I chose this hotel for a 3 days stay in Miami Beach as we wanted to be close to South Beach and the Art Deco area. We booked the Ocean Suite just over the entrance right on Ocean Drive. Great and friendly staff. Excellent very large room with great comfort: 2 showers side by side and whirlpool. The hotel is on Ocean Drive , but at the beginning of the road so that street noise is very limited and totally acceptable. Nice small pool and whirlpool on the roof. beach service included in the package, but we had no time to use it. Valet parking had been discontinued by the hotel, however a public garage with very decent prices (20 USD per 24 hours) is available half a block from the hotel. I would definitely recommend the place and certainly stay there again for a next visit to the area.…
My son and I stayed at Leslie Hotel for spring break. Our room was on the second floor, very comfortable. The location was perfect. All staff were very helpful. The beach is not far and the hotel provides beach chairs and towels. We will definitely stay there again.
Our breakfast was included in our hotel (Leslie) so we came in each morning to eat. Service is terrible. Waitresses and hostess are not efficient and chilling on their phones while we asked 3 times to get service and they told us to wait. It’s the 3rd morning with bad service. They don’t care, they ignore us.
I stayed at this hotel for Miami carnival and I will definitely be back. During check-in the older gentleman was very friendly and explained all their policies. The room was exactly as pictured no dirt,no sand, clean sheets, clean bathroom and trash was picked up every day during a five day stay. The location for me, is perfect it’s still on Collins but definitely far away enough from the action we sleep should not be interrupted And you’re not bombarded with a bunch of people sitting outside your hotel
What a great spot! Our room was on the first floor, very comfortable, but not a great view. We arrived and our room wasn't ready so we hung out by the pool. Ordered some food and drinks that I guess that get from next door. Yummy, but not amazing. Pricey but you are certainly paying for the convenience. The location was perfect. It was like an oasis. Lots of activity around , but the Leslie is perfect with its laid back appeal. Jerry, working in the evening, was very helpful with recommendations. All the staff were very helpful. Beach chairs and towels upon request and the beach is right there. Loved it!
Leslie is a jewel on Miami South Beach. It is located at the best part of Miami Beach in the Art Deco district. The area where everything happens and as close as possible to the beach. Although, the hotel is quiet, calm and with an extremely family atmosphere. A special thanks to EDIN who helped me in an acute situation where my computer turned down. Such things do not happen in ordinary oversized hotels without the special feeling for their customs. Hugely appreciated. Leslie has everything you want with the rooftop pool, fitness center, working area, wifi and tea and coffee in your room. Food/drinks are easily ordered from the roof pool. I have been there several times and when I am going back to Miami there is absolutely no discussion were to stay. Peter Lindgren Sweden
Visited the Leslie to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is perfectly located on Ocean Dr. just south of the big hotels sitting directly on the beach. As you go south of this location the hotels get a little cheaper and the scene a little wilder so this location was just right. Add to that the muni garage is right around the corner with 24 hr parking for $20, a deal in SoBe. The lobby and other common areas are clean and well maintained. The roof top pool is very nice with individual "cabana like" seating areas. The pool and hot tub were both comfortably warm for our February visit with highs in the low 70s. Towels are provided. They will sell you food and drink brought over from the hotel next door but are also fine with you bringing in your own. We upgraded to a suite and it was a great choice. The shower room was completely over the top with his/hers rain heads and hand units as well as 6 side sprays and a whirlpool tub. Its the most luxurious shower room I've ever had in a hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The bedroom was small as they all are in these boutique hotels and the extra suite room was pretty basic. There are only 2 suites and they are both on the front so technically "ocean view" but you really can't see much from your room. The reason to get the suite is for the shower. I followed the advice of other reviews and skipped the prepaid breakfast. I'd recommend this as there are plenty of good breakfast options within walking distance. Try the 11th st Dinner. The Leslie has a front porch with tables and chairs and guests are free to use this to people watch. The only negative is that it can be noisy during the middle of the night and then first thing in the morning. Its not that there are bars or clubs that make noise but this is a "metro" area and there are occasional people yelling and some street people around so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper The price was reasonable for SoBe. If you book direct on their website they offer discounts for prepaid room or Florida residents. I'd do it again.…
Leslie is a small boutique hotel. It was very clean and updated. It is in the Art Deco district of Miami Beach with easy access to the beach, restaurants and shops. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly, The his and her shower in our room was outstanding. The hotel had a lot of personality. SteveCindy USA
Room very small good for two people. Some people may not like low water pressure in shower. We don’t care much about that.We set up our AC on 74 F and it was comfortable even for cool nights. The pool was a treasure because the water temperature was about 100f and it was salty water. The coffee machine was making strong coffee. It just little stings I can’t give it 5 stars but otherwise I would come back.Make sure you buy breakfast included.By the way the hotel is located in the middle and there is no restaurant in front so the nights are little bit quiet ,I know I like it.
Pros: Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, room and hallway is very clean and decorated cute. Super comfy bed, close to many restaurants, bars and the beach. Pool and hot tub area were pleasant with good towel service. Cons: The room was extremely dark in decor, which I found unusual for a beach location. There was zero view from the windows other than dilapidated building and an alley so we usually kept the blinds shut. The lighting in the bathroom was horrible there was no way to apply make up because I was in shadow the whole time. Room is a tight fit, but that wasn’t a big deal because we were mostly just there to sleep. It is Miami Beach, so I’m sure it’s generally very very warm, however we had some pretty cool nights, it was no heat in the rooms we asked for an additional blanket. And the staff brought us a mattress cover instead, hard to believe they don’t just have a few extra blankets laying around. All in all, not a bad stay, in a good location, just a few caveats I mentioned…
