Staff is very nice. Place is a dump straight up. It is fine if you don’t care where you stay and just need a place to sleep. Stayed in a single then moved to a double. Both on the first floor. Super loud all the time and AC unit in both rooms would only cool to 75 degrees. They charge a resort fee for the hole in the center of the building (their pool) this place is just gross. If you’re not into the cram a bunch a people in your room and sleep wherever don’t stay here, i wont ever again.
Stayed at this hotel as part of an American Airlines promo. It's a small boutique hotel right in the heart of the South Beach scene. The onsite staff was absolutely the best. From the front desk, door men, and the bartender, everyone was great. This is not an ideal place for people with delicate sensibilities as the street the hotel is on is always crowded with people making the most of YOLO. So it's loud, and you will often smell a lot of weed smoke and lout and obnoxious and foul language. But if you're okay with all that it's a great place to let your own freak flag fly. The street is also full of visitors driving rented vehicles back and forth blasting music most of the day/night. On my first night there while I was enjoying a cigar in front of the hotel I was amused to see several incidents of drunk women climbing on top of cars and twerking. You can't even make this stuff up. It was like a Rave, Sprint Break, and Mardi Gras all in one. There are several small cafes and restaurants nearby so good food and coffee was always close. The hotel has bikes they allow guests to use which is nice if you want to move around. They do offer valet parking for guests for a small fee (I think it was like $35/day or something) but they don't park it nearby so if you need your car, it may take half an hour or longer for the valet to bring it to you. So I would recommend to everyone not to bring a rental car. One last thing which I was really disappointed by which is totally not the hotel's fault is the condition of the beach nearby. It was disgusting with piles of rotting seaweed piled everywhere. Having been to clean beaches in Mexico and the Dominican Republic earlier this year seeing this gross beach was just plain sad. So if you're young and don't mind the noise and the drama on the street, this hotel is a great place to stay with an amazing staff.…
The staff at this hotel made me feel welcome and taken care of. We didn't need to buy water, they were generous with that. They gave us sunblock and offered aloe vera. We got beach towels and loungers. I have to eat gluten free and the chef came out to speak to me to make sure I was safe. I did not get sick after my meal so I recommend the restaurant to celiacs. Excellent location. Better than Ocean Drive which is way too loud and crowded. Thanks to the staff and the man who called us a taxi, I am sorry I couldn't catch your name.
We had a short nice stay. Everybody is friendly and very nice. Parking and getting there was a little busy, but that was due to the memorial day weekend. Easy walking distance to south beach and shopping.
