Spent one night here on March 9. The hotel is a bit rundown and the rooms seem to be configured as extended stay suites than as a normal hotel experience. The WiFi reception is extremely spotty, and getting online requires an annoying two-step process. There is a restaurant on the property which we were told was open until 9pm, but closed at 8pm. For breakfast the following morning, the place was completely empty so we went elsewhere. The Mutiny may have been goodie its day, but it's in need of a major upgrade. Would not recommend staying there until it's revamped.
This is not an hotel. They don't make your bed or clean your room. They have a franchised bar/restaurant that is only open on some days. There is no lounge or lounge service. In fact there is no guest service at all. Grossly overpriced. Avoid at all costs
This place is dingy, dirty, and overpriced. The air conditioners are louder than a propeller plane. The gym had towels strewn everywhere with no new ones to use and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in days. It needs a refresh and new management. Thanks!
We were very pleased with this choice for a 4-night stay in Miami. The location was excellent with the marina across the road and lots of restaurants nearby. Our one-bedroom suite seemed to have been recently renovated and everything was in perfect condition and all immaculate. The kitchenette was well equipped and we regretted not staying longer to take advantage of it. We knew in advance that we were going to be low down in the building but I would advise anyone booking to opt for a higher level as the view would be great. Again we knew in advance that there was no daily housekeeping and that was not a problem. Our only negative comment is that we were at the hotel over a busy weekend and there were a number of events and also the restaurant was closed for breakfast on a couple of days.…
We stayed for two weeks this January in a nice little one bedroom apartment with kitchenette that we generally enjoyed a lot. The view was great. We would be going back every year since we have family there except that there was one huge problem. The Wi-Fi did not work. It wasn’t just slow and it constantly kept cutting in and out and not working. I talked to 4-5 people including their tech support and nothing worked to fix the problem. I heard when we were checking out that some rooms are better than others. This doesn’t help as we would never know if wi-fi is ok when reserving. You need to fix the Wi-Fi and if you do you’ll have a great property.
Wonderful hotel in coconut grove with spectacular views of the marina and Miami. Steps away from everything. We love the 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with a large balcony for the family. There’s also a lovely pool area with a resident iguana. Staff very friendly and efficient.
What a wonderful experience. I stayed at this hotel for Art Basel and it was a pleasure! The location of this hotel is perfect! I was able to get into Downtown & Miami Beach with ease. Isaura Parra was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable of the community, she's a fabulous employee! The restaurant and bar downstairs was quaint and the pool was nice to relax by. My room was cleaned appropriately and I always felt safe in the hotel. I highly suggest this hotel and plan to stay again in the future!
We stayed in a deluxe one bedroom suite as a family (our children slept on the sofa bed). Our suite was located at the front of the property on an upper level, so the view was excellent. Unfortunately the actual rooms and facilities are tired and ready to be refurbished. The location is probably the main selling point of The Mutiny. It's a very short walk to the town centre, and we spent a bit of time at Peacock Park which has a playground for kids and a great little restaurant called Glass and Vino.
We have stayed multiple times, the best rooms are located poolside. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room this time was dated and needed a bit of maintenance but was acceptable. The pool area was to die for! Beautiful waterfall and such a serene experience. The ambience from all the lighting is NEXT LEVEL! Table 14 the bar and restaurant was remodeled since my last stay over 4 years ago and it is beautifully done. The food was excellent! We ate breakfast and dinner and they didn't disappoint. The server, owner and the executive chef were all so polite and provided great service for this family-owned bar. For breakfast we had the creamy truffle eggs and I must say just wow! it was just as it was explained it to me. We also had the Cuban and the American diplomat breakfast, yummy. At dinner we had the JC Burger, Escargots and the Churrasco style steak. I like my meats cooked rare- and it was on point! The burger was juicy and very tasty as well. The escargots were large and the wine butter sauce was delicious. We had a few drinks and they were strong pours. I do wish Table 14 the very best.…
This hotel was nice, great views of the water, withing walking distance to wonderful restaurants, and shopping. They do have an in-house restaurant and bar with a very limited menu. The rooms were nice with the exception of the bathroom, there is absolutely NO counter space in the bathroom. There was literally a small 3 shelf stand-alone across from the toilet that I had to pull next to the sink to put my makeup on, to get ready. The headboard fell off of the wall in the middle of the night during a tropical storm scaring my husband and I, and the staff was in no hurry to send anyone to look at it.
