One of the best experiences in Miami. The mansion is beautiful with lots of rooms and places to discover, especially the area by the pool. The food was also very nice, with many options for different tastes. We had a lovely time there and would definitely go back.

Without a doubt, this is a beautiful setting. It was originally built in the 1930s and updated since that time. I am glad we got to experience it. However, it really should just be a tourist attraction and not a hotel. After 11 am, it is open to the public until midnight so, as a guest, you get very little relaxation and have nowhere to go in the hotel but your room. The bellboys were great, but about the only ones out of all the staff who were not attentive. Also, you should note people with mold allergies should not consider this location because all but two hotel rooms smell like mold.

The Villa Casa Casuarina is the former home of Versace. It’s is very opulent and frankly stunning. We stayed in the Venus Suite which is amazing and very sizeable with balconies to the South Beach side and also to the stunning pool. The bar and restaurant are fantastic as is the service. Love the place and will be back again!

I had no idea that old Versace Mansion was now the Villa Casa Casaurina. I researched this once I found it walking and made a lunch reservation as dinner reservations were booked well in advance. Note: you NEED a reservation, even for lunch or they'll turn you away at the door. I was even happier when I got in and was told it was a $34 pris fixe menu that nearly mirrored the dinner menu. Appetizer, entree and dessert for only $34 when I had planned on this being a splurge for one entree! So I ordered drinks ;) The spinach ricotta ravioli were exceptional and the key lime pie was possibly the best I've ever had. The 24k margarita was festive and very good. I'd definitely recommend this location for lunch - and for dinner but you can't beat the lunch deal. The venue was exceptional too. If you like fashion history good but regardless, the mosaics and pool made this a lovely afternoon. Enjoy your lunch while watching Versace aficionados don their bold patterns and line up by the pool for selfie after selfie.

I stayed here for two nights for my birthday weekend. It was an excellent experience. But the one thing that prompted me to write a review was Ciara. She was warm and welcoming and really put effort into her job. She is the example of what hospitality and customer service should be. Thank you for accommodating us.

The villa and staff are an absolute treat. Beautiful and charming all around. We stayed 2 nights and ate 1 breakfast and 1 dinner at he restaurant. Everything was delicious. They sent a bottle of presto to the room for us and catered to our multiple requests for ice, beach towels etc. Thanks to Sierra, Marcos and staff

I came to Miami for the 4th of July weekend. When trying to visit the Versace Mamsion around 3:30 pm to have a drink at the bar and explore, I was told I was not allowed in without a reservation. I was not told I was able to come back at 5:30pm when they reopened and have a drink at the bar without a reservation. The woman at the front door gave me the impression that I was not welcomed here I presume because I was White. When I called to speak to the manager to them of her unprofessional behavior I was told they were not available. Don't spend your money or waste your time here.

Liked · Design of the Villa is beautiful, The craftsmanship of the mosaics is amazing, architecture and the interior design of the suites are wonderful. (However now, it's a restaurant with some spare suites the restaurant could not use to serve food so it's rented as a "hotel".) Food: very good Dinner was decent. Our server was very nice and attentive. Breakfast: we were ignored for a bit (pool area), then all of us - 5 people, were relocated due to a canopy repair- just over us. Dirt and rust were falling on us, then ignored again for 20 + minutes, as the other group of 3 people had precedent ( maybe VIPs??? Maybe not) Breakfast food was good otherwise. Disliked · Staff: Arrogant, aloof staff, we were ignored or barely tolerated as hotel guests. (Mostly very young pretty ladies.) Everything revolves around the restaurant as it's the main money maker. Very noisy until 1am, staff shouting, laughing, clearing dishes etc. preparing for the next day - completely ignoring that we're sleeping just next to them behind the door, Our walkway to our room was always rope closed and even if the staff person stood by, they did not make an effort to help. Service: We called at 12:30 at night to ask for the staff to be quiet, nobody picked up the phone. The next morning at 8 am the hotel had floor sanded in the next room, just behind our headboard. We specifically asked for a quiet room ahead of the stay. No Beach or Pool service: Pool - if you think that you can use a pool, you can if you can squeeze between the dining tables that crowd every square inch of what used to be a pool area and then go dripping to no chair, no lounge chair- maybe they would give us extra towels?? (Only 2 bath towels per stay per couple in our bathroom.) So we asked about the beach cabanas or lounge chairs and we were offered portable beach chairs to bring with us. Seriously? And people taking selfies everywhere.
