms are always clean.
Great place to stay outside Miami, very clean and convenient location. Staff was great, all elevators were working, breakfast was ok but at the top floor with beautiful views of the Stadium and beyond. I’d stay again. #LAMA22
What a blast!! This four day stay was an unbelievable adventure to the 2022 Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, on arrival I was greeted with the Formula 1 theme presented by management and staff, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient and presented me with a comfortable room. The room had a king bed with relaxing features and an ample bathroom with combined bath/shower after settling in, I went downstairs to the sports bar which was pleasant with offers of food and drink which were both very enjoyable. The evening was pleasant and the bed comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was offered on the top floor with again the Formula 1 theme. Both continental and hot food and drinks were offered and delish. As the hotel is just over a mile from the stadium / circuit we walked every day back and forth to the event, there was a transport service to and from the circuit for a small fee. The hotel is close to the Florida Turnpike so access is pretty unstressed. Parking is ample and there is security patrolling the parking lot. There is a wonderful pool on site, a mini 9 hole putting course and basket ball court. All in all, the 4 days was something to remember and will have many memories for years to come. Thank you management and staff for making this stay spectacular.…
I left my room for 10 mins to eat some breakfast and I find house keeping in my room even tho I had not put up a sign to allow them in. I tell her to leave and they're asking me if it's even my room. I brought it up to the manager and she said they're allowed in anytime after 9am as long as they knock. I was not ok with this at all. They did nothing to alleviate me of this concerned other than tell me it's a policy that doesn't seek to be written down anywhere.I asked to see this policy and the manager said she doesn't have to show me. I had also asked for my 150 dollar deposit/ hospitality fee that was out of nowhere but she ignored me and didn't get me the surprise fee I was hit with to check in. Overall don't stay at this motel. Nothing is within walking distance but an alright casino. This is a local joint with people looking to go to hard rock…
The hotel was in a bad part of town, didn’t feel safe. The hotel was very dated, air conditioner was loud all night. At 3:30 on our 2nd night of stay, there was 4 girls outside the hotel, by the entrance of the hotel & parking lot. Just yelling, dancing, laughing, had loud music on, it went on for over an hour. It didn’t seem like the hotel staff or security did anything to stop them. Woke us up in the middle of the night & we had a hard time falling back to sleep. It’s the most ridiculous, insane experience I ever seen in a hotel. Would never stay in the hotel again.
