If you’re looking for a boutique experience in the heart of South Beach then look no further. Villa Italia is centrally located in a peaceful pocket of South Beach and just 2 mins from the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Special mention must go to John for his top tips on where to go and what to see. Good value. Great setting. Highly recommended.

Close to the beach, this hotel was nice and very affordable. They have a house villa to rent also and we may be back with family to try it out. Nice seating outside for coffee and many restaurants within walking distance

Good stay with a comfortable king size bed and coffee machine and coffees for better stay. The happy hour with one glass of one for free is also something special In the last day and at my request, the hotel gave one more hour to stay.

It was not my first time here, but this time was different. I needed to extend my stay and the manager of the hotel was extremely helpful in that particular matter. I would recommend check this place out.

We have stayed a few days in this hotel before going on our Caribbean cruise. The location of the hotel is very ideal. Walking distance to South Beach and all the restaurants, however, it is far that you don't get disturbed by the noise as that area could really be loud with all night parties. There is a supermarket nearby as well. There was a Turkish restaurant just opposite the hotel if you want Halal food. The rooms were big and comfortable but could benefit from few face-lift as well as the bathrooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very good hotel. Adorable. Staff is wonderful and the hotel is close to the beach. A lot of restaurants around by walking distance. They also provide a beach access and beach towels. I will definitely come back.

The hotel itself is in a great area! Walkable to most things especially restaurants. It was easy to get from here to most things. The hotel is a bit dated, it needs some zhuzhing up. Although,, The bathroom was the worst really, they just need to redo. We lost power and no one seemed to know, I called and there was no help, the dude o the night shift just left and we had to explain the whole thing to the morning lady, she was helpful but didn't know what to do, I got it wasn't her job to do electrical work... My husband ended up helping and we got power back. But that threw our day off and our plans back because we wasted so much time and I had to shower in the dark and since we were on the first floor, I couldn't really risk having the curtains and the bathroom door open. That was an experience I wouldn't want to repeat again, the reason I don't go camping. The cleaning staff was more than gracious. So, when we initially came in, they gave us a room that was not aired and probably no one had been in there to clean for a while. It was late and after 10+ hours of travelling we were TIRED! no energy to say anything and I don't even think we had dinner, that's how tired we were. The next day, we explained and the cleaning staff was more than gracious and cleaned. I think the problem is, and this is my personal take on it, they are not given proper tools. There was no reason we did not get unused toiletries, the staff could not just decide not to do it unless it came from above them. Luckily, I travel with most toiletries I need and CVS wasn't too far away and we got toiletries we needed. Pluses, the property is a few blocks to the beach and you get chairs when you get there, so that was nice. The staff (other than the overnight dude) were nice. So the experience here, even though not baaad it was really just meh! (for luck of a better word)

Arrived 10am from cruise, only 14 rooms at the place and was told I had to wait till 3 to check in (even though someone was checking out at the time). The rest the story, reception, room, bath, location, amenities etc etc all suck. Not professionally run.

I don't know where half of these reviews come from but at no point did the amenities match what was advertised!!!! Flagrant and brackish experience to say the least. And where was the room service and food!!!!! I had not one Glass of OJ let alone see an orange on the property . There was no private parking. They don't take amex. And the beach is not a hop ans skip away. We had 3 people in our room...paid 3 resort fees and still had to rent a 3rd chair at the beach. FOH!!!! And soundproof rooms are a myth. The heavy feet above my room made me feel like I stayed In the hood . I swear If available I would have checked out and stayed at the best western. This place is the devil. Don't be fooled and don't taint your miami experience by staying here. YoU deserve better. This was below basic and goes down as tragic traveling. Shame on them for being open ....
