El Paseo My experience at El Paseo was the best one in 2020 and an excellent start to the 2021. Maybe one of the best in general! There were little issues with the reservation but the staff, especially Luis, the manager was super proactive and accommodating and very quickly he fixed everything for us. El Paseo it’s literally that, a beautiful “Promenade” in a very cute section of Española Way that has all the Spanish / European vibe and atmosphere. It’s really festive and joyful at nights. The hotel is somehow part of a group of the small businesses of this area so when you stay at the hotel you have better access to restaurants, bars and stores by getting nice discounts. All the dinning experiences there are amazing. We were in the middle of the pandemic however the excellent higiene and the appropriate protocols of the hotel made us feel very safe all the time. Thank you so much Luis for all that you did for us, I think we can’t never thank you enough. I highly recommend staying at El Paseo and I can’t wait to come back! Apenas pueda hacerlo voy a volver!…
The location is not bad. Colored pillows were quite musty and person at the desk called me at 11:13pm after I had crashed due to a computer issue with reservations. On one hand I understand but if I got back at 2am would they call me at 3am about clearing up an issue on their end? Hopefully it was just a one off glitch on their end but definitely annoyed me if there was any sort of potential issue it wasn’t caught when I checked in.
El Paseo is a hidden gem in South Beach. We felt like we were in Europe while enjoying a glass of wine before dinner at one of the hotel balconies. The beach is just two blocks away and cafes, shops, bars, and restaurants are found in every direction. We recommend trying a classic mojito at the Cuban restaurant on the corner. The hotel staff was helpful and welcoming every day, and we remember how welcome Luis made us feel the entire time between check in and check out. The entire experience here was wonderful and we would certainly stay here again.
Very well maintained and stylish. Excellent staff! As a bonus they have beach towels and an agreement w/ a chair rental place on the beach - 14th Street. By the way Coreem was a great help at the beach!
We stayed for 2 nights in this hidden gem - the staff we really friendly, it was exceptionally clean, beautiful modern interior, super photographic artwork depicting it’s Art Deco heyday with wonderful comfy beds and robes for each of us. Located on Espanola Way in the heart of bustling restaurants (Mexican, Italian and French) and bars reminiscent of small pavement cafes in Europe. 5 minutes walk to Lincoln Road and Miami Beach. Special thank you for my Birthday cupcakes!!!
