If you're looking for affordable and fun this is where you should stay on South Beach. I had my wedding in Miami. I am from Michigan. I will tell you we couldn't have found a better place. The rooms were clean. The suites were spacious. Every staff member was accommodating, especially Luis and Anna, who took care of us most of the time. I had 60 wedding guest stay at this hotel and Luis helped me coordinate every bit of it. Also, staying on Espanola way is great because there are so many cool places to eat. Our favorite place to hang was the cigar bar, they really took care of us. We had a great rate and the rooms were clean. Also, there is a 2 block walk to south beach. Very convenient. We did stay here with our two kids and it was perfectly fine for them as well. Stay Here!

If you are looking for a quaint, beautiful, comfortable, super clean, awesome location and last; but, not least the nicest most lovable, caring and helpful hotel staff you will encounter in Sourh Miami Beach ...you have to choose El Paseo Hotel!! The minute you arrive the staff makes you feel like a family member!! They all, without an exception, go beyond and above the line of duty to make you feel wonderful and safe during your stay!! Any questions that you might have make sure they will answer it and with the correct/appropriate answer! The location is outstanding! Close to the beach, Lincoln Road and located right at the corner of Washington and Espanola Way! Espanola Way consists of two pedestrian blocks with awesome restaurants and super wonderful entertainment! You have a choice to walk around or just stay at Espanola Way for any of your meals’ plans!! Uber gets to 1440 Washington Ave., which is the pick up spot within 4 minutes waiting, the max!! Public busses and the free trolley are just steps away! A small super market across the street! To summarize , You will be very happy staying at El Paseo Hotel where I will stay again whenever I return to South Miami Beach! Thanks everyone in the hotel staff!! You made my stay 500% AWESOME! 😍😍😍LOVED IT!!!

I stayed here for a wedding and the hotel was beautiful, clean, and refreshing! I’d choose it time and time again! The manager helped me to book the room remotely because I couldnt get it to work online and he was so kind. He even hugged me when I checked in! They made sure that the wedding party was well taken care of. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Miami Beach!

We stayed here at the end of August for two nights. The staff was really friendly and our room was located in the part of the hotel in the back alley which looked so beautiful with the plants and whole setting of the street. Our room was very clean and cozy. The hotel is close to the beach and other attractions like Lincoln, Ocean Dr and the Botanical Garden. We had a great time!

For the price that's offered for the hotel, I'm surprised it's not sold out more often from those who are looking to save money. Initially, I was a bit suspicious about a hotel in Miami Beach that can offer this price point. However, upon arriving at the hotel I smiled. You don't arrive at the hotel at first, you're on Espanola way, so you're thrown into a cute little village littered with restaurants and activity. In between the restaurants, you'll find the front desk to the hotel (you can see how that looks for many who take the iconic second-floor photo). Next to the other restaurants are the entrances to the rooms. So is this stretch of Espanola way, a hotel littered with restaurants or restaurants littered with hotel rooms? Either way, I love the concept. The rooms, I understand the negative reviews, they are fair if you aren't looking to hear activity early in the day or late at night. Most restaurants tend to close up by midnight. I'd highly recommend ensuring your room isn't facing Espanola or near the front. There are some rooms at the back that offer peace while still providing the chance to just open the gate and step back into the historic village area. Maybe it was the area I stayed everyone who came out of their rooms in my section seemed generally happy. No, it's not the Hyatt or the Epic hotel. If you need the range of amenities and services offered by those hotels, of course, you will be disappointed. The room size was pretty decent I never felt congested. Wifi range extends to some of the restaurants so you can pretty much save on your data. The shower setup was also comfortable with a full blasting of a hot shower, I caught myself on more than one occasion taking a bit long in the shower just because it felt great. Some large hotels have the full range and the shower is on or below par or you're waiting 10 minutes for it to warm up. You are also offered beach towels and complimentary passes to chairs at the beach that's about two blocks away. The route to the beach is also relatively safe and slightly scenic with a Starbucks within walking distance as well. The slightest issue I'd have is that some guests don't ensure the gate is properly locked when leaving some of the villa areas. Be sure to double-check when you're leaving. So, yes, even if I had the funds for a 5-star hotel, I don't see anything wrong with coming back here. I give it a 5/5 for a range of affordability, a room that meets comfortable expectations, proximity to the beach, bars and shopping centers. If I was offered the same room location, I'd come back again definitely.
