From the food to the rooms to the great events put on by Beach Club, this is the place on Miami Beach. The service is impeccable. The breakfast buffet at the Marketplace is the best I have ever enjoyed.

We had a great stay at The Miami Beach Edition. The suite was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the spa, pool and beach area, and the food. The market has excellent food for a casual restaurant. Overall an excellent stay and we will be back.

The Edition is a premium Marriott hotel. While it is sort of "hip" and sort of "cool", it is still a formula hotel. Location is just outside of south beach but walkable to Lincoln Road and S. Ocean Drive. There is also a very good free Miami Beach (thanks Miami Beach!) trolly

Miami Beach Hotels have to be looked under a critical magnifying glass for two reasons: high prices and high competition. Edition is. Four or so years old hotel and it is nice to feel afresh in an area where a lot of the accommodations are dated and in need of refurbishing.

Very Bahamas feeling style hotel Amazing food at Matador room Nice hotel overall with an amazing bowling alley and an ice skating area. Would recommend it if you spend some leisure time in Miami for from the crowded south beach scene

Is there an adult-only pool?
One pool for the families and the other for adults only! I don't know if that's the "rule" but maybe its more unspoken and people tend to follow that.

Hi Richard, the Oceanview King rooms do not have balconies, and I believe they are all on the sides of the main building. You would have to book the Oceanfront King, Double or Suite to get a balcony. All of the Bungalow rooms also have balconies. Hope that helps.

I do not know as I have only used the hotel valet parking. However, there is considerable parking on the street by the hotel and I would suggest you call the hotel directly and ask for the concierge and ask the concierge if there is a public parking lot close by. Btw... the hotel is great!

We had a king size room and they were able to put a rollaway in the room by the window. Only complaint is that the bed was put right in front of where the AC vent is so it was rather chilly sleeping there. Might need to request some extra blankets. However, this was the only place in the room that the bed would fit.
