This is by far our favorite place to go to in Miami. Charlie Mena is the best. Fonzie Madrid is always smiling and ready to help with whatever we need. He goes above and beyond. We will be back soon. The pool staff is amazing as well. Keith the pool manager is always accommodating as well as JC. The hotel is very clean.
Great Day at the beach Mike was extremely professional and very friendly is there to make sure we had a great time chairs set up towels and cool sunny day in South Beach Miami. Highly recommend going to the 1hotel Inc Zelle Beach come check out the sun and warm weather and ask for Mike to take care of you
Everything went as you would expect - drink and food was great and the staff was accommodating. We were a party of 4 and everyone was pleased on the “check-ins” for drink refills and food. I’m typically hesitant to sit by the beach due to the service quality, but they did a great job here.
I was at the 1Hotel over the weekend and I cannot rave about it enough. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They did an incredible job of making my stay both fun and feel safe (Covid restrictions). The pools are fantastic and the restaurants are delicious. Don't miss the rooftop Watr for drinks and apps if not the whole meal. Asmaa made our dinner an absolute delight. She and her whole team are just the best.
Was excited to visit 1 Hotel South Beach given the strong reviews. Overall it's a good hotel, but below par at this price point. Strengths 1. Stylish decor and ambience, common areas and room furnishings are in good condition 2. Live music in the lobby area on Fri & Sat evenings, wonderful mood and a great place to enjoy a drink 3. Beautiful main pool and rooftop pool areas 4. Friendly beach operations team, including chair service and food service 5. Staff were diligent with respect to COVID-19 precautions. Weaknesses 1. Understaffed front desk. Long wait for check-in and check-out 2. Difficult to enjoy the main pool or rooftop pool since no deck chairs are available -- it's a very large property, with very few chairs. The ones that are available are fully occupied by guests by 9am, and the pool operations team do not enforce the 30min time limit so chairs remain reserved and unoccupied for many hours mid-day 3. Several small details went wrong, signaling poor attention to detail by management: - The automated system texted an incorrect room number upon check-in, so had to wait in the front desk line twice (how can that happen with an automated system?). - No warning that property ID wristbands cannot be loosened once they are tightened, so they have to be cut off (poor design choice) -- but oh wait, there aren't any scissors in the room! - Elevator capacity was insufficient. At least half of the elevator trips had a full elevator, making social distancing impossible for that period of time - The hotel advertises having Teslas as a house car, to shuttle guests within a 3 mile radius. In practice you'll never use it, as none were ever available with less than a 30 minute wait. Would just stop advertising this as a service 4. Complete disconnect between hotel concierge and beach operations team. Hotel concierge was unable to provide any information on cabana or daybed options at the beach, and connected me to a "beach operations manager" via email instead. That person, in turn, was both poorly responsive (days between email replies) and provided incorrect information anyway. You'll just have to try your luck when you visit the beach on the day of your trip. Overall, a lovely hotel but with many noticeable gaps in service levels expected when rooms are over $1,500 per night.…
