This was our first stay in Miami and we were very lucky to have stayed at the Villa Italia. We drove down from Orlando for the Miami GP and on arriving we quickly realised parking would be a nightmare. We went in to reception and Pablo gave us some tips. After finding a spot on the street we were unable to pay with English phones due to regional restrictions. Pablo kindly paid for our parking out of his own pocket which we reimbursed on checkout. The room was great, the location was excellent and the staff were lovely. We can't thank Pablo enough for helping us with the parking and looking after us. That was certainly a lesson learnt! We would stay there again in heartbeat.
Stayed twice in the last ten days, good location (especially if you like Joe’s - the Crab), clean rooms, good service, especially Maude at the front desk. Very helpful, efficient and all this with a big French smile, will certainly be back soon.
We booked this hotel in january for the forthcoming formula 1 in Miami. Our booking was cancelled 1 week before and the hotel blamed the "system" for the cancellation. We booked through their website and they told us we would have to book again if we wanted the rooms. When we tried to book they had increased the cost by 200% with a room for 5 nights costing $3,062 which is a rip off for this quality hotel. We are traveling from Europe and the hotel says there is nothing they can do for us. Surely this is not the welcome Americans offer to their guests. See you in the Florida small claims court Villa Italia!!
We arrived very late at night the staff was so nice and kind and accommodating then when we got to the room it was even better the room was exceptionally clean the bed was super soft the shower was great size everything was perfect we would like to add a special note that Maude at the front desk was the definition of exceptional hospitality. And by the way the location is perfecf
I made reservation for Villa Italia on Expedia two months ago. At that time hotel charged my credit card full amount for the stay. Yesterday I received email from Expedia that according to my request the reservation was canceled. I did not cancel the reservation. Any attempt to contact hotel was unsuccessful. Expedia customer service was not helpful neither. Just a few hotels still available in that area but prices went up significantly $600-700 per night. Thank you very much Villa Italia for that present on very important day of our life!
We had a fantastic experience at Villa Italia. The staff was very attentive and the place was exceptionally clean. My husband raved about the pillows on the bed too! Location was great and beach chairs where included. We definitely will be back. Highly recommend this quaint boutique hotel.
Worst experience ever, you will leave here crying because the staff is so awful! The room itself was not even nice - things were broken like the bathroom light, some of the outlets didn't work. Also they charge for using their towels. Stay away from here!
This hotel was a perfect small place to stay in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of South Beach and a lot of nice restaurants. Staff was great. Maude and Luisa were so nice. Jairo was really helpful and was a great guy. Definitely would go back!!
This place was amazing. Jairo and his staff was so helpful. They recommended restaurants and arranged transportation several times for our group of eight. Luisa is so nice and keeps the room and property clean and inviting. We will definitely stay here again.
This hotel isn’t new and shiny, but it has a unique layout and a cute exterior. The beach is a five minute walk down 4th street, and several different restaurants are merely across the street towards 5th. The staff are super helpful and friendly, always ready with a smile and suggestions for things to do around town. Come for the location and stay for the staff!
