The Redbury is beautiful hotel in a fantastic location in Sobe (and they even have fair rates too. However, my stay was made by the level of service and help I received from Santiago and Liz at the front desk. They were phenomenal in every way and really made my stay a pleasure! With tons of options of where to stay, these two will be the reason why I return. Great employees are hard to find.
This hotel is very clean, nice and in perfect walking distance to everything. The beach is just across the street and there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The beach service at the SLS where the chairs are was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic experience which started with Santiago at the front desk who was phenomenal in every way and made it a pleasure from the start. Love the room, love the location, loved the service. Having stayed at a few other places in the area this is where I’ll come back to.
Stayed at the Redbury for 4 nights in early April on a girls trip with 5 friends. The staff at the hotel were super helpful & friendly. They went above & beyond. The rooms were nice & the bathrooms were new & clean. Great location right across the street from the beach. The roof area is perfect for relaxing with a group, with a perfect little pool to stay cool. I've stayed at a lot of hotels on South Beath & this has been one of my favorites. I would definitely stay there again!
The Redbury was perfect for our weekend getaway ! It’s two blocks from the beach, rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating (especially Santiago and Sebastian). Highly recommend!
My friend and I visited the redbury in April for a long weekend. The location is great very close to the beach and they have chairs included. The hotel staff was all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Such a great stay I’m staying again this month.
We have stayed at the Redbury South Beach once before in 2016 at a similar time of the year. This time the experience was not so great. The check-in was very off handed and dismissive. I think it was $40.00 for the “Resort Fee” on top of what we had paid. Unsurprisingly we were not happy with this as we checked in approx. 17.00hrs and checked out at 08.25 the ……… so don’t really know why we are paying for facilities that were never going to use! The room was good. What wasn’t so great was Breakfast. We were going on a cruise and had a check in time of between 09.00 and 09.30. So, we rocked up for breakfast at 07.45……not exactly at the crack of dawn. We were told……and with no finesse……. that breakfast started at 08.00 hours. OK so we took a seat on the Veranda. At 08.05 we went inside; were given a table and then lectured on why we should not have sat outside……and I mean lectured!! Apparently but sitting there it may have looked like they were open and God forbid that someone walked in. How very terrible were we! I could see that the staff were most unhappy and having all sorts of discussions between each other. Another customer walked away without ordering……..the waiter who told us off explained this to us with some distain. I was also told that I needed a voucher from Reception that should have been issued upon check in……..so off I toddled to get it. We have to say when the food arrived it was good. However, we did not have the time to enjoy the breakfast as we needed a taxi to the Cruise Port. Before breakfast I asked the guy on reception to book us a taxi to the Port. He replied that there was no need and one would only be 5 minutes and to check out and he would order one then. We did this…………..waited 15 minutes and I had to remind him…….another 5 minutes later a man arrived spoke to the receptionist….. looks like they made some transaction and then we were let to our car………….not a taxi at all but a massive black new 4x4 GMC. This was not what I had ordered but as time was against us, we knew that we were compromised and had to pay the $50.00 in for the short journey from South Beach to the Cruise Terminal. He also wanted the cash before we arrived as he said he didn’t want the payment to be seen at the Terminal. We stayed at a different hotel 9 days later between cruises and the exact same thing happened although I specifically requested a yellow taxi. We did not accept this and the Bell Boy arranged an Uber at $17.00 (he made a nice tip on top). It looks like there is an arrangement that guests going to the Cruise Port have money in their pockets and have time constraints and therefore will compromised and take a higher specification vehicle.…
This is a 2 star motel, not a 4 star hotel. Housekeeping does not do rooms and they lie about services/amenities. The hotel reception is downright rude. Stay anywhere else if you can. I'm a Hotels Gold VIP member and this is a "VIP property". When booking, it says you get free 2 hour late checkout guaranteed. This was important to me since my flight was later. I got this in the email on booking: "At VIP Access properties, enjoy guaranteed two-hour late check-out and if there’s availability, you can also check-in early." When I asked for this checkout, reception refused, then lied and fought with me for 5 mins that they do not guarantee it even if Hotels does. Break you partnership then? Absolutely disgusting, I will be reporting it to Hotels too.
I had a wonderful experience at the Redbury Hotel on south beach. I encountered your staff member Gabriel who was very friendly, fast check in and easy check out time. The staff were delightful and eager to help! There rooftop pool is beautiful and their Sobe view is breath taking. Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
The room was modernly decorated and comfortable. I loved the pool and bar area! Gabriel was especially accommodating and helped with any questions regarding the surrounding areas. Would definitely stay again.
