Sunday drag queen host "BONIE BUILDER" is rude and disrespectful. His/her approach to clients/community is contemptuous, the lack of respect is appalling. I was approached by her/he out of the blue and she openly offended me for no reason. If you are planning to spend a nice Sunday having a drink with friends don't go to this place where you may be discriminated irrationally. Although she/he came and apologized, I wanted to make sure no one else is treated such way. Thank you to several other staff who supported me in pursuing this compliant. No member of our LGBT should be going through this unpleasant experience.
I've stayed from November 9th up to 14th and had an amazing time. This is a great hotel, complimentary breakfast fulfilled my expectations. The room was pretty spacious, comfortable bed, nice flat TV and good bathroom amenities. I loved the fact that the room has a mini fridge so I kept all my beers and sodas cold. I stayed in room 2120 which is located above the bar. The sauna gets interesting especially on weekends around 6 pm. Thank you guys, Roberto, Magda, Gabe, Angel and all the staff; you made me feel so happy, comfortable and as if I was home. Can't wait to be back again.
The Gathering is a quirky boutique adults-only hotel that is friendly and welcoming to people of different backgrounds from all over the world . The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Towels and linen were clean and luxurious. Housekeeping was excellent! The breakfast and cocktails were really good and unique and the service from Gabe, Zach, the barman and all the other staff members was amazing! Thanks guys, hope to see you again.
Loved my quick weekend stay - camp alone In the shared rooms: - very clean - quiet - breakfast is delicious - staff is so helpful and friendly - sauna is a great place to Kick back and relax. - the bar is so much fun and the drinks are excellent - complementary bikes to go hit the beach / drink cooler you can borrow Great little hotel! Will be back soon. KY
Super stylish and very spacious room at half the price, the room above the bar is a great deal! It was not at all noisy during my stay. I love the atmosphere, the privacy, and when you're in the mood, you can just join the fun at the bar. The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met in Miami. Will definitely stay again here next time I'm in town!
I was there for 3 nights during pride weekend. nice place, nice stuff, clean rooms and public areas and busy (good!!) spa. The only minuses: no pool, far from the beach and the price for the parking is higher for booking.com reservations.
We chose this spot because our last minute travel, during the crowded Spring Break season, meant it was one of the few available. Some of the online info left my daughter concerned, but a call to the front desk put us at ease, and our 2 night stay surpassed our expectations. Terrific, helpful, friendly informed staff made all the difference- we visited the farmers\flea market, biked to the beach, saw Wynwood Walls, (and the free Botanic Gardens) ate at their excellent recommendations and had a fabulous visit. Our room was big, comfy, fully stocked with all we could want- and the decor was a hoot! Much love to this place for making our first Miami stay memorable. (bikes and breakfast included)
I booked a last minute weekend trip to South Beach. I was apprehensive since it was the height of Spring Break. And I was flying solo. What a breath of fresh air this Hotel was! Located on the quiet side of the island, I could bike or Uber to the beach in minutes, and there was everything on site to keep me relaxed and entertained. Walk to restaurants and shops, while an afternoon away at a French cafe on Calle Espanol. The staff is friendly yet discreet, the rooms are beyond fabulous (a friend who was staying in a nearby AirBnB gaped when he saw my room), and the crowd at the bar is friendly. I will definitely come back to the Gaythering and recommend it my friends. Just not the Spring Breakers!
This was my second stay at the property and the quality of the service has not changed. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. What makes Gaythering a great place to stay is 1) it’s pet friendly (no additional fee) and 2) the location. It is walking distance to many of the restaurants and shops in South Beach. Gaythering is my go to place to stay when I’m South Beach!
We stayed one night in a "Fun King" in mid-January 2022. Upon arriving a bit early, we were able to leave bags with the hotel before heading out to enjoy South Beach. Check-in was easy later in the day, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable, outfitted with both standard amenities and assorted fun time accoutrement. (Only recommendation would be to add an iron/ironing board in room!) It was a tad loud overnight, but the energy and fun vibes of the stay outrank leisurely sleep at this particular specialty hotel. With respect to the property overall, the place is clean, well kept and welcoming! We found bar service to be quick. The sauna provided great, entertaining recreation. The Sunday Fun Day activities were fun to watch. Breakfast service was a nice bonus. The staff are accommodating professionals who work to create a positive experience for property guests. Part of what we most love about Hotel Gaythering, and what most motivates our assured return, is the spirit of camaraderie and openness that greets all guests.…
