The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was great, the parking was secure. The basics were excellent. The shuttle was really accommodating and the staff was super helpful in dealing with my 80's in-laws. What was really great is how they went out of their way to make up for enterprise totally messing up our reservations. Thanks for your help - one of the best staffs I have dealt with and I travel for business - over 100 nights per year in motels. Thanks again.
Stayed here for one night as we were flying out on a late flight. Check-in was great we were able to get the room at 10am. Beds were very comfortable which were great. Very very close to the airport so you can hear the planes take off in the room. Small shop downstairs and one next door. they do a free shuttle to the airport but the woman driving the bus was miserable and had attitude so we told her we would just get a taxi. Would stay here again if leaving on a late flight as location to the airport is fantastic.
This was our second time staying at this hotel prior to a cruise. Once again we were very pleased with our experience. The rooms have been recently redone and we found the new look very nice. Comfortable bed and bedding, good water pressure with hot water for our shower. Breakfast with lots of options. Parking lot is not secured but both times our car was safely waiting for us on return. Shuttle service to the port was prompt. Taxi back to the hotel was $50 which included the tip. The hotel is approximately 20-30 minutes from the port. There are restaurants within walking distance. City Place is an outdoor entertainment comp!ex approximately 1 block from the hotel which has several excellent restaurant choices, bars, ice cream, coffee shops, a movie theater and outdoor entertainment. This hotel is a great budget choice if you are looking for a cruise package that includes !odging, parking and transportation to the port.…
The room had a bad smell of damp and mould when I entered. I immediately asked if I could move rooms but was told that there wasn't another one available so I asked for a refund so I could find another hotel. The front desk supervisor declined my request and having paid over $300 for the room (it was superbowl weekend) I couldn't afford to pay another $300 for a room in a different hotel so I was effectively forced to stay in the room. The reservation was through booking.com who also refused to refund the stay at that point. The next day booking.com called and offered my a 50% refund as they discovered they had had 6 other complaints regarding damp for the hotel and the hotel agreed to cancel the second night of my reservation. I asked the hotel for a full refund but the general manger refused. Very disappointing having to pay $170 for a room with a damp issue. Additionally, it turns out that the front desk agent when I checked in had told the manager that I initially called down to move rooms because I didnt like the room type which was untrue. The issue was the stench of damp and mould as soon as you opened the door.…
Very close to Airport and convenience location. Very expected of a Holiday Inn Express, however breakfast was better than other Holidays Inn Express I have stayed. Staff was great and fast check in and out. I will return to this hotel if I have to. Rooms require a slight update (mostly, decor, bathroom and furniture), Bed was great as usual.
