Perfect location. Ocean drive but not in the middle of the craziness. Great breakfast. Room at vack was quiet. No noise from outside, other guests or corridor. It's not a party hotel. Lovely small pool.
This was such a lovely spot on Ocean Drive and the hotel room decor was very fun. The staff were terrific and I cannot say enough about our wonderful experience with Edin. When I told him we chose The Leslie because I have that name, he presented me with some "swag" including a shirt with the hotel logo which I proudly wore all over Miami for the next 2 days! His kindness made my trip! The room lighting was a bit dim and there was only a single stool, the hangars in the closet are only reachable if you are VERY tall and the aircon was maybe not as strong as one might want at night. But the pool area was totally awesome and we had it to ourselves a lot of the time, having the fridge and coffee maker was a blessing and we thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary bottle of wine!
Even though this is a small hotel, it’s still a great one. It still offers a swimming pool, a gym, and a restaurant outside. The rooms are also big for the size of the building itself. It’s about 25 square meters, and it still has a flat screen television, and a 10 square meter bathroom. Even the service is great! It may look small, but it’s actually a fabulous seaside hotel.
Lovely original ocean front South Beach Art Deco hotel. Modern renovations make this hotel beautiful and comfortable, we enjoyed the rooftop pool and jacuzzi! Perfect Location with public parking garage around the corner! All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Lilly at the front desk. Thank you for a wonderful stay !!!
Booked last minute for 2 nights , fabulous boutique hotel , couldn’t fault anything and I’m fussy . Friendly helpful staff , luggage storage , large room with all amenities: iron , coffee maker , shampoo etc Super roof top pool with towels and comfortable seating and sun beds all in the heart of south beach , would recommend, bonus is no resort fees and beach chairs available
Had the loveliest stay for 2 nights at the Leslie. Lobby is so relaxing with the most chilled Christmas music. Lilly at reception is a very special lady. Could not be more helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant of the Leslie is also gorgeous. Just so chilled. The whole experience was amazing. Lovely clean room. Comfy beds. All the staff are so attentive and helpful from maintenance to the guys on front door who help with luggage and welcome everyone. It really is one of the best places and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Hotel is in the heart of South Beach, but also manages to have quiet bedrooms (I had a room near the rear with a window onto the alleyway). Just across from the beach, and close to many restaurants, bars and cafes. Very welcoming desk staff when I arrived late due to a delayed flight. Helpful cleaning staff. Room was well appointed, with plenty of storage and a comfortable easy chair for relaxing. Nice bathroom. Efficient air conditioning. Love that this hotel has an individual non-corporate character, reflecting its Art Deco heritage.
I booked the Leslie Hotel on Ocean Drive South Beach because of the positive reviews I read of it online. This was our first trip back to SB in nearly 20 years and the experience at the Leslie diminished our enjoyment in SB. The check in process was the only positive thing about the whole experience. This is a historic property so we didn’t expect a large space. The space was adequate, however, here are some of the disappointments: - No Kleenex or similar tissues were provided. - No body/hand lotion provided. - We requested an iron and ironing board. The ironing board legs wouldn’t stay up to be useful. We had dinner with friends and our clothes were wrinkled because it was difficult to iron clothes without using the ironing board. - There’s a glass wall the separates the bathroom from the bedroom. There are no curtains on the bathroom windows or glass wall so the room is extremely bright due to the streetlights. It was difficult to fall asleep. - We came back to the room at 4 pm on the second day and housekeeper didn’t show up to clean the room and change the towels. When we enquired at the front desk, they told us that housekeeping had left for the day. - The bathroom dimly light and not appropriate for shaving and applying makeup. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this property for its poor quality of service. There are many other properties in SB at similar price point that would provide an enjoyable experience. The Leslie hotel was a huge disappointment for its price point. …
We were in Miami Beach for Thanksgiving, and our VRBO went wrong. Booked this hotel last minute and boy were we glad we did! Traveling with 75 year old parents and with kids, and it was just perfect. Great location, right across from the beach, walk to everywhere in South Beach. In the middle of the action, but it was quiet in the rooms. The rooftop pool and Jacuzzi were Icing on the cake. Staff was fantastic, even the restaurant was really good. Highly recommend the Leslie hotel.
Beautiful historic hotel. Lovely cool entrance with a beautiful aroma. Very nice and cheerful check in staff. Room was beautifully clean and airy with plenty of space. Very little noise with very comfortable beds. I slept like a log! My daughter loved the rooftop swimming pool. Perfectly located in the art deco district. Didn't want to leave! Can't rate this hotel highly enough and we will definitely be back again.
