First time in Miami and I’m so happy that I chose Viajero Miami as my base. Shout out to Shei that hosted a great Kareoke night and salsa night! Above and beyond! And also, shout out to Nico the manager who made everything in his power to make sure everyone had a great time. I can’t wait to come back!

I stayed here and had an issue with a water leak in my room. The manager Domingo L contacted me, and he went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my stay. I will definitely be back because of how this issue was resolved. Staff is great!!

I had many different experiences that just add to the fun of being in a foreign country. I will surely choose this location again. It is in walkin' distance of everything I need, except Walmart. Staff is very witty. They know how to make their guests feel comfortable. The place itself offers enough entertainment, bar, dj, lounge, pool, games... and also a library for business travelers to have quiet moments to focus on their digital jobs. Once you master the bus lines, moving around Miami becomes eazy. There are lots of nice rentals to ride around in, but parking is a hassle. The area is safe for walking unbothered.

The place has a great style and is well located, close to South Beach. You are right in the center of the nightlife scene, so if you want to have drinks or go out, this place is great. If you are a difficult sleeper and value quietness over closeness to the center of action, the you may have to look somewhere further from the beach. Overall great value for money.

If you are in search of the worst hotel in the Miami Beach, I'd like to suggest The Stiles Hotel as it is an extremely competitive candidate in all aspects. Gifted with a great location, this hotel has literally done nothing right. The building was poorly maintained and the staff was hostile. Unfortunately, I spent one night at The Stiles Hotel in April 2022. The nightmare started from the very moment of checking in. Booked the hotel via Priceline.com, there was some miscommunication between the website and the hotel. The girl at the front desk claimed that there was $26 deficiency in the amount they received and she insisted me to pay the gap, which was obviously ridiculous. After wasting more than an hour, the issue was finally resolved between them and I was give a room with a broken shower with only hot water. With all the hassle at checking in, it was almost midnight when I noticed the shower issue. I went to the front desk right away to report it hoping that it could be resolved timely so that a shower before bed was still possible. On the shift was a night auditor whose name is Chase. It seems that he was not amused by the issue I was facing. At first, he simply tried to get rid of me by stating that it could only be resolved the next morning when the maintenance team came back to work. I immediately rejected it since it is nonsense that a customer at a hotel has no access to shower. He then awkwardly claimed that all the private rooms were booked for the night and I would have been unwilling to take a shower in a shared room that he was staying had he offered me this option. It was true that I'd be unhappy to shower in a shared room given that I paid for a private room. However, comparing to the situation of no shower, I'd rather take one anywhere. What's bizarre was that after I informed him my willingness he found a spare private room which was not open to public due to some issue. However, he insisted me to switch to that room and claimed that it would be easier for me and the hotel, which was both ridiculous and offensive. I've unpacked my stuff in the old room. How was it easier for me to move to another room. Besides, it was known that the new room had an issue for which I wasn't given any detail. Why would I knowingly take a problematic room with unknown issue to me? I insisted to just take a shower in that room. Out of nowhere, Chase told me that in that case I only had 10 minutes in the new room. Being puzzled, exhausted and disappointed, I didn't want to waste another second with him. I took the shower, went back to my room, checked out the first thing next morning and swore to never come back. On the bright side, staying at The Stiles Hotel truly makes staying at other hotels enjoyable. Other than shower temperature not adjustable, the shower faucet was broken, the drain stopper was missing, and the walls in the room was full of visible patches. If I were told that there was a gun fight in the room, I'd believe it. In addition, they charge $51 for overnight parking. As a reference, the top hotel in the Miami Beach "1 Hotel South Beach" charges $50 for valet parking. I am just puzzled that with such bad infrastructure, poor service and hostile staff where the owner gets the nerve to charge such high premium.

1- Major safety issue: Our room's door was left completely open on Dec 27th after housekeeping. Emergency exit doors next to our room were also fully open and someone could sneak in to steal our passports and laptops! The staff didn't offer any explanation or apology! We felt so paranoid after this incident that we decided to carry a heavy backpack with all our personal belongings with us every time we left the room and left nothing valuable inside the room during the following days. This is not normal at all for any “four-star” accommodation anywhere! 2- Phone service: Our room’s phone didn’t work and hence we couldn’t call the hotel’s front desk or ask for room service; and no one came to fix it, despite our request. 3- Internet: No Wifi service inside the room during the last 2.5 days of our stay and no explanation/ compensation was made. 3- Water: There was no drinking water in the facility or any water bottle inside the room despite what was advertised on Expedia and promised in our booking confirmation; 4- Shower: Extremely low water pressure in the shower. We could barely shower. 6- Inaccurate advertisement of the property as a four-star “hotel” with a different name (Stiles) on Expedia when we booked it, but when we went there it turned that this a hostel with a totally different name and a very different vibe and environment not suitable for my 60-year-old mom! Neither the hotel nor Expedia notified us about this change prior to our check-in. Otherwise, I would have considered changing my reservations. 7- Fraud Management: after we explained the entire situation to the staff and hotel’s manager prior to our check out, they offered us a full refund (verbally), and said they will follow up with Expedia to process a refund on my Visa Card. However, they decieved us, and never contacted Expedia about this issue and ever since our check out day (Dec 30th), they have been ignoring my follow up calls and emails.

You will get no sleep! (I am not noise sensitive) My wife and I recently stayed here for one night in room 114 and there is no sound proofing at all in this hotel! Loud partying was heard all night long until 4am coming from the bar. Also any noise in the room above is easily heard. Then once morning comes it feels like you are sleeping in the hallway with all the noise made from cleaning staff. Also the pools were not in use during our stay which was one of the main reasons we booked...

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Stiles. It was just a couple blocks from the beach, so I could go every say. Also, the Front Desk staff was super friendly and accommodating including Fiorella, Pilar, Maria, Tomas, and William. Because of the construction, they moved me to the Penthouse, which had its own terrace. It is also right in the middle of the South Beach tourist attractions such as Ocean Ave.

The receptionist could hardly speak English and thus she did not understand many questions or answered them incorrectly. It was said that the cleaning lady comes every 2 days, but it turned out that you have to register it after the cleaning was not done. In the description of the hotel it was said that there is water in the room and a coffee machine, which was not so even after inquiries came no response. Definitely not a 4 star hotel in the room are everywhere spatula spots to recognize, no continuous wall paint. The blinds are defective as well as the window opener. The shampoo bottles were also not refilled as well as the water jet in the shower is intended more for refreshment than for showering, as there is no pressure behind it. Overall for the price anything but recommendable as it does not meet the standard of a 4 star hotel if at all 3. Very sad.
