What a delightful Hotel! All staff go above and beyond to provide the best service - and then go beyond that. The food in Seawell fish n oyster? Five stars. The ambience, the outdoor spaces, all beautiful and designed with comfort in mind. Its low key - not ostentatious - takes a day or two to realize just how perfect everything is. Hotel's Favorite
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very clean hotel, friendly staff and its location is perfectly placed in South Beach. Also has a rooftop pool and happy hour for sangria/wine (free of charge) which was also a nice touch. Could honestly not fault it and would highly recommend!

Very elegant and nice place to stay in south miami beach! The Staff were so amazing! We loved Patricio. The rooftop pool was lovely. We had a double queen/full bed room with a balcony. They provide almost everything for you. The hotel has loner bikes to borrow but also uber isn't bad around.

What a great Hotel to stay in, we were so well looked after and the staff were always available to help. We had a late night call for a fire alarm. All was well and so well looked after. When we were booking out Hussien L. gave us a discount for our late night excursion.

I can't write enough good things about this hotel. I do not usually leave reviews but the service was but the staff at Kimpton really went above & beyond. Hossain, Chawki, Gabriel & Luciana were all pleasant and super helpful. They were very accommodating of our early check-in & late check-out, were forgiving when we misplaced/forgot our key cards (multiple times) and were generous with their time: be it explaining certain rules or helping us out with luggage, etc. We stayed here for a girls' weekend & it was a carefree trip in large part thanks to their welcoming attitude. The beds were comfortable, the cleaning service is impeccable and the rooftop pool is a great place to lounge around. The food at the restaurant next to Kimpton is also great! The location can't be beat either: less than 2 mins away from the beach. Will definitely be staying here when I go back to Miami!…

I travel very often and am relatively unproblematic. In fact, I have never had such a bad experience at any property before that I felt the need to write a review. Now on to my experience... it started off bad and just continued to go downhill. I was flying in on a red eye so I called the hotel well in advance to say I would be arriving at 4AM and would very much appreciate if a room could be arranged at the time. I was told that the arrangements would be made. I reached the hotel at 5AM and was told by the guy at the front desk that there are no rooms available and all the rooms are booked. He said the best he could do was put my room in front of the housekeeping queue who come in at 9AM so a room could be arranged by 11AM at the earliest. I was not offered any water or any advice on where I, a solo girl, could wait in peace for the next 6 hours. I took it in my stride and waited in the lobby until their restaurant next door opens at 8AM. 11AM comes around and I head back to the front desk to get an update on my room. I am now told by two different people that check out barely begins at 2PM so the earliest a room could be ready for me would be 4PM (apparently the housekeeping who come in at 9AM takes 7 hours to prep rooms for new guests). They offer no apology and just claim that this is the best they can do. OK - I decide to just hang out at the beach until 4PM. I come back at 4PM finally exhausted from waiting for a room for 12 hours now and am told the room I booked is unavailable but they will try to find me an available room. While I am waiting for an available room, two couples come and check in, and are led to their rooms. Finally, a "suite" is made available for me and I am ready to just put all of this behind me. It is not a "Suite" by any standards - in fact just a normal king room that is also grossly old looking. This room was in the building next door so I am not sure if the rooms in the actual hotel are better. I get to this so-called suite, and the floor is all scratched up. The room does not look remotely luxurious or clean, you would think Kimpton has a certain standard. I just didn't want to engage and go back to the front desk so I decide to keep this room. The hotel is in a great location and as a solo girl, I did not feel unsafe at any time. However, the pros stop right there. Even though they offer free coffee/tea in the morning and a wine bar in the evening, what is the point if the service is so terrible and the room is of a 2 star quality. I really do hope the rooms in the main building are nicer. Finally my stay comes to an end and the vendor I booked through included a $150 credit as part of my stay. I confirm this at check out. Yet one week later, I see three different charges on my credit card. I called the hotel to see why I was charged when these three would easily be covered under the $150 credit. I'm told by Anthony that he sees a credit on their end and that my credit card should show a charge and then a credit. I told him in many different ways that all I see are charges and no credit. He simply does not understand so I am now forced to dispute this through my credit card company. Staying at this hotel has been an exhausting experience both during my stay and now even after. I loved the hotel!!! Great rooms. Great pools. Great location. Staff was very attentive. Hussein and Chawki were super helpful in making sure I was happy with my room as well as my entire stay. I willl definitely stay here again. It was a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay first week of March at Kimpton Angler’s in South Beach. From the friendly and most helpful front desk staff to the great location, the cleanliness, the pleasant atmosphere, the stylish, chic decor, it all adds up to perfection. Just two blocks from Ocean Drive and the beautiful beach, short walking distance to the Art Deco Welcome Center or to the South Pier Pointe. So great that the hotel provides the beach towels, bag and umbrella, comes in handy when you fly in only with your carry-on. Also, thank you for the icy water and the lemonade offered daily in the lobby and at the rooftop pool. Thank you, Anthony, for making us feel welcome! Would love to go back!

The reason that I only gave 4 not 5 stars is that we had a room on Washington Avenue this was noisy, more noisy at 3am than during the day, not sure if we were just unlucky but we did have difficulty sleeping. The staff were really good and arranged for us to have a late check out even though they were extremely busy. The room was nice, but two things make this hotel stand out, one is location to South Beach the other is the roof top bar and pool. Would definitely return.
