I stayed here for a few nights for a work trip. The service was not as good as I remember from the last time I was here years ago. There is no room service, at any hour, which I found a little strange for such a "nice hotel." Furthermore, there was some kind of construction going on at the hotel and it was so incredibly noisy in my room starting at 9am that I had to leave to take a phone call elsewhere. Not sure what is going on, the hotel still appears clean and nice, but the service leaves something to be desired.
I recently stayed at the InterContinental Miami for a conference. Everything was perfect! The rooms were amazing! The staff was beyond responsive! Both restaurants on-site were amazing! I ate at each every day. However, the Ole Restaurant for breakfast managed by Sagrario Newman is out of this world. She went over and above to provide for the best experience. The other restaurant, Toro's staff, was also OVER THE TOP! Everything about the facility was perfect! Can't say enough good things!
Victor was absolutely phenomenal!!!! He made us fill like we were queens of the day. Customer service was outstanding and his energy was fun and inviting. We will Definitely come back to see him!!! Victor ROCKS!!! The rooms are amazing! The ocean view was beautiful. There is nothing better than coming to a place that you feel at home with and is clean and welcoming! My husband and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary and I am glad we picked here!
Massage by Claudia was perfect. Very knowledgeable and absolutely professional. I’ve often used massage resources after long trips. Ask for Claudia; you won’t be disappointed. Most travelers will travel over 1000 miles to visit Miami. Regardless of how you get there, you are compelled to remain in an awkward position for protracted time periods. An 80 minute massage after being in a car or plane enables you to apply your creative abilities to the underlying understanding of your work. Oh, and it will increase range of motion and mobility, and thus it’s deductible.
We came to Miami for my husband's work conference. The lobby is beautiful and unique. The room was pretty spacious, and we had a gorgeous view of the bay. The gym and pool were also very nice with beautiful views. We got housekeeping, which lately I've noticed many hotels stop doing that daily. My one complaint is the elevators. We sometimes had to wait 10 minutes and the stairs were not easily accessible. They need to add more elevators, especially during a conference.
The hotel had a great vibe! We had a nice suite on the 32nd floor. We went to have fun because my husband was having surgery the following week. We arrived and Henroy was so kind and accommodating. He gave us suggestions of places to go and things to do. Mario was another good source to guide you on your way! The lobby bar is the best seat in town! Victor is a pleasure to have as a bartender. Choose your passion or let him pour you something special! Great conversation with what felt like an old friend. We enjoyed our time and will always go back!
Please visit Victor in the Torotoro restaurant. He was OUTSTANDING. His customer service is superb. I would recommend the food the music and the atmosphere to anyone who visits Miami. I celebrated my wife's Birthday there and it was fantastic.
The view is amazing. The common areas are beautiful. But the room itself is not a place I’d like to spend any amount of time in. The lock on the door is flimsy, the furniture seems mismatched, the toilet seat doesn’t fit right, and overall the room doesn’t feel clean. I was hoping to do some work in the room on this trip but I’ll need to find some place else to do that. We raised our concerns with the front desk but they appeared unconcerned and told us the only other room available would be a downgrade. This is not generally the service I expect from a hotel that describes itself as “luxury” hotel.
Two night business trip for a conference on the property. Staff was excellent, welcoming and very helpful as I arrived mid-morning with work to do. My room was well appointed, with a nice view of the port and Miami Beach. Great bed with solid pillows, too! Had two peaceful nights sleep. Food for the conference was delicious.
I work in the area and sometimes after a long day it’s nice to unwind with some food and drink before heading home. While downtown Miami has many places to offer, for me, the bar at Toro Toro is an exceptional place to go specifically because of one man. Victor, the bartender at Toro Toro is amazing. As long as he works there, it’s my go-to place. One of the best bartenders South Florida has to offer, he always welcomes you with a giant smile and his service is top-notch. Not enough praise for this man—if you’re in the area, definitely visit and see for yourself. Cheers!
