We usually stay here for 1 night after arriving from London before driving to Marco Island the next day. The rooms are large and very comfortable and ours had a good view over the lagoon. Breakfast is good with plenty of options, the only downside is that the omelette station is not open Monday to Thursday. An ideal stopover hotel. Much better than usual, airport hotel.
Hotel is close to the airport and has a good shuttle service. Further it has several (coffee) shops and bars where you get a snack or meal. Swimming pool as well and quality of rooms is up to Hilton best standards.
Honest review Positives Really kind friendly staff Great cocktails at pool bar Location Clean public restrooms Negatives This hotel was probably fantastic 20 years ago but it looks beyond tired. Threadbare carpets Creased broken lampshades Tired worn furniture Filthy room doors Grubby walls Trip hazard carpet joins in hallway. Free soda refills at pool bar but tasted off Could not believe it’s a Hilton. My 7 year old didn’t want to take her shoes off.
My oh my....what a grand time was had by my wife and I. Iguanas, the place where Tony Montana was nearly shot, super bitchen pool, big and quiet room, great food, and two of the best ambassadors of some of the most incredible customer service that I have experienced in my lifetime. Hillary in the bar/restaurant was exactly what any person that dines out wants to have taking care of them. Theodore at the Hertz desk personally has made me look away from Enterprise rental car and start up with Hertz. Mr. Gogas was nice, accommodating, professional and best of all, he anticipated my needs and directed me to make my car rental experience so very much better than I had anticipated. Try a stay at the Hilton at Miami airport Blue lagoon. While you're there enjoy the dining experience with Hillary and if you find yourself in need of a vehicle go ask for theodore, both of those individuals are some of the best I've ever experienced in 58 years.…
We stayed at the Hilton Blue Lagoon April 30 - May1st 2022. Overall the hotel was good. They managed to keep the huge main lobby and hallway on our floor nice and cool. Our room not so much. Service at the pool bar was good. Not sure if we would stay again.
We were planning to arrive late at night the day of check in, so we called the hotel that afternoon to inform them and to ensure they did not give our room away. The person we spoke to on the phone said we were pre-checked in and were given a free room upgrade. Great! We arrived around 9:30PM and there was NO PARKING anywhere. Cars were illegally parked on the curb, in the grass, double and triple parked in the loading dock. Never seen anything like it, anywhere. Upon check in we were told it was due to a concert and they were allowing the concert goers to use the hotel guest parking and still had the nerve to charge us $25 for parking when I didn't even have parking spot to park in. Next, we were told there was no record of our reservation. After providing the confirmation number the front desk associate went to the back office and "created" a reservation for us, nevermind what we were told when we called earlier to ensure what just happened would not happen. In our room the sink drain plug was stuck in the down position and the sink would not drain. Our room phone also did not work, so I had to go back down to the lobby to complain. To the credit of the manager Emily, she let me unload on her and refunded the parking charge and eventually, after a second request finally sent someone up to our room to at least remove our sink drain plug so we could use the sink and go to bed. Fortunately the hotel honored our reservation and did not refuse us a room as our flight was in 9 hours from the time we arrived and trying to locate another property would have been an even worse nightmare.…
My sister booked two rooms for four nights with a Balcony and certain types of beds. Fronk desk person said she did have any. Front desk person just said not her fault Room was supposed to be clean and ready; not! Room smelled like a roach coach hotel. My advice, do not book here!
Stayed here for one night before flying home to the UK. The hotel itself is pretty large although clean and comfortable. Surprisingly the best of 3 hotels during our stay (Intercontinental Miami & Kimpton Surfcomber) and only a fraction of the price of the other 2. Pool area OK but needs a little modernisation. reception area large with plenty of seats to lounge around in. There is nothing much around the hotel if you like to wander so in reality you are kind of tied to it unless you take a taxi out. Its essentially a one-night stopping off point. The room was large, clean and comfortable. No problems to talk about. food in the bar restaurant area was so-so, nothing special but OK. checking out was fine with no hitches. Shuttle bus to the airport was on time with a friendly driver. Miami airport itself is a disaster for checking in and security and I never want to fly out of there again, but if I had to and needed a hotel to stay that's close by, the Hilton would certainly be considered.…
We were late getting checked into our room after a long flight and waiting for aprox 3 hours in the lobby. The facilites need major updating! Rooms/furniture are very old and outdated. Location is awesome though and pool area is very nice with great view!
Forget “early check in’s” not even possible, at 4pm the lobby and pool area is littered with people just trying to get regular check ins. Don’t book this place if you’re catching early flights, they will not work with you, despite claiming on their site to have early check in for a fee. I called, I tried it was not possible. Massive inconvenience and no one cared. Just as they didn’t care for the dozens of others roaming around hoping to get into the room they booked.
