I stayed at Uma House in a family suite with my husband and 6-year old. My son was blown away by the Murphy bed but more importantly, the 2-room suite was clean, roomy, and quiet. There was refrigerator space for some essentials, comfortable bedding and good drawer and hanging space. We were in the main building-- there's a small but beautiful roof deck that was easy to access, and we spent lots of time in the pool in the building next door. The pool was quiet, mostly adults lounging in the sun, but it was perfect for my son, who was just learning to swim. The 3-4 foot depth was ideal for a kid, and there were some nice shady areas to relax. The location was great-- 2 blocks from the pool, quick walk to shops on Lincoln Road, a few kid-friendly restaurants (take out from Taco Taco, take out or eat in at Time Out Miami market). Downsides-- limited parking nearby, we did valet parking each day for a fee, lighting in the room was a little dim.…

Hotel close to shops and restaurants, a few steps from the beach and free deckchairs available at Boucher and Brothers, roof top swimming pool with nice view, however a bit small for the number of people who stay at UMA so never enough space and quality of the rather average water. Our room was very clean and well decorated, however there is a serious lack of storage for 3 people, in the bedroom (no closed cupboard just 5 hangers and a single bedside table for 2 beds) and in the bathroom (no cupboard just the sink to put our things and just a hook for a towel), well-stocked mini bar, however, it was very difficult to get bottles of water (when we arrived from a bike ride we were thirsty and asked to buy a bottle water at the reception unfortunately this was not possible)... The Americano café in which you can have lunch and which is attached to the hotel is very good but a bit expensive ($80 USD for 3 people for small lunches) and some servers are not really patient with people who do not speak English or Spanish well, no possibility of eating just an omelet you will have to take the whole dish unfortunately .... But in the whole mble the hotel is very practical and well maintained and the neighbors of rooms rather quiet despite the heavy spring break period! I recommend this hotel for those who want to visit…

My wife and I stayed here a for a couple nights and absolutely loved our stay. The room that we had was so spacious and clean. We enjoyed spending some time on the rooftop at the pool. What we appreciated was how spacious the rooftop was and it never felt too crowded. From our check in to our check out, we felt each staff member was very hospitable. Freddy, who works at the front desk never let us open a door, he was always quick to open doors for us! The location that this is in on the beach was great. It is walking distance to the beach and so many restaurants. You don't need a car for this spot. Rosetta bakery right down the street is a must. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

We booked our room the same day we checked in and stayed for 4 nights. Front desk staff was extremely welcoming upon check-in. The glass of Prosecco was a nice touch. Valet parking was easy as we had to commute to Miami daily for work. The pool staff (especially Johnny) were very friendly. This hotel is in a great location. Rooms were small but very clean and well appointed. Rood top area was very nice. Proximity to the beach and all SOBE activities make this an excellent place to stay. We will absolutely be back to Uma house for our next Miami Beach trip!

I almost never write a review, even though I travel extensively both domestically and internationally now that I no longer work for a living. However, I felt the need to personally compliment several key sraff including Gloria who made my reservation and Heide , as they both went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. My daughter visited me 4 of the 6 days I stayed at Uma house in the newly renovated tower . Although my room was fine, at 1st I requested a rollaway bed for my daughter, and then 2 days later a room change to have 2 queen beds and a little more space. They were able to accommodate my requests and even move my belongings to the new room. All of the staff seem to have a customer 1st attitude, including Alex, who acts somewhat as a concierge because he seems to know pretty much everything in terms of restaurants, excursions and must see's. The roof top pool was very enjoyable and the Saturday morning free yoga session was alot of fun. The morning coffee was exceptional, however I would have liked fruit or muffins to go along with it. They did provide biscotti which was OK. Overall, very enjoyable trip and I hope to return if my travel budget allows...…

Everything about this hotel is great, from the staff to the beautiful rooms. Even before arriving to Miami, we noticed there are 2 building with different room styles and Santiago was so accommodating and moved us to the building that didn't have the rooftop pool, per our request. Upon check-in, Domenica, assisted us at the reception desk. She was the best!! She allowed us to check-in early, and enjoy all the amenities the hotel offered. She explained everything and was a call away when needed. This hotel has a complimentary wine hour and more. Rooms are well-appointed. This will always be my hotel when in South Beach. Thanks to all here, including Freddy, the doorman. Oh, they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel. Check them out!!
