Not very clean and dull atmosphere. Great location for spring break but not what the pictures show at all. The rooms are not sound proof and poor service. There is fresh water offered daily though which is nice after being out in the sun.
Great Hotel ( Art Deco boutique hotel)very convenient to everything In South Beach from the restaurants, clubs, shops including Walgreens etc. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms . Refrigerator and microwave included upon request and availability.
I was looking for a deal in South Beach during peak Miami prices. Essex House is renovated, clean and close to everything. No pool but the beach is a block away. Service was good, quick check in, accommodating, room had updated floors, furniture and renovated bathroom - clean and bright overall. It's worth a stay if you're looking for a good deal. Hotel was overall quiet. No complaints during my stay.
for the money you pay u get a much nicer hotel in the same area.. starting from the staff, not very polite and quite unfriendly, the front dest guy seemed to be too busy playing computer games rather than helping customers out.. never have i ever stayed in the room with such dirty floors. im from europe so wearing shoes on the inside is not a thing im used to , i mean you could atleast vacuum the floors from time to time? not once in our 5 days were the floors cleaned or vacuumed.. there was no hot water from the tap.so washing your face with cold water was fun. shower products were "rituals" bottles filled with god knows what..i was looking forward to taking a bath but there were no bath plug.. so bring your own. the walls are paper thin.. and paying 35 dollars daily for the resort fee .. for pretty much just a towel.. when we booked we were told we get a free drink and there will be coffee and a pastries in the morning.. none of that. atlest the front desk guy didnt say anything about that.. room cleaning.. as in somebody who makes your bed and thats all.. that was done like after 3 pm.. or some days they didnt clean the room at all... overall very unpleasant and unfriendly place to visit..…
Clean, great location, friendly staff! Only a few blocks from the ocean, dining for blocks and blocks, and super affordable Uber in all around the area from this location. We definitely stay here again or their sister hotel next-door.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! My credit card was double charged and I've now emailed 2x and called 3x and I'm just told to try back and see if a manager is there. They don't give you a print out when you leave either. No one seems to care at the front desk. Hotel was pretty meh too.
The rooms was clean, shower hot, wood floors in room, staff were nice! Didn’t get pics of the room! Free complimentary frozen drinks on arrival! The bacon bitch restaurant next door has great food! The elevator was a lil small only fits like 3 people! Thanks for everything
Customer service and cleanliness of the facility is top-notch. I recommend anybody stay there-great location in south beach. And the early desk clerk, Carl, was a great help. I needed some flexibility with my accommodations and he came through huge with great customer service and solutions. Good trip made better by Essex (and Carl)
Amazing Great service , from the moment you walked in .The aroma in the air is so inviting ,to the-refreshing lemon water jug . I’m simple girl who likes small details . Joel otero guest service manger who is excellent if you haven’t had the pleasure in meeting him , with his high demanding role , still has treated us like we were the most important guests here do thank you Joel ⭐️ also Beauce,G you made my trip the BEST always smiling welcoming us in and out to giving us directions you are a wonderful service to the industry . You two are the reason Essex is our new home away from home . Thank you everything was amazing . Thank you for explaining everything we need to know ,all you gotta do is ask 😁thank you guys so much
No cream and coffee in the room ? It’s here the coffee machine how there’s no extra coffee or cream ?? The front desk no no we don’t have any. Bad experience never again at this hotel it’s just simple to make your guests happy
