I booked the suite for my bachelorette party and the management was nasty. I've never dealt with more rude and unprofessional people in my life. On Thursday night, around midnight, my friends and I got a noise complaint. Fine, totally understandable. I understood it was still a week night and other guests had to be up early the next morning. The gentleman who worked there was very nice and told me to lower the volume that night, but during the day and weekend should be no problem. Fast forward to Friday morning. It's 11:00 am. 11:00 AM!!! No offense, but if you're still sleeping at 11:00 am that's not my problem. Three of my friends and I are getting dressed, playing music and getting ready for the day. We get a knock on the door to lower the music. Okay, no problem. We shut the music. Clearly this is a hotel for duds. Security is STANDING OUTSIDE OUR ROOM-again, they knock and tell us to lower the volume. I calmly explain that there's no music, we're just talking. They didn't care. After telling us to lower the volume three times- mind you, it was just 4 girls TALKING (girls can be loud, get the hell over it), they kicked us out of the hotel. The best part is that the (annoying AF) couple who complained about the noise LEFT THE HOTEL THAT MORNING. The security manager was the biggest ahole-he didn't even care to hear us out or reason with us. Someone clearly had a huge stick up their ass. This place is not for anyone who is looking to have a fun weekend. If you're going for business, don't be a dick who complains about noise. Just suck it up or go to the conference room. Don't ruin someone elses weekend just because you're a miserable ahole.…
I will never stay anywhere else in Brickell. Incredible value, comfortable rooms, and amazing staff. Carolina, Katherine, and Christian all positively influenced my busy-but-relaxing birthday weekend stay. From the general welcoming nature*, to accommodating a highly unusual request, to reuniting me with my precious belongings left behind in the safe... I always felt like a valued guest. The location is also perfect for me: central but quiet. As a 9-year resident of Brickell, being right on the (future) Underline, and being a 2-block walk to everything is ideal. There was even adequate street parking (but the secure parking was cheaper!). Also, very rigorous COVID-19 precautions are in place, without being an inconvenience. * sometimes in Miami I think: "are you really happy to see me?", but at the Novotel I really believe they were!…
The service was AWFUL and beyond slow. We booked 4 rooms including a suite and were treated TERRIBLY. We booked this hotel for my friends bachelorette party. While chatting together in the living room of the suite we were attacked with banging on the door because we were talking too "loudly"at 11:45 am. Instead of asking us to lower the volume they kicked us out of all 4 rooms leaving us scrambling to find a new hotel. The general manager and all staff on duty that day (Friday, May 20) were so beyond unprofessional. If you're thinking of going to Brickell DO NOT STAY HERE. STAY AT THE EPIC HOTEL BECAUSE THEY TREAT THEIR GUEST LIKE ROYALTY.
I rarely write reviews for hotels but I felt that I must for Novotel in Brickell. First off, the location is unbeatable. It is very close to all the restaurants and stores, but a couple blocks out of the busy streets. Therefore, the area was quiet and not loud at all. The hotel had good amenities as well - rooftop pool, gym, restaurant/bar Secondly, the staff were ALL AMAZING. From housekeeping, to concierge, to front desk. Everyone had a great attitude and made our stay very enjoyable. For one of my reservations, there was a slight issue on the back end in terms of booking (I admittedly used a new 3rd party website). This was mainly a problem with the 3rd party vendor. However, the receptionist/front desk attendant was very nice about it - she told me not to worry and that she would handle it while I was enjoying my day at the Miami GP. I wish I caught her name so I could give her a huge shoutout but she truly allowed my day to not be stressful. I would 100% come back and stay at this hotel again when I am in Miami. I'm not sure there is a better way to do Miami! Thank you everyone at Novotel!!…
I would like to thanks you all F&B team when we having our lunch at tempo restaurant. Especially Jayce and Jack. They are so attentive to us. Also friendly. They provide everything we request. Thanks to those guys and the whole team.
The location of the property is what made it so nice for us. Very walkable to all things Brickell. Lobby, room and rooftop were nice. The pool could have been a little larger as sometimes it filled up with people. Overall, great experience
I rarely can rate a hotel a five star but Novotel in Brickell certainly deserves it. Firstly, the staff was excellent, they were very kind and even made sure to hold the door upon arrival. Next the cleanliness and room in general were both amazing! The room was tastefully designed and welcoming. It also had great AC and the water was hot. The location of this hotel is pretty good, close to nearly everything. The best part of this place is the roof top pool, mean it’s was amazing. The pool was warm, and very clean. The views were awesome and hotel bar by pool was very nice too. I would certainly stay here again!
Very nice place to stay. It’s just minutes away walking to grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, restaurants, metro mover station. The hotel is very comfortable, clean with a nice restaurant to have breakfast. Excellent option if you need to stick around Brickell.
Thanks to Magdalena Ferguson for her wonderful hospitality and service at Novotel. She treats us like royalty whenever we are in town and makes the best iced cappuccinos! We had a great time and the stay was awesome.
While attending a meeting in Miami, our group was booked into the Novotel. Having never stayed in one before, we were hesitant. We arrived early afternoon and, if we didn’t mind a lower floor room, were able to check in immediately. The hotel is well located with great restaurants within easy, safe walking distance. The rooms were quite nice. Event the light rail service across the street was hardly audible. The shower faucet was tricky at first. The automobile entrance and parking is quite tight but secure. The lobby bar does not have great appeal. We didn’t eat in the on site restaurant. The fitness room was nice and the rooftop pool, though small, had a variety of seating, in the sun and shade, and a great bartender. She was quite busy with a good amount of the seating taken, but orders were prompt and food delivered poolside quickly. We enjoyed our stay and several of the staff members went beyond their duty in assisting us, from front desk to house men. A well run hotel.…
