The Savoy Hotel Miami Beach is often commended for its cleanliness and prime location, with guests consistently appreciating its proximity to the beach and South Beach's attractions. However, opinions on value are less favorable, as many travelers find the costs steep without corresponding high-quality amenities.
While some guests encounter attentive service and enjoy the stylish decor, others are frustrated by poor soundproofing in rooms, disorganization, and lackluster issue resolution. The hotel's atmosphere receives a mixed response, with its vintage charm sometimes overshadowed by noise and outdated facilities.

Service, Service & Service at the Highest level. One may think I'm biased because I met the new owner while dining at his restaurant last year. Everytime I'm in SoBe I make a stop at Santorini by Georgio. The service there is the best and when he told me he was getting the Savoy, my first thought was the service will be fantastic. He has not disappointed us. The rooms are fantastic, no matter the view, and you're simply inches from the beach and can walk to all the famed SoBe spots. Lincoln Road is a nice walk if you're up for that or just rent a bike or scooter. Everything in between is literally a stone's throw including Santorini. I'm trying the breakfast in the morning and will report back.
Update: Had the well appointed Continental breakfast. I'm certain when they get the restaurant reopened there will be more space to comfortably display the fresh fruits, baked goods and fresh Greek yogurt. Everything was displayed with a classy touch and everyone on staff wants you to know they're "at your service".
This point should not be lost on you. Traveling as much as I do, there's a seemingly "new normal" of complacency among customer service "professionals". What the owners of Savoy have done is amassed a diverse and beautiful set of souls with a spirit of Honorable Customer Service. From Lee at the valet, Alex & Freddie at the front desk, Albert, Chantal and the very talented F&B manager Umit, you will completely InJoy your stay at the Savoy. They will see to it.

Our first visit to Miami after seeing many parts of the world. We are now enamored with the area and especially the Savoy.
First, the beach club. We met Bruno who is turning the outdoor area (pool, decks, beach chairs) worthy of the location of the hotel. Every single person working at the pool that we encountered was more than happy to make sure we were taken care of. The views from the deck looks out over the beach and water. This place is on par with anywhere we’ve ever stayed here n the Caribbean, California or Mediterranean. Need something? Ask Bruno or his crew.
The hotel did not disappoint either. The overall size is just right and recent renovations are throwback Miami chic. The rooms are gigantic and you just can’t beat the value. Very clean. Alex and her crew were very accommodating to our requests and went out of their way to make sure all was good.
We got a tip that you either want to be south of fifth or north of 17th. The Savoy is on the edge of the action but away from the younger crowd doing their thing. Easy walk to multiple high class restaurants, super easy Uber pick up in front of hotel too.
I would buy stock in the Savoy if it was a public company. We will be back for sure.

This is without question one of the most beautiful and relaxing hotels I have ever had the privilege of visiting not only in Miami, but arguably in all of south Florida. Everything about this hotel is top notch, from the private beach that is secluded from others, to the beautiful hotel grounds including the pool area, to the hotel rooms which are large and very spacious grand suites that can accommodate and comfort even the pickiest of travelers. The staff is fantastic from the front desk to the manager - they went out of their way to help us out with all of our needs! The prices are competitive for the amenities and amount of luxury provided and the location right in the heart of South Beach is convenient for all travelers. I highly recommend the beautiful Savoy for anyone looking to have a magnificent stay in South Beach!

From check in to check out, The Savoy was a truly magnificent experience. This comfy boutique hotel is brimming with class, and was the perfect way to spend a weekend away in south beach. Be it the fantastic rates, the welcoming staff or trendy pool bar (the bartender by the pool was amazing, and needed no help in conjuring some of the best tasting fresh fruit mojitos we’ve had), The Savoy is a place I will not hesitate to visit again when visiting Miami. We spent 2 nights in a very clean, sun soaked second floor suite, made possible by the ever accommodating Georgio (consider it a bonus if you’re able to spend a few minutes with this part owner of the hotel, his charm and inviting demeanor made this trip even better than it should have been). Dining; we spent the first night having dinner and drinks at Georgio’s true to form Green restaurant, Santorini (within walking distance and highly recommend), before enjoying some authentic Colombian cuisine at La Ventana on the second night (another must try, and within walking distance of the hotel). Can not say enough about our stay, you can’t go wrong with The Savoy!

I booked direct through the hotel and expected so much more based on the reviews posted on TA. Sadly, we were disappointed for a number of reasons including our room, which we were promised a pool/beach view and had a view of the street and were kept up until 4am each morning by traffic and noise.
When we arrived, there was no one to greet us or help with our bags. The gentleman on staff was aloof and never around during our stay. No one answers the phone during the evening hours and room service for simple items was virtually non-existent.
Unfortunately, the staff lacks proper professional training. This was evident throughout our stay. Staff seemingly interacting with themselves instead of seeing to the needs so their guests.
Manager conducted unprofessional discussions in front of guests and worst of all, the pool areas were not cleaned appropriately. For example, while everything “looked clean” when you viewed from the resort, in the pool, you could see clearly that the pool beds hadn’t been moved in weeks because there was empty plastic cups and garbage strewn throughout underneath. This was evident during our entire stay and a real turnoff.
Nice location. Nice beach area. Good bar staff despite poor resort/hotel management. Overall, poor management, poor front staff, and poor customer service with poor training. Front desk staff needs training and hotel manager needs to understand how to deliver on promised accommodations.

