Nice location, nice hotel, nice lobby, okay rooms, in need of maintenance. Seems to attract a party crowd that is hard on the place. Good service. Okay restaurants. Great beach access. Close to Lincoln ave for great walking.

Hotel's Favorite
We had the chance to stay at this location based on a recommendation from a family member. We were not disappointed. The facility and staff made sure to emphasize cleanliness and safety during this interesting time that we are in. They did require and enforce their policy on wearing masks while on-site and travelling from one spot to the next (i.e. room to pool). The staff was on top of it and made sure to remind folks to wear them and if the patron did not have one, they would offer one to them. In addition, all staff wore masks at all times. Every single one of them. From the front desk to the staff working the beach. We enjoyed the pool environment and the beach throughout our stay. That is inclusive of the food and the drinks. The prices were a little high but we expected that and it didn't necessarily shock us. The pool service was excellent and we always had a server checking on us at the right time to make sure that we were taken care of. The service on the beach was a little slower so I wouldn't say it was excellent, but it was still pretty good. They had a lot of ground to cover so again, we expected it to be a little slower. While on the beach, it was clean and seemed to be well maintained. Chairs are complementary and if you wanted anything additional like an umbrella or even a cabana, those prices seemed to be very reasonable as you rented them for the entire day while being able to come and go as you please. We stayed in a room that had a partial ocean view w/balcony and it definitely served it's purpose. As a couple we had plenty of space to leave our bags, hang up and store our clothing, and do anything else we needed. The room was clean and the bathroom had a nice shower with plenty of space. They are NOT doing their normal housekeeping/turn-down services due to COVID but you could request those needs and they were quick to accommodate our needs. We requested more towels and they responded quickly by bringing us a new set of towels and they took away our used ones. My wife did get a massage during our stay and she stated that it was wonderful. She ended up getting a 60-minute deep tissue massage and she stated that the person who gave the massage listened to what she wanted and was using all safety precautions during the entire service. She was required to wear a mask and the masseuse wore a mask & gloves throughout. She said she wish she had booked more time as it was the best massage she had in a long time. Overall...we really enjoyed our stay. It cannot be easy to run a large facility like that while maintaining the safety of staff and patrons. By our observations they did everything they could to ensure that all were safe at all times. WE WILL recommend this location to others and we would absolutely stay there again in the future.

Even with the hotel boasted a recent renovation, you can clearly see the age of the hotel once you get into the room. I was in a suite and the furniture was dated, stain, and had tears. There was also a smoky smell in the room that got into our clothes and hair. Do not book the King Jr suite with the oceanfront view, it is a total ripoff. From the balcony you have a partial view that is actually facing toward another hotel you must turn horizontal on the balcony to see the ocean. I assume the ocean front view is from the small oddly placed window that is in the bedroom area. From the bed you cannot even see that view you must get up and squeeze into the corner with the chair and fight with the curtains to look. There are many other hotels on the beach with better prices and rooms, I would not stay here again

First off I never write reviews but after meeting Jorge at the Loews Hotel on Miami beachfront I would be remiss if I didn’t share my experience. First off we checked in late last night/early morning. My flight was delayed and other issues with the plane which caused my checkin to by pushed back. I texted the customer service/Shan (thank you) line and was informed that my room would not be canceled. My check-in experience was quick and easy-thank you Ben at the front desk and I was offered discounts for the Spa! Today we enjoyed a breakfast at Prestons everything was perfect and all proper precautions were made to reassure me. Everything was individually wrapped and the service was flawless!!! Then we spent two hours pool side listening to great upbeat music from the female DJ.....it was just the right tempo! The strawberry mojitos was superb! We decided to go to the beach and was greeted by Jorge!! He instantly relaxed me as I was nervous about sitting beachside. He was personally and friendly!! He shared places to eat and offered excellent customer service to my husband and I. This experience has been wonderful and the great start to an unforgettable birthday weekend! Thank you to the Loews team.....we will be returning with our family soon!!! Excellent service and a great hotel!!! You will not be let down. Ask for Jorge if you choose to go to the beach!!!
