Paying tribute to the vibrant culture and colorful history and glamour of Miami with sophisticated ease, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is your gracious host to the most exotic place in America. The influence of coastal Latin America is weaved throughout Fuego y Mar, the resort's main restaurant. Dishes draw from Mexican, Cuban, Venezuelan and Colombian cuisines, made with fresh, simple ingredients. The spirit of South Beach’s classic cocktail bars of years past is alive and thriving at Lapidus Bar. Guests will be greeted with bronze and brass accents, tableside cocktails and live music. Balance is both sought and delivered at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, South Beach. Based on a mindfulness approach to wellness, the spa offers holistic treatments, many incorporating indigenous South Florida ingredients, and journeys designed to promote rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. In February 2021, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach received the Sharecare VERIFIED™ with Forbes Travel Guide badge by completing and maintaining verification on more than 360 global health security standards.

I checked in after midnight and my room - I‘ve got even an upgrade - was very tiny with no balcony, which I requested. Front desk was not very helpful but held in prospect that I could move the next day. The next morning I went again to front desk and was promised a better room in the afternoon. I left the hotel and was told just to pick up the new key in the evening. When I returned to the hotel, nobody knew anything about the room change. Luckily I met Muanfun Bilecky - she was sooo helpful and caring. Very shortly, I had a new room and my vacation started. Thank you Muanfun! I just love the location of the Ritz and the outstanding beach. The beds are extremely comfortable and my spacious room is very clean. I used to come to Miami Beach for 30 years and tried many different hotels but somehow I always come back to the Ritz. Only four stars from me because I was not satisfied with the service at all before I met Muanfan.

If you can put up with the constantly pulsing dance music and a bit of eclectic craziness this property is with the stop. Great location in Lincoln Ave. Love the beach. Pool area is a bit crowded. Service was outstanding. Not cheap but had a nice visit

My family of four stayed for two nights and enjoyed it tremendously. We had a room with two queen beds and extra sitting area. It was a large room and large bathroom with double sinks. The pool area was great. Derick at the pool is an amazing employee! Every employee we came in contact with was very helpful and pleasant. Location was very central.

Excellent beach side service from Isaac, he is a star. The hotel is heavenly. I felt like a Queen. Plus there is free ice cream ❤️ Drinks could be stronger, especially for the price paid, but otherwise no complaints. If you want to luxuriate, this is the place to stay.

The hotel's recent renovation is very stylish, although in some areas they fail to deliver on a luxury experience First the good: -The new renovation is gorgeous. You walk into the lobby, and you think wow, Miami glam. Ditto in the rooms. You walk in, and they look great. -The food is excellent. You could eat every meal in the hotel and be a happy camper. -The pool service is great. At so many resort hotels getting pool service is a major frustration. Here it's a joy. They check on you every 5 minutes and your glass will never be empty. -In fact all of the service is top notch. Every staff member I interacted with (check in, bellman, restaurant, pool, maids) were just lovely. Competent (which is unusual in Miami hotels!) and hit the right balance of professional and personable. -They still have well-stocked minibars. These were casualties of the pandemic at so many hotels. Thank god not this one. There are few pleasures greater than raiding the minibar late at night while watching a movie in your hotel room. But why 1 star, not 5: -No daily housekeeping. I stayed here in June 2021, and at this point in the pandemic, the idea that no housekeeping is somehow happening for the safety of the maids is absurd. Clearly, all the maids they have are spending all day long cleaning rooms, just as many rooms per day as they were cleaning pre-pandemic. They are just employing fewer maids so that they can save money. I don't believe that there are a bunch of maids sitting around somewhere not cleaning rooms "for their safety". It is completely unacceptable to spend $800/night for a base room (over Memorial Day weekend) and have to get into a bed at night that is a massive jumble of sheets and duvets and chaos. This is not a luxury experience. Minus 3 stars for this. -Minus 1 more star for some style-over-substance design decisions in the rooms. They have beds with curved headboards that look gorgeous. Stunning design. Unfortunately, the result is that it's impossible to reach the bedside table or the light switches from the bed. You literally have to get out of bed to turn off the lights or get a drink of water from your glass on the bedside table. -Why is there no desk in the room? My room (1101) was huge and just had a giant empty space and a decorative screen where a desk should have been. There was so much space, yet there was so little furniture. The only place to sit was on the bed basically and one little chair. No desk? No sofa? No one wants to sit on the floor. I don't even understand this, because clearly the issue was not lack of space in the room. -Why are there no wine glasses in the rooms? How can you stock a minibar with $100+ bottles of wine and not provide any glasses to drink them from? There were other glasses and coffee mugs, so I don't think it's a pandemic precaution. Just a bizarre oversight? -Mattress was too soft in my view. Very saggy. But this one is just a matter of preference so no stars impacted on this.
