This place was awful. Pictures make it look a lot better. Nothing that we were expecting. No idea why they say art district..No room service after 5pm (asked for xtra blanket and got a fitted sheet. No convenient plug ends. No chair to sit on. Parking is a block away. No carts for luggage. Shower had no where to put soap bottle. No hair dryer.. very noisy outside. Sketchy area. Elevator very small and old. Never again!

The hotel is not bad. We did get our rooms cleaned every day. I wish we had known that the suites and rooms were in different buildings as we were splitting up our family of five and this changed our sleeping arrangements. The location is very central and the restaurant is fabulous. The cost is a lot for what you get, especially when you go to the 'private beach area' half a mile away and find out that the resort fee covers a bed but not the towels that are given to every other patron there. ALSO, you will NEVER get your deposit back. I have asked over and over since January and still haven't received our $500 deposit back from December 2022. It is now March 2023. I wish I had paid more attention to reviews before we booked.

The deposit and service fees were ridiculous. Service fee was $100 and the deposit was $300. And to top it off, there’s a 7 day hold on the deposit. This is a big issue if you’re budgeting money. Most hotels return your deposit within 1-3 business days so that caught me off guard and screwed me in the long run when I needed my money back in time when I finally got home. However if those two things aren’t an issue and you have money to spare, the stay was good and the room was clean and comfortable.

The best of this hotel is the location. Is 3 minutes walking to South Beach and less than 1 minute to Lincoln Ave. They charge you $35 extra (1 night) and I don’t like that surprise at the check in. The room is ok, but the bathroom need to clean old black stains in the shower, floor and the wall. Employee are not friendly in the front desk. Air conditioner was ok and bed was confortable. The Pool are located in the front of the hotel (I don’t use it).

First, let's expose a couple of the lies this hotel tells: 1. On its website (as of today), the One Bedroom Suite is described as having "a king-sized bed" and the list of featured amenities includes a King Bed, Work Desk, Toaster, Ironing Board and Coffeemaker. Our One Bedroom Suite had a queen bed and when we asked about this, the front desk clerk told us that all of the one bedroom suites have queen beds and the website is "wrong." Our suite had no work desk, no toaster, no ironing board and no coffeemaker. It was also missing one of the bedside tables and one of the four kitchen table chairs. 2. In social media posts and on a pamphlet they gave us at check-in, they refer to access to a "private beach." Of course, all beaches in Miami Beach are accessible to the public. There are no private beaches. 3. The pool portrayed on social media is not the pool you get. It is located at the front of the hotel so it is in shade almost all day. It is also filthy (there was no chlorine smell). Next, let's talk about the big scam at this hotel: It charges a "resort fee" that supposedly includes WiFi, local calls, beach towels and chairs at the beach. WiFi should always be free at hotels; no one makes local calls from a landline anymore, and it would be cheaper to buy your own beach towel every day at one of the many nearby stores that sell them. The chairs are only available at a section of the beach at 21 St. and this hotel is located near 17 St. -- so you have to walk a half-mile (approx. 10 minutes) to take advantage of this perk. As others have mentioned here, the hotel is poorly maintained and showing its age. There are foul smells all over that they try to cover up with a spray. The air conditioners in the rooms are old and loud. Our suite was at the back of the building overlooking a parking lot and an alley where homeless people slept. The biggest issue we had with this hotel is the young woman who worked behind the front desk during the day. She looked like she hated her job. She never smiled, always looked bored and was never helpful. How she got a job in the hospitality industry remains a mystery. So, what's GOOD about this hotel? The location is central and quieter at night than other parts of South Beach -- and the WiFi is reliable. If it was a motel it would be two-star but as a hotel it's one-star at best. Don't believe the slick marketing on the website and on social media -- and don't book a stay here unless you keep your expectations low.

The service fee is insane because THERE IS NO SERVICE AT ALL, they only clean your room if you request it, there is not even a bottle of water, instead they put you two at a cost of 8usd each (crazy). Front desk employees are useless and not welcoming at all. They just make you feel like rubbish the way they look at you they are very arrogants. The deposit is insane 100usd a day (I have been in more hotels and their deposit is only 50-60 for all nights), and it has been 1 week and still don’t get the refund. They don‘t accept cash. I need the money back and they claim is because of my bank is international.Also They made unexpected charges too without my authorisation. The pool is dirty and small. Now I tell you the good —> Beds are comfortable and the location is good.

I stayed from November 13 to 16 in room 201 of the hotel. The afternoon I arrived at the hotel I had no electricity, no water, no tv, only the air conditioning was working. the bed had a mattress that was sinking and there was a bad smell throughout the hotel, wet or dirty smell. I asked to change my room and was denied. the electricity came back after two days almost when I was checking out. They promised not to charge me for my stay and ended up charging me for almost the entire stay. I do not recommend it at all, it ends up being massively more expensive than any hotel of better category. I hope that other guests will not have what happened to me happen again. Me aloje desde el 13 al 16 de noviembre en la habitación 201 del hotel. La tarde en que llegue al hotel me quede sin luz, sin agua, sin tv solamente funcionaba el aire acondicionado. la cama tenia un colchón que se hundía y había mal olor en todo el hotel, olor a mojonado o sucio. solicite que me cambiaran de habitación y me fue negado. la electricidad volvió luego de dos dias casi cuando estaba realizando el check out. Prometieron no realizar cargos por mi estadía y terminaron cobrando casi la estadía completa. No lo recomiendo para nada, termina saliendo mass caro que cualquier hotel de mejor categoría. ojalá que a otros huéspedes no le vuelva a suceder lo que me ha sucedido

It seems the hotel was good at one time but is now trying to maximize the rental with resort fees and not offering even one dollar worth of extra services. There need to be some amenities in the room like a paper cup for drinking water for medicines. At the front desk, the night clerk was not pleasant and seemed like he was doing us a favor by giving a cup. So what are your chances of getting a few packets of tea or coffee pods ---- zero. Surely a hotel can spend a few dollars here. The day clerk Francisco was pleasant, trying his best. The shampoos could be better - it had a fancy Eco label but seemed to be simply chemicals. Positives was the water was warm, third floor ceilings high, bed was clean. The location is good - the price would be ok had it not been for the resort fee. Of course, the location is not on the beach nor is it like a 5 star place - if you want a budget hotel you have one.

I spent five nights there. It’s definitely a place that you shoot avoid. The building inside is in a very poor condition. Hotel rooms are really old, carpets are dirty, walls haven’t been refreshed for years. There is a stench in the hotel. There is no room cleaning. During my five days in this hotel my room was cleaned only once. I have requested room cleaning every day in the morning however it was conveniently forgotten. There is no desk in the room to work on. There are no plugs to charge your phone next to your bed. All in all it was a terrible experience and I would definitely not stay in this hotel again. I paid 250 usd per night which is definitely too high for no service and dilapidated rooms Btw during my stay I wrote to the front manager and asked for room cleaning four times however it was always ignored and never responded.
