Great hotel , clean , good service , fantastic location! Quiet to be on Ocean drive. We loved the corner "apartment" on 3rd floor. Perfect view , though disappointed the windows were not possible to open. Loved the rooftop terrace.
I loved this hotel! Not great curb appeal because of the TGI Fridays in the retail space- but it truly was one of my fav hotels stays in Miami Beach. I booked the PH 1 Bed with the private terrace facing Ocean Drive- and loved my room- wonderful ocean view- great shower- new kitchen. If there was a negative it that the bed was a queen not king and that the people on the roof deck by the pool look over at my terrace. Housekeeping was attentive and William Morales at the front desk was my favorite guest relations person of ANY property I’ve ever stayed in!! Details: didn’t use one of the bikes but saw they were available; took advantage of the late check out for an additional fee; TGI Fridays was cheesy, but the hotel gave me 2 drink coupons so I used them haha; Tommy Bahama beach chairs at reception desk and the sand was a 3 minute walk away; Walgreens, a neighborhood deli, liquor store, grocery, gym and nail salon all within 5 minute walk; 2 blocks back on Collins were dozens of restaurants that weren’t over priced like the tourist places on Ocean Dr; lobby has tea, coffee and water for guest (perfect after my daily runs to be greeted with ice water); common areas spotless. Booked another stay here in March. Usually stay in the resorts in mid-beach or Hallandale- but now the Bentley has captured my heart!…
Fun in the sun on South Beach We just spent a week at the Bentley on south beach 510 ocean dr. Eric, William, Mariano and the whole staff were fantastic. Even though there was construction going on during our stay. Everything was fantastic, the location can’t be beat, short walk to the beach with your free beach chair for the hotel, great restaurants in walking distance too many to count.. But do not miss taking your partner to the Versace mansion for lunch.. The staff went out of there way to make us happy and can’t say enough about them. We do an annual fishing trip to Miami every year This is our new go to Hotel… Roof top pool was a great plus and the new restaurant and bar they are building will put this place even higher on the must go to list. ….Great time will be back next year.…
The best thing about the hotel was its location to the beach, shopping and dinning. The room was large but needs a coat of paint and was shabby. The roof top pool was really just ugly and no service for cocktails. The staff was amazing though and allowed us to use their bikes and lawn chairs on the day we checked out as had a late flight. Overpriced for what you get.
We stayed here 1-4 march. Very good location on south beach. Ocean drive Helpful staff in the lobby. Free Coffee in lobby and room We hadxa Premier room. Quite spacious, small kitchen, fridge and icebox. Coffemaker toast machine you can make a small breakfadt there They let us check out at 12 that was Convenient
Easy walk to restaurants, bars and beach. Vintage hotel room was neat and clean. The bed was lower to the ground than usual. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool has a beautiful view and comfortable lounge chairs with umbrellas. Valet parking is available, but be patient waiting.
This is an overpriced hotel, position is ok but that’s about it. I had tepid warm water and left the hotel because of it and 2 suites having the same issue. Bizarrely the management, who were not even on site to check this, claim the rooms were perfect… they were not. The rooms are also very noisy if you choose ocean facing. There are very few facilities and only one elevator was working too. A poorly maintained property by all accounts. There are many much nicer hotels than this in the same area that are far better run too with way better facilities. Choose something else and don’t be fooled by a website that is very selective with what it shows. I just would choose something other than this and suggest the same for anyone that asks.
What can you ask for? Great, clean spaces, friendly service, immediate follow-up, attentive to every need? Well, we received that and more from Bentley South Beach. Under the friendly and keen command of Manager Eric Jimenez, the Bentley attended to our every need. It's one Ocean Drive, but because it's on the corner of 5th, it is surprisingly calm and quiet. And the beach is just across the street. The household staff is friendly, efficient, careful, and trustworthy. I can wait to rebook for next January
Hotel Bentely should rather go down to legend or undergo a total renovation, what's funny, this renovation is probably carried out all the time because, seven years ago, we stayed at Bentely, then it was also undergoing "renovation" the swimming pool was closed, machine noises, etc. After several stays at South Beach, we chose Bentley from the sentiment of the first stay to see how it looks after the "renovation" And - of course - when arriving we heard that it was still undergoing renovation;))) In short, room 214 suite-deluxe, 1 bedroom 4 people - avoid it. Kitchen-cabinets not closing, dirty, fronts with peeled off laminate. The tap was broken, water was spraying everywhere, the old-fashioned dishwasher was set so that it was impossible to fully open. Refrigerator with out-of-order ice maker. Included water, coffee came only the first day, later you have to ask for everything. Living room - sofa dirty with numerous stains. We put her private blanket on it as the children wanted to sit when watching TV. Place to eat with 2 chairs on which we put towels. We asked for 2 extra chairs, and got dirty plastic ones from the terrace. Old dirty plastic carpet. Bedroom/wardrobe - probably the best place. Big bed, comfortable, clean. Bathroom - a nightmare, cracked tiles on the floor at the entrance to the shower, another towel was put over it so that the children would not hurt their feet. A dripping faucet, a cracked sink inside, a fungus on the wall showing that the defects have been around for a long time. The only thing they fixed was the toilet seat because it was so loose you couldn't sit on it. The door at the handle was very dirty Pool - plastic plants that have already faded from the sun, no place for sunbeds by the pool to be close to the children. Numerous seagulls flocked to the pool, including the jacuzzi. The children used the swimming pool once, after that visit they were sickd all night and did not want to go there anymore. Luckily it was possible to swim in the sea. Attention! the hotel has only beach-chairs/backpack available, no hotel place with sun loungers as it was before. A place in the hotel where children can play chess and parents can enjoy a cup of coffee - the photo on the website is fiction. Summing up, if you are traveling with children who love to swim, you want to be close to beaches, shops, comfort, kitchens, there are many better places on South Beach with 4 or 3 stars. We recommend Boulan, proven several times. Sorry Bentley the service is really nice, but we're not coming back.…
Incredible! If you love a perfect location open air restaurants and a great time plus getting a breather this (guests only) Art Deco Hotel is awesome. We had perfect weather January 1-7 2023 the rooftop pool has unobstructed views of the beach and city with old world charm and the absolute best housekeeping staff. We walked everywhere no need to Uber for all your needs.
