The staff are amazing at this hotel - friendly, approachable and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is in an excellent position close to all the amenities, restaurants, bars, and bus stop. The room was spacious and comfortable - the bathroom had L’Occitane products, bottled water provided daily, coffee pod machine with free coffee pods in room. Breakfast is not provided but there is an area in the mornings that coffee/tea/apples/breakfast bars are left to help yourself. The beach bag is a nice touch with towel and sunbed on the beach provided. Glass of champagne when checking in. Bikes available to use. Everything provided here for an amazing stay in Miami - we will definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Miami.

We stayed at the Blue Moon for four days in February of this year. From the moment we arrived, the front desk and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We stayed in an upgraded suite, which featured a living room and two bathrooms. The room was immaculate, which I greatly appreciated as I have very high cleanliness standards due to a past experience with bedbugs as a child.
The hotel is conveniently located, just about a 7-minute walk to the beach, and there are lots of fun places to eat around the area. Despite its central location, the noise level wasn't an issue, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful stay.
While the mattress was a bit worn, the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room made up for it. The staff was very accommodating and kind throughout our entire stay, making us feel right at home. This hotel has become one of our favorite places to stay in the Miami area, and we would recommend it to anyone.
I noticed that the hotel is now under new ownership and undergoing changes, and I sincerely hope that the new management can maintain the same high level of hospitality that we experienced. Before booking, I called the hotel to inquire about cleanliness, as we had a bad experience with another hotel the night before. They assured me that their place was clean, and they certainly delivered on that promise.
Overall, I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The staff, particularly D'Vontae, JP, and Fernando, were all wonderful and made our stay truly enjoyable. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Miami.

The Blue Moon Hotel is in the style that matches the whole South Beach district of Miami Beach: Art Deco. Conveniently located on a central avenue it is also close to the beach, where the hotel has its own sunbeds and umbrellas.
Our King Room had a good size with enough storage space, especially several drawers plus an empty fridge. The bed was comfortable, but there was only one bedlamp. Not much of a view out the window. The bathroom had a well working shower, toiletries by Occitane and plenty of towels.
Staying only for one night we didn't use the swimming-pool with its nice seating area, also we didn't have any breakfast. In the evening though we went to the bar, where we had to wait for a long time to finally get the worst prepared drinks ever (Mojito, Tequila Sunrise). The snacks though (Chicken Wings and Bluemoon Burger) were fine. Staff at reception was friendly. Compared to other hotels we stayed in the same district of Miami Beach we got here the best value.

We booked through Volagratis and had a great time. Clean and welcoming room, you have to pay a deposit but it includes bike rental for 3 hours which is perfect in Miami and various services such as use of the swimming pool. This review is for the Blue Moon Hotel’s practice of “overbooking” rooms. I booked and prepaid my room through Expedia. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that it was overbooked and the only thing they could offer was a room at their other location which was miles away. I was never notified before I arrived that they did not have a room for me. I was told that Manager JP would reach out to me but he never did and he did not return my email. I then had to deal with the frustrating process of getting my money back via Expedia. I also checked the hotel website and it showed rooms available for that night at a much higher price even though they claimed to be overbooked… Please be careful if you book through a third party website that this hotel may not honor your reservation.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in the Blue Moon Hotel, at Miami Beach south beach. This was a choice location as it was close to Ocean Dr and its happenings, the Art Deco district, South beach which is one of the cleanest beach’s you will find anywhere, and public transportation. We enjoyed the hotel’s ambiance and quaintness. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Jarno the manager stood out, for his willingness to accommodate our every need. The hotel is clean and modernized with free WiFi throughout the facility. They have loaner bicycles, sun beds at the beach and beach towels for use in the pool or on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back, next trip to Miami Beach.

The hotel rooms are very small & there is no central ac. The fan and ac are very loud in the rooms and so it was hard to sleep. The hotel and rooms had a damp odor smell. The tv also didn’t work in the room.
Also, the bell boy was very rude and demanded a tip when he helped with the bags after walking 5 steps with them. He was very rude about it.
The resort fee is $20 and includes free beach chairs, towels, bike rentals, and water bottles. Make sure to ask the front desk about them if you want them.
The pool is also very small, but nice courtyard. No jacuzzi.
I wouldn’t recommend coming here, especially for the money. We would stay at a bigger hotel next time. The beach area is okay, lots of seaweed. Maybe check another Miami Beach area. There are lots of restaurants around this area though.

This hotel is in an Excellent location only a block from the beach it’s a small boutique hotel but the personal service from the front desk to the porter and cleaners was excellent they went out of their way to make our two night stay the best it could be. It’s right in the heart of art deco area the rooms are good comfortable and have everything you need. The pool is really small only a splash pool but reality you are close to the beach and they provide sun beds and towels for you to enjoy the ocean and beach. We would def stay here again pre and post cruise it was perfect for what we wanted.

The hotel is so beautiful and the staff are so accommodating, attentive, and welcoming. My sister wished they had a microwave to heat the yummy leftovers from the hotel restaurant Fix. The portions are perfect for a full meal but for us we still had leftovers (we ate them cold after a night of drinking...that's how yummy the food was sober) we did book directly through the hotel and the staff seemed to appreciate that a lot. The location can't be beat...a 5minute walk from the beach, clubs, restaurants, ice cream, and souvenir beach shop. In the middle of the party while still being a quiet and peaceful hotel experience. Your stay comes with a restaurant credit and discount at a local bakery, bottled water, beach towels and chairs reserved daily. It was perfection 🥰
