The fact that they were able to cater to everything during a pandemic is amazing , the pool assistant christy is AMAZING and made our trip the more worth it. Every place should have employees like her!

Dear Fredpeguero, Our team so appreciates your kind words! The pool is one of our favorite spots as well. At Faena we know the significance of travel and keeping that experience as sacred and safe as possible. The well-being and safety of our guests is our top priority. We do look forward to the opportunity to welcoming you back to Faena when you can experience the District at its fullest potential! Warmly, Maya

Hotel's Favorite
Opulent, excessive, sensory overload, vibrant are just a few of the words that instantly come to mind when reminiscing about the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach. The hotel is stunning and every corner is different yet there is an overall unity within the grounds. They have stayed true to the art deco history of the area yet somehow made it over the top opulent and it is simply perfection. The beach and facilities are impeccable and pretty exclusive - don't forget all beaches in Miami are technically public so anyone can pass on by, but hotel beach facilities are always only for guests no matter where you stay. The hotel’s lounge chairs are the most plush things ever, and guests are severed fresh lemon water without having to ask for it (luxury without attitude) and get this - guests are treated to a personal foot rinsing service after they retire back to their beach lounger from walking in the sand!!! This just speaks to the level of service guests experience here. Not one aspect is overlooked and all the staff are helpful, pleasant and more than willing. Very few hotels in the world are this good, but that’s just the level of service established by this brand of hotels, unparalleled. The dining scene within the hotel itself is enough to occupy you for a weekend. Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, the famous Argentinian chef (a must when in Mendoza) continues with his tradition an open fire kitchen grilling all the delights, Pao by famed Paul Qui not only serves food that is essentially art, but there's also a Damien Hirst piece towering over the diners and can I just say the service here was beyond outstanding as we walked in super late one night and slowly drank wine for hours and were never rushed out and the Veranda serving casual fare including breakfast makes the best smoked salmon dish - which I still rave about a year later. Also new to the scene is Gitano, which is at the hotel’s smaller guest house property close by, a mexican treat from Tulum that is a must for dinner and late night. While located in Miami Beach, not South Beach, it is a bit further from the action, however, even as two friends on a “girls trip” we barely found ourselves wanting to leave. They have a house car to get you from point A-B so long as its available. The Soho is close so we did venture there for dinner one evening. The spa a bohemian dream, there is a theatre and a private club, the Saxony. Basically its a destination within itself. While is is pricey, I never regretted a cent staying here and would return in a heart-beat.

Dipping my toes back in the travel pool and I’m happy to have chosen Faena to warm these waters! In regards to safety, as soon as you walk into the hotel’s ultra glam lobby there are signs, stickers, masks, and sanitizers that follow you throughout. Every host stand or desk has a shield to block staff and guests, and when it came time for dining and pool all guest seating was separated from each other. Now on to the fun stuff, the hotel itself is something out of a movie. Every inch of the property is a picture moment, including a golden encrusted real life fossil mammoth just casually placed within the grounds. Pro tip I wished I learned earlier, don’t spend all of your time at the pool or beach, there is the most gorgeous spa hidden on one of the floors with the cutest jewelry and clothes for sale. Definitely making the rounds here first to begin my next visit.

We went for a beautiful dinner at Los Fuegos and we were blown away by the ambience, the food and the incredible service! We also went to an Argentine tango show in their intimate theatre and as an Argentine myself I can say this was so beautifully performed in a perfect atmosphere. The most memorable date night I’ve had in years. All in all an absolutely fabulous hotel and a must see when visiting Miami!

When you go for a week with only mind to spend holidays but you re surrounded with a staff that wants to see you spend, sitting on wooden chairs, facing a golden mammoth, dead with no spirit and imported from illegal activities(from russia to south america to end on the flat horizon of SoBe) you may end like like this caged animal, with nothing but gold diggers around and sweat between there eyes. Remember that they serve pizza, and charge 5 times more than dominos for the same quality around the corner, while being the most expensive hotel room in town. Better sweet memories byebye
