El paseo is a very nice and private boutique hotel. Our room was clean and cozy. There is a cute balcony with a table and 2 chairs on the 2nd floor that overlooks the entire beautiful Espanola Way street. Great customer service. Khalil was very accommodating!
Me and my partner had to stay an extra night in Miami due to a snow storm in New York. We found El Paseo on Hotel Tonight as a last minute stay but we wish we would’ve came across this hotel much sooner. The location of this hotel is amazing you are right in the center of all restaurants and closer to the beach. Luis who works upfront was really nice and accommodating. We will definitely be booking our next stay here. The rooms were great. There’s a lot of little details that make your stay more welcoming from a sewing kit to a robe!! They also give a discount card to use in restaurants in the area.
This is more than likely the review to make the rates go up. So the owners better look out for me🤣‼️ Pros: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION CONS: no elevator, at least in my building (but not a major inconvenience, particularly if you’re young like myself) Context: stayed for one night as I was heading out of the country in the early morning. Arrived approximately 1-2 hours after check in. Solo trip. Background: I looked at MANY local Miami Beach hotels, read many google and TripAdvisor reviews to ascertain realistic recent experiences. I found that the El Paseo was highly rated. It wasn’t until I actually called the hotel and spoke to Luis the manager that I felt further more at ease by the experience to await me. I noticed that they gave a nice discount to first responders/law enforcement which I am, which I took advantage of and they recognized. I desired a hotel that was clean, well kept and in walking distance to everything. This hotel fit the bill and then some. I will further say that this hotel is most befitting of individuals that seek QUALITY accommodations that do not NEED to be on Ocean Avenue or Collins (all of of which are within a 2-3 min walk)... This hotel is situated on Espanola street which is a beautiful corridor in south beach that I close enough to the party atmosphere of ocean Avenue and Collins, but has a “mature” laid back vibe. It was a beautifully decorated corridor filled with restaurants and a thriving cigar and hookah lounge filled with beautiful people. On Thursday, a motorcycle club all showed up and parked out front and really brought the place to life at night. Khalil/Khalid really took it a step above by providing amazing service and frequently “thanking me for my service” which wasn’t necessary but absolutely appreciated in our current climate! The Welcome gift was even further appreciated amongst other concessions! Room: CLEAN! Spotless! Building was spotless with keycard entry. Yes, you have to Carry your luggage up to the 2nd or 3rd floor due to the absence of an elevator but it was worth it compared to horror stories I’ve read by other small hotels nearby! Once I got settled in. Everything was perfect, they have a relationship with a company on the beach for complimentary beach chairs! The room came with beach towels. The balcony, though not much time spent there, was an awesome place to spend time! I’ll assuredly be returning so I know I’ll eventually enjoy coffee and a cigar on the balcony soon! Bathroom was spotless as well! Building: clean and perfect. Check in was also seamless! Building was quiet. I don’t think this area or hotel attracts rambunctious individuals which is great! I’d like to keep it that way! Overall: The hotel was amazing, the staff was nothing short of perfect! Like family almost! Restaurants outside the door of the building is a plus! Rates were competitive as well! I honestly would prefer spending my trip at this note versus the hustle and bustle at a trash hotel on ocean ave, Collins or Washington. Location is perfect . Service is perfect. Experience overall was perfect. Particularly if you’re a foodie interested in great Italian or Cuban fare and looking for a a great place to wind down after in reference to cigars or hookah. Very laid back and mature vibe in contrast to the riff raff and rambunctious vibe of ocean Avenue 1-3 blocks away... Espanola Way feels a world away! It’s awesome! I can’t wait to return soon for additional days already! Already looking forward to my buddy who recently checked me in who visited Chicago recently, “k”... Final thoughts: book this hotel! Don’t overthink, nothing will be “perfect” but it’s competitively priced and I think you would be highly pleased as a solo traveler or couple for a short or long term stay! Loved this place, more than likely I’ll be a regular for as long as I can afford to be and have already shared my experience with my fellow law enforcement/first responder colleagues and friends. …
Great time to visit Miami and I had a very convenient stay at the hotel! Thanks to Khalil who was there since day one of my arrival till the last day, working very hard to make all visitors happier with their stay. He made everything simple, quick and easy! Not to forget to mention that the staff care about the safety of all visitors all day long and checking and delivering the orders by themselves to guests doors. Khalil showed me where to go and try in Miami before leaving. It was bittersweet to say goodbye to this beautiful city and gorgeous staff!