Hotel is beautiful , suites very well decorated, perfect location, very nice pool area and on the beach. Staff is mostly super friendly: at the pool, at the beach, cleaning people, front desk such as Daniela, George and another woman with brown hair. We loved the location because it is close to many high end restaurants at south pointe ; it is close to the art deco district (we were surprised that many people hanging out there, especially the evening, are very vulgar and tons of people smoke, very disappointing).
Word of advice, make yourself and the hotel a favor: if you book over the phone or via text message, please, to avoid any upsetting and humiliating experience, request an email with not only a confirmation number, but also the check in and check out dates, the exact price, resort fees, the exact taxes. And call a few days prior to your arrival to make sure everything is in order. If you make any changes, do not trust over the phone or text is enough, request a confirmation via email. If you need to speak to someone, call the mornings, staff is friendly.

My girlfriend and I (youthful gals in our late 60s) spent two nights here in room 324 - a great room on the third floor with enough space for a rollaway bed for my friend. We had a few hiccups with unusually cold weather in January necessitating the heater to be turned on. Well, it didn’t work, so two portable heaters were brought up. These caused the breakers to switch off because of too much electricity. So it was very cold that night; fortunately, the following night was warm enough not to use heaters. Other minor suggestions to the hotel: place a trash bin next to the beverage center for cups, bottles, etc.; replace the little espresso maker that only yields lukewarm coffee with a Keurig coffee maker. We communicated these concerns to the Manager who was very open to our suggestions. We also were compensated for the hassle of the heaters. We definitely recommend staying here!

Our experience and stay at The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club was nothing but exceptional! I was celebrating my 40th birthday and wanted my group of friends to stay somewhere beautiful, private and charming. The Savoy was all that and more! It all started when I called The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club directly and met Mariela! Her energetic, outgoing, and infectious personality from day one made my birthday an unforgettable occasion for all of us! She ensured fresh flowers, champagne and gifts for my guests were perfectly set up in their suites prior to our arrival! From the moment we entered the hotel Mirela made our experience better than any 5-star hotel we’ve stayed at. Additionally, the new remodeled suites were exceptionally spotless and fresh. And let me add the pillows and oversized beds were remarkably comfy. It doesn’t end there; the entire staff at The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club made us feel like celebrities! They were very welcoming and outgoing! Wallace, George, Daniela, Francisco, Kenier, and Christos just to name a few went above and beyond during our stay! The pools were sparkling and relaxing. The larger pool allowed us to swim laps and get a great workout! You’ve got to visit The Tiki Hut Poolside Bar where they make the BEST Lemon Drops! You’ve to try their delicious and tasting Lemon Drop! Furthermore, The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club’s location was ideal for us! Many attractions and features were walking distance from the many Ocean Drive restaurants and activities to the beautiful walks to the South Pointe Park Pier. Finally, let me end with the beach. The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club is just steps away from the beautiful soft sandy beach with awaiting sun loungers and umbrellas just for us! There was an additional Savoy Bar on the beach as well! The ocean water was calm and at the perfect warm but pleasant temperature! The waters were so clear you could see shells and occasionally see fish swim by. You can bet The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club is a destination we will return to soon! Thank you Savoy for making my 40th Birthday an unforgettable occasion!

Even before arriving at the hotel, we received prompt and professional feedback from Claudia. I asked about the availability of the type of room we needed and she quickly let us know that she would be able to accommodate us. This is after another hotel cancelled our reservation without contacting me.
Our room had two balconies overlooking the beautiful guitar-shaped pool. In addition to being super clean, there was a coffee machine and mini-fridge in the room. The king sized bed was clean and comfortable.
The Savoy also offered free breakfast daily. Of course, following CDC guidelines, it was boxed breakfast with fruit and bagels. There is also a coffee machine in the lobby and ice cold water. The architecture in the lobby is beautifully historic with plenty of seating if waiting for an Uber or friends.
The hotel is located at 4th and Ocean which makes it walking distance to restaurants, the beach, Walgreens and CVS (both of which have fully stocked wine and spirits sections).
The beach is just steps from the door of the Savoy. It is one of the few hotels actually on the beach, so you do not have to cross the street to get to the beach. Included in the room rate are beach chairs, towels and an umbrella, The beach staff were amazing. While we were on the beach, they took our lunch order and brought us an additional chair. I was totally impressed when the beach manager remembered my name after only one day.
All staff at the Savoy are friendly and helpful. George, Jennifer and Irani were very helpful during our stay. They reminded us of the curfew, masks, suggested places to eat and always had a smile for us. Despite the fact that the coronavirus has changed things all over, even in Miami, we got to do what we came there to do. We sat on the beach, enjoyed the ocean and ate good food.
We cannot wait until we return to the Savoy when we can stay in our special room. We loved our stay!

It’s a small hotel. I have stayed there for 6 years now for 1 week in February. Recently they have raised their prices. But it is very close to the beach and doesn’t have the major road between it and the beach. I have stayed through the years in single rooms and last year stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. I would say the 3rd floor has the best view. So if you get a single ocean view room on the 3rd floor it’s good. There are a couple palm trees but it’s a nice view.
It should automatically give you access to the pool. Beach access is public and free. I'd call hotel to confirm about pool to ensure there's no hidden rules, but from my understanding that's how one gets access. Enjoy!
There is pool bar that provides excellent breakfast and lunch. However, a restaurant across the street has more variety. We used that facility many times during our stay. There are also several excellent restaurants within the proximity of the hotel.
I googled it and I read that Florida Spring Break ends on March 12 so it appears that you will arrive after
