We resided at the Casablanca for several weeks. We had a nice stay but we needed to complain about the music they are playing non-stop outside the restaurant and outside the terrasse by the pool. It is WAY too loud, too much bass, the bad taste of genre for a Hotel and residence like hardcore electro and Getto Rap. The youngsters are playing music and screaming all night long like they never sleep. We can't even sleep! The bass and music are so loud, we can hear it within the building in the room even several floors upper the terrasse. It would've been better appreciated like in more trendy Hotels music like Chill lounge, Deep Lounge, Deep-House, summer chill lounge with lower bass that does not make the whole building resonate and shake. A lot of people complaining daily about it outside by the pool where they try to have a good time and relax and also lots of residents we've talked about also complaining. It doesn't make anyone comfortable to go to the restaurant or order to eat on terrasse. The music doesn't make any sense. Hope the managers look into this problem to fix it. It would help their Hotel business and restaurant and would be more enjoyable for everyone.

We booked two rooms through Airbnb for a girls trip May this year. The pictures displayed are not what you get. The hotel was run down and dirty. The entire hotel smelled like pot, several floors, trash and food laying in the halls, lobby, elevator, raw eggs broken laying around the pool outside. The air did not work in one of the rooms and none of the safes in either room worked. Doors are flimsy and could have been easily pushed or kicked in. Hotel was very run down. Some of the pics on Airbnb were actually of the property next to this one that is NOT the Casablanca. We also prepaid for parking. We checked in and after spending 3 hours decided to leave due to dirty, rundown hotel which we felt was an unsafe environment. We witnessed drug use and out of control behavior in the hotel. When we checked out we asked that our parking be reimbursed for the remaining 3 days. They told us they could not make that decision and to call the manager Mr. Schecher who needless to say we could not reach & I have tried at least 8+ times. Even though we never stayed one night here we could only get back about $600 (less than 1/2) but to me it was worth not staying here! If the price is too good to be true it is for a reason.

If you want a budget spot right on the beach, this is your place. It is an old property, and this shows the most with the pool. It needs to completely redone. Your experience will vary based on the apartment you stay in. The apartments are individually owned. Ours was clean, but it also was old. Parking is extra.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS NOT SAFE. i stayed here with a few friends. we booked through airbnb and immediately when we got there it was bad vibes. when we got to the room we automatically felt like it was a setup. first of all, there was a keypad rather than an actual key. RED FLAG. when first leaving to go find food, we were harrassed by mutiple men, felt like we were being watched, and were catcalled multiple times. when we got to the restaurant, there were people outside waiting for us to leave. after making it back to hotel, we realized that there were SO MANY “workers”, all dressed the same and acting sketchy. we got into the elevator and was followed in by a man who proceeded to wait until we pressed our floor so he could press the floor above. we ended up getting out on the wrong floor to try and create a diversion, while he waited on the elevator for us. so we had to pretend we had a room on that floor until he went away. weird right? also, the windows did not lock. there was very easy access to our room from the roof and the roof was easy to climb on. the airbnb room was not as pictured, nobody was on the beach that was in front of our rooms, in SPRING BREAK in MIAMI, also weird right? our roommates were also followed to the room so we barricaded ourselves in and tried to figure out a plan of escape. the two people in our group who connected to the wifi started experiencing hacks, and no service immediately after connecting, so we had to rely on the one phone that wasn’t connected to the wifi. there were extremely weird vibes, and we felt that there were probably cameras in the room watching us as well. PLEASE STAY SAFE AND BEWARE. the reviews on airbnb are a SCAM. the entire hotel is a scheme, it was not safe, and we did not even stay the night, we left as soon as our uber could arrive. and never turned back.
