I have extensive travel experience. I had probably the worst checkin experience on Friday afternoon, November 19 I have ever had. You would think that spending nearly $500 for the night, I would have at least been politely greeted. No welcome, no hello, no good afternoon. She barely looked up. If I owned this hotel, she would absolutely have to undergo some serious training. I wanted some ice and was told to bring my ice bucket downstairs to the bar, so I did. No one around except a man on his laptop sitting at a table. He looked up as if to say can I help you so I asked if he worked here. He said “I’m the general manager”. I politely asked for some ice and you would think I asked him for his first born. Now I know where the receptionist training comes from! Again, if I was at a motel 6 type hotel, I could understand the lack of professionalism, but for $465 before the valet charge, it was, and should be totally unacceptable. However, the room was fine and the location was great. But I will look elsewhere before I stay here again.

Miami Beach Good location but worst management 817733409 Location is perfect and the hotel is clean but the reception are unprofessional and not nice, especially Mr.David Garcia is rude that I haven’t seen in my whole life and you can see that I reviewed many hotels and never had such a bad experience. The first floor is ground floor beside the restaurant and so noisy that you can’t sleep. The bathroom door is not closed completely and 20 inches is open and when I told them, they told me it is it’s kind and it is so embarrassing because you are not alone in your room. Hotel doesn’t have any lobby and any luggage room to put your luggage during your checking or checkout that’s difficult when you have a late flight and you don’t have a place to take care of your luggage.

The Marlin Hotel What a Terrific Location, you are right in the heart of South Beach. Reservations were a snap along with a conformation email. As I walked into this magnificent Art Deco Hotel my breath was taken away in awe. The impressive lobby with 15 foot ceilings ordained with intricate detail along with the Staff meeting with a smile and welcoming introduction. I entered the newly renovated suite I had reserved and it was spotless. Linens, mini bar, robes, a room key safe, 55 inch TV, new flooring, 7 foot glass shower door with a rain shower for your pleasure. The room had a comfortable lounge chair accompanied with a cushioned ottoman. My favorite was the comfy throw blanket to curl up in winding down for the day. The breakfast buffet was wonderful along the gourmet dinner meals available. The cleaning staff was patient with me upon my daily departures cleaning wonderfully after I left. Expresso machine was pretty cool too. Never need to look for another hotel on South Beach! Bobby G - Pittsburgh, Pa
