Excellent style and decor; fabulous staff. Room details are outstanding, thouh rooms are not huge (to be expected). Surprisingly quiet (a good thing) at night. The hotel, in part because of the staff but also because of the Deisel design, has a very European (Italian, specifically) feel to it. I would definitely stay again. Close to many bike rentals and staff had excellent recommendations for local restaurants (in addition to their own). And, of course, the beach is across the street. "Amenty fee" ($47) is a bit annoying, but par for the course in Florida - this one comes with some sparking water and sodas in the fridge along with a beach chair during the day and a beach towel. Again, excellent staff and we appreciated our stay.
Great Hotel, Top Location and Fantastic staff and kind service. The café is also a great place and the food is lovely. The beach service and towels are good and the nightlife around it make it quite unique. Very clean also btw. Can recommand it.
I can only very warmly recommand Pelican Hotel to anyone who wants to spend a nice time in Miami South Beach, on the most beautiful area. It was my 4th time in Miami Beach, but definitely Pelican Hotel is the best hotel I stayed in. Pelican Hotel is a super classy place, though not snobbish or obsequious. Owners as well as all the employees are extremely kind and helpful and I would absolutely say a special thank you to Anthony, the receptionist. Services included are amazing and it does not take long until you feel a special guest : free towels for the beach, spot on the beach where you can get a sunbed, the room being checked in the evening and a card with the weather forecast put on the bed with a little something. That may sound stupid but it makes a difference and I would like to say a warm thank you to everyone there who made my son and I feel so good during our one-week stay. Finally let me highlight that food is amazing and breakfast is a must. If I come back to Miami it will definitely be in Pelican Hotel.…
Isaac was very fun to dance with on the dance floor. He was full of energy and got us all up and dancing!! It was a great time. Not sure how he doesn’t get tired lol. But we defintely broke a sweat on the dance floor 😁
Everything a hotel should be...great location, service, deco and food. There are plenty of hotels along the beach. So it's a competitive business. But what makes one stand out is every aspect of our stay was attended to without being over-the-top. The staff was delightful and helpful. We won't need to look for another hotel for our next trip.
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, pleasant smell throughout the property. Definitely going back. The restaurant was top notch....fresh food prepared well with lovely presentation.
Above all - QUIET room; well sound proofed … we didn’t hear next door neighbours etc. got good night sleep. Great location. Lovely staff; especially the guy with glasses at the reception .. he was very helpful. I requested a room change as my son was scared of a wall ornament and they were totally cool with it. Would stay here again. Food in the restaurant was superb
We stayed for one night prior to a cruise, but we wish we could have stayed longer. Like most of the hotels on Ocean drive the Pelican has been restored to its former Art Deco glory. The 2 guys on reception were friendly and very attentive and we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a suite (Executive thirties) a huge space overlooking the drive itself. Everything was spotless, and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and the toiletries were upmarket and beautifully scented (I think we used everything!). We ate our evening meal and breakfast the next morning sitting on the balcony overlooking the drive. We felt like we were on a film set. The Pelican is not cheap but we felt that it was great value for the experience. We had such an amazing time that we returned for brunch on the day we were due to fly home. It did not disappoint and was a fantastic end to our holiday. We will definitely return! …
First time staying here prior to a cruise. Anthony and Lawrence at the check in desk was very, polite and helpful. Real asset to the hotel! We stayed in the Cubarean Island room, decorated so cute, beds and linens were very nice and it was very clean. All the rooms are decorated differently. Wished I could have peeked in to see them all! Justin at the bar was fun and made awesome drinks. We ate breakfast there the next morning before our cruse. The food was perfect and tasted very good. Our waiter, Alessio, was fun to chat with and he was very attentive in waiting on us. All the employees here are a true asset to the establishment.
The entire staff was so friendly and helpful during our stay. They assisted us with our luggage and helped us get transportation. The bed was comfortable and the location was great. There was a short walk to the beach with an abundance of chairs and great scenery.
