Situated amidst the escapade that is South Beach, the hotel is the perfect oceanside hideaway. Guests are just steps away from white sand beaches as well as must-see shopping, dining and nightlife. The hotel has recently been completely renovated and has been committed to preserving the landmark art deco building's architectural dynasty, while providing guests with unparalleled elegance and gracious service. The guestrooms and suites are luxurious and spacious, ranging from 240 to 500 square-feet and redesigned to create a home away from home, heightened by the contemporary style, custom- designed furniture and fixtures, wood floors and serene color palate. The relaxing setting extends to the spa-like bathroom that includes a rainfall shower, unique glass-enclosed wet room and therapeutic pebble floor. Each room offers exquisite attention to detail, from the hand-selected pillows and rugs to the coastal-inspired artwork that is reminiscent of Miami's tropical surroundings. It is great location. Only a block away from the beach and many restaurants and stores nearby. Wonderfull and very helpful staff. The restaurant in the first floor is excellent. Our room was very large with a. walk-in closet.

Upon arrival, it was great that there was a valet space where we could unload our bags and walk right into the hotel vs. the other option of some hotels to park close and walk with your luggage. Beautiful building from the outside as well as inside. I liked the fact that the hallway was dimly lit, it made it cozy and kinda erotic tbh. Corner room was perfect, however we were under the assumption that the room we asked for had the tub and the seperate shower. No biggie, probably wouldn't have used it anyway. Lots of sun during the day and the neon glowing lights that illuminate the outside of the building (not in a bad way). Also the larger corner window has remote operated drapes. Good size flat screen for the room however, ours had a line thru the middle. I'm a coffee lover and print the only person that will have a cup of in room coffee at every hotel I stay in. Nice Nespresso machine, but looked like no one's ever used it so no one's ever dusted it. I dusted it myself and used it. Not bad but won't be adding it to my coffee machine collection. The bed, I thought it was comfortable, my wife didn't. The pillows are like clouds. I have to have some. My wife put her head back onto the headboard and realized that the entire top of it needed dusting. The next morning I flopped across the pulled back comforter and realized that it smelled like mildew or vomit or mildewed vomit. Called for a new one, ended up having to go the the main desk twice before coming back with the correct confortor. Again, no biggie, I'm just enjoying our getaway. The bathroom was beautiful, loved the shower and shower floor. Dusty to holder and towel rack. Lots of toiletries, great towels and space for your own stuff. Mini bar fridge. Overall, it was a very nice stay. Next time in South Beach, we will go somewhere else, not because it was bad but it wasn't great enough to not want to explore other options in the area. Oh and the restaurant downstairs...I guess I'll go do a seperate review on it.

I stayed here for one night with my partner on the way from Orlando to the Keys. We booked at short notice (the day before) and got a great deal.
There was a space available outside the hotel when we arrived to unload our luggage and check in.
The receptionist was very polite and suggested we park in the public car park around the corner for $25 (overnight rate).
The room we had booked wasn’t ready when we arrived so she upgraded us into another room free of charge which was appreciated.
There’s an air freshener/incense smell in the reception and hallways which got a little too intense for me. My partner didn’t mind it but I found it overwhelming after an hour or so. You couldn’t smell it in the bedroom though, which was a bonus.
The room itself was lovely and bright and modern (took me a while to work out the curtain remote).
My only comment about the room which isn’t as positive is that the bathroom door was on a sliding rail, and didn’t shut properly. Not a complaint, just a statement.
You’re within easy walking distance of Ocean Drive and it’s many bars and restaurants - and the hotel give you small bottles of Fiji water.
Lovely little hotel and I would have loved to have stayed longer.

The hotel was very nice and beautiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to any of our requests and needs. The room was very clean when we arrived. It was only a block away from the beach and right in the middle of South Beach so it was easy to walk to any location within the area. We can’t wait to go back and stay here again!

Fabulous accommodations in a great location. Hotel is a block from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, clubs etc. Comfortable bed, large bathroom and large walk in shower. All amenities (bathrobes, beach towels, minibar, Nespresso machine in room). Although the restaurant/bar in the lobby is not part of the hotel, but is really good too. All staff at the desk were helpful with recommendations and responsive to requests for housekeeping items (since due to Covid the rooms are not visited daily by housekeeping staff). Definitely would stay here again.

We have been taking advantage of "work from home" and have been staying in Florida all winter. We wanted a little weekend getaway to Miami and booked a couple of nights at the Marlin. Happy we chose here. We had a corner room that was spacious and very clean. It's only 3 floors so you never have to use the elevator if you don't want to but they do follow the rules of only one party at a time if you have to get on it.

The king bed was super comfortable, the windows did a fairly good job of soundproofing Collins below, the bathroom was modern, great shower, nice robes. The restaurant was very good and they squeezed us in on Valentines Day even though we didn't make a reservation. Try the asparagus with polenta and gorgonzola. Very decadent but delicious. The staff is friendly for the most part. The valet situation is a little confusing- I'm not exactly sure where they park your car and sometimes it takes 5 minutes to get it and sometimes 25 but they warn you of this and at $35 bucks/day it is fair for the area. Our safe wasn't working but they eventually fixed it the second day.

It's great to be just one block from the beach and they have chairs and umbrellas at the recpeption desk. You are right by Ocean Road so the crowd outside can be a little unrefined but all in all a very nice stay.

We stayed in room 302 for 6 nights. The room was spotless and cleaned to a high standard every day. The room had everything, even an ironing board and curling tongs. Included continental breakfast had a good choice and items always refilled during the breakfast time. No road noise heard in the room at night and a great location within easy walking distance of Ocean Drive, the beach, Lincoln Road, Espanola Way. You can also get the Bus downtown nearby. Special mention to Nana on the front desk who was lovely and really welcoming. Overall if you are looking for a clean well equipped hotel in a great location on South Beach look no further. If we are in South Beach again this is where we will be staying 5 stars.

Rooms were very attractive and clean. (Although we did have used toiletries from the prior guests left in our room, and we had to ask for new ones). Loved the bathroom with the large walk in shower. Large television with Bose sound bar was awesome! Beach chairs can be borrowed from the front desk, as a part of the resort fee.

However, walls are thin and heard our neighbors quite loudly (pretty much heard every single word and could've talked to them through the wall). Street can also be quite noisy at night. No on site parking. We parked a block away for 20$/24 hr flat rate without in and out privileges.

The hotel has a great location in south beach Miami but still in a rather quiet street. The corner suite is very spacious. The breakfast offered at the hotel is very poor and basic and sometime products like - cheese - are non available. The hotel does not offer any other amenity such as gym and swimming pool though beach chairs and towels are provided. The service is not attentive.
