Rooms are a nice setup and location is good If you have any problems you are on your own. Discussed our issues with front desk, was told you have to email the managers (have not heard anything back for 5 days so far). The issues we had was there's mold and trash on the deck. There was some trash left when the unit was cleaned under the vanity. Also note site says onsite parking available, garage it closed.

Hello Mike, We regret you had not the great experience we try to provide to all our guests. Our apologies for the issues you experienced with the balcony/deck, sometimes guests from rooms above throw their cigarettes or other things down. That being said our housekeeping department should check this every day, this seems to have been overlooked in your case. Our sincere apologies

I can't rate this place high enough. So clean, amazing value for money and amazing customer service. All the staff at the front desk were very helpful, accommodating and nice (especially Rob!) The rooms are huge, beautiful and modern. The hotel rooms are suites and we had 2 TVs, a dishwasher, a washing machine etc. The only con of the room was we could not chromecast from our phones to the TV. The pool on the roof was also a Godsend in the blistering heat. My friends who were flying out the day we checked in all saw our room and were very jealous. If you're okay with a 10-15 minute walk to the hub of restaurants and bars, then this is the place to stay!

Check in was slow. There were bugs, mold and dirty and employees in the lobby not wearing masks. Spoke to the employees about the bugs mold dirt and they didn't handle it right. Elevator is impossible to use. Did not care. Stay somewhere else:(

Hello Sandpoint, We sincerely believe this review has been posted for the wrong hotel. The check in at our hotel is a speedy process that never takes more then 5 minutes, all employees throughout the hotel are wearing masks at all times. Our housekeeping team is very proud of the work they do, we do not have bugs, mold or dirt in any of our rooms nor did we receive any complaints like that at the front desk. Our housekeeping team cleans all rooms thoroughly every day. We have several elevators in our building, non have been out of service, they are very easy to use. If you did stay at our hotel and you did not communicate your concerns directly to the front desk during your stay, this would be very unfortunate and a missed opportunity for us as well as for you. Regards, Abae Hotel

Pros: Close to Lincoln Ave, in walking distance to many places, washer/dryer, heated pool, connected to nice juice shop, Cons: wall ipad doesn't really work, pool always dirty, housekeeping only surface cleans, front desk personnel=poor customer service, mold in shower, balconies aren't cleaned, mostly terrible residential views

Responded Feb 8, 2021
Hello Mrs. Rose, We regret you did not like your stay at our hotel our apologies for any inconveniences you have experienced during your stay. The iPad on the wall can be used to play music, and to look up maps and local restaurants, etc. The rooftop pool is being cleaned daily in the early morning hours before it opens. We can assure you our housekeeping department is cleaning/sanitizing every apartment in the hotel thoroughly before every new check in. In these times of Covid we pay special attention to the cleanliness of our rooms. You were in a room on the 5th floor in the hotel with a view all over Miami Beach, as in any large city the view will mostly be over residential buildings.

This is a gorgeous, secluded, modern and quaint boutique hotel. Room is spacious and artfully decorated. Bed is super comfortable. Front desk manager was very helpful and friendly........but, now, for the sad part!! After checking in, we hoped to take a nice shower after unpacking. But guess what? We have no damn hot water!! The stand alone hot water heater unit in our room just had a timely break down!:(.....and the hotel was only 2 years old! Instead of re-packing and move to another room, we were offered to take our showers at a vacant room down the corridor!! Helpful, but still.....What a hassle! Location wise, though not as convenient as other ' Lincoln road vicinity ' hotels and quite a distance from the beach and Ocean drive. However, there's a big 'Whole Foods' nearby and a boardwalk/promenade with great view of downtown Miami and harbor just a few minutes walk from hotel!
