First time ever staying in a hostel. I would definitely stay again. I can say it was very impressive and a great experience. The pool lounge adds to a great relaxing atmosphere. I amazing people there!

The hostel (which is more like a hotel) is everything you need and more (at an amazing value!). Freehand employees were super friendly and helpful upon arrival and accommodated for our needs throughout the week. This included: recommendations; amenities such as beach towels, parasols and even a printer; a storage room for our bags before our check in on the...

Our stay at the Freehand was a little below average. The room was tiny and we were unable to tell from pictures. Breakfast served in a tiny, cramped room and they want you to wash your own dishes. Overall, it was ok, but the loud music and partying until 2:00am got old.

This place was very cool! I love the feel of it. The beds were comfortable, the staff was helpful, and everything seemed clean. The patio was my favorite part. I was able to wake up early enough and take a very short walk to see the sunrise on the beach one morning during my stay. I would return here again...

Flew to Miami on a whim to celebrate my birthday and arrived Sunday, and realized I should find a place to stay. Since I was there to enjoy Life, I decided to stay at the hostel style Freehand Miami. It was a short bus ride from the airport, route #150 cost $2.65. This is a very affordable place. The spot...

I just came home from a 2 weeks stay at Freehand Miami. It was an alright hostel. The rooms were alright, but it was a bit difficult to keep up with the quality, considering we had been in a big 12 man house the previous 12 days with whatever you needed. BUT something else that made the stars fall off...

I have never reviewed a hotel until this experience...I spent a total of $186 to stay in a standard king room my last night in Miami after spending 2 nights at a more expensive hotel (only $50 dollars more a night). I am shocked at how awful the room was for the price. The room is dark and old and...

First of dont worry about clicking coed or all male / female dorms. THEY ARE ALL COED. I ended up being the only chick in my room, no worries for ME I come from all bros family however, that might make others uncomfy... Where you flip flops in the shower of quads, BUT can't bet $25 - $36 for a...

First things first: I loved the stay in this hostel even though there were some downsides. Named they were the sometimes-noisy roommates and the dirty appearing bathrooms. You can’t blame the hostel for their guests, so the first point doesn’t really count. But the staff could actually to a better job in cleaning the bathrooms. The rest of the experience...

I know this is a lower budget hotel/hostel, but I must say we were underwhelmed by our experience this time. We paid $90 per night for a small, private king room. Much dumpier than what they show on their website. Windows were all sealed shut and the drapes were gross. I have uploaded a photo of the drapes, and instead...
