Historic Hotel, Charming
NUMBER OF ROOMS
Booked for 3 nights but only stayed 2 nights as hugely disappointing experience. Stayed in the Mosaic room and we had loud music coming from the courtyard until the early hours of the morning as they had a private event on. The room interior looked old and dated. When my husband complainted to the manger (Janina Goode) she was useless and blamed the poor service on her staff and told us its difficult to get good people - Shocking Staff are rude and unhelpful. Joseph Day is the General Manager of the Gianni`s, restaurant, he did look after us and thats why i gave this review a one star but honestly they should get a zero The front of house forgot to reserve us a table so when i went down for dinner there was no table and he had to make me one up. The food in fairness was delious and he did look after us that night. This hotel is in the wrong hands as it could be so professionally run. It needs a fresh of new paint, and a different operations manger to run it.…
I suggest to everyone if they visit my yummy to go to that place for dinner it’s amazing beautiful the food is very good prices it’s normal I enjoy it a lot and I will go again. If you want to make romantic dinner for your health is just perfect place in Miami also you have to have a dress code for that place upstairs also it’s hotels you can stay there.
Truly enjoyed the location and great view of the hotel/restaurant. The seating in the restaurant is fabulous with great views for pictures/memories. I was very disappointed in the food taste for the price. Entire party felt way over priced for the quality of food being served.
This villa is incredibly beautiful. We loved our stay and will definitely return. Everywhere you look is stunning beauty. Stained glass windows and doors in the suites. We stayed in the Aviary suite, Versace's niece, Allegra's suite. Parrots everywhere, she loved birds. We toured Gianni's suite and it was unbelievable. We are going to stay in the Gianni suite on our next visit. Food was delicious. Service was superb. The staff is very attentive and makes sure you're happy. Loved every moment!!
We went for a lunch and thinking that we can make a reservation for September anniversary. Unfortunately they returned our calls after 15 days. Lunch was not even decent but the way they handle this magnificent place is heartbreaking and traumatically upsetting. They clearly don’t care the essence of what Versace tried to do and keep there. The management’s wild capitalism focus killed completely the soul of Versace home and what it meant to him. We understand that the new owner(s) are there to make money. However, everybody feels that the management is way far away from Versace mind and European elegancy. If you want to go to see the remarkable swimming pool, it is fine otherwise you will regret trashing your money. Only 1 cup of coffee is $10. Be prepared to pay at least $120, minimum for a light lunch after tax and %22 tips.…
