I made reservations for 3 rooms the on December 30th via booking.com we recently lost my father to cancer so as a surprise I wanted to treat my mom and sisters to a lovely stay at the Conrad. Check-in for December 31st was at 3pm EST and we arrived at 4:30pm EST. No one contacted us regarding no rooms being available. I spoke with the manager there I believe his name is Brian and he showed zero compassion and lack of empathy. Our luggage was left in the hallway until my sister asked for it kindly to be put away. We were given $150 for drinks and were not able to get into our room until after 8pm on NYE!! Throughout the duration of our stay we asked for our rooms to be cleaned daily and that never happened. It was the most miserable and horrible experience. Such an embarrassment to the Hilton and Conrad and I am regretful I booked at this hotel. I will never book here again, such a bad taste in our mouth and being that the manager at this location works in hospitality and showed zero remorse and didn’t even try to accommodate or let alone apologize is appalling!…
This hotel was located brickell Ave, close to metrorail and metromover station Brickell which can connect to bay front park, Miami International airport. Upgrade to a bay view room which provides a stunning view. During COVID-19, they do not provide breakfast option for Hilton Diamond members. Pool, gym, and tennis court were fantastic. Restaurant was open from 5 pm to 10 pm. The balcony next to restaurant and lobby was a good place to take photos.
Pathetic experience. Should have read the other reviews. Abandoned lobby. Restaurants closed. No diamond upgrade. Coffee service in lobby closed due to malfunction. Super no frills and a huge disappointment.
When comparing this Conrad experience with previous ones in Istanbul, Cairo, Brussels, this Conrad property seems like a bad joke. As a Diamond Hilton Honors, I only got two little bottles of water handed to me by the front desk lady. I was not offered the WiFi service even though I was entitled to it. No room upgrade even with a reservation booked months before. The room was small and pathetically unimpressive. No minibar, just a sad empty little fridge. Apparently, you have to buy the minibar items at the front desk, and carry it to your room, which defies the very purpose of an in-room minibar. No coffee machine or tea kettle, a great inconvenience aggravated by the fact that the restaurant only serves dinner. So, in order to get your morning coffee, not only you have to leave your room, but also the hotel. I've stayed in not so fancy or expensive hotels all over the world and they all have in-room coffee, tea, and a minibar. It's a Conrad, at over $500 a night and no slippers and no bathrobes. After several attempts, I couldn't get the room phone to work. The terrace or balcony of the restaurant, its highest offering has no lights. Excellent view of Biscayne Bay but you have to sit in complete darkness. Everything was so disappointing that it's still hard for me to believe that this is a Hilton (Conrad) facility.…
Last time I came to Miami, I stayed in 8 Hiltons in 9 days and the Conrad Miami stood out as a favorite. This is my 2nd visit to this property, so my expectations were high even with Covid restrictions in place. We stayed in Room 2021 which is a fairly standard room with 2 Queen beds and a view of the bay. There was a nice table with 2 chairs, perfect for eating or working. The lighting in this room was not as bright as I needed to work but rather was more decorative lighting giving the room a nice glow and great ambiance. On my last visit, we actually stayed right next door in Room 2020 with a King bed and a view of the bay. I am not sure if it had a sofa sleeper in 2020. On this visit, I needed a second room for a friend. They gave us Room 2025, a corner room with a view and a King bed. It wasn’t a big room, so no sofa sleeper, but the bathroom was massive with full windows and gorgeous views. The lighting in this room seemed better with lots of natural light in addition regular lighting. At first I must confess; I was disappointed that nearly all amenities everyone expects in a Conrad Miami were gone. When I expressed my disappointment with the staff and management, I was pleased when they said they wanted to keep the rooms as clean as possible and all we needed to do was ask and the items we missed or needed would be delivered to our room. During times like this it is difficult to control many things that we were used to or expected in the past, but one thing that can be controlled is Customer Service. Hands down the staff at the Conrad Miami has this dialed in. They went out of their way to make not only our stay lovely but others as well. Every staff person we encountered were kind, friendly, very helpful and seemed genuinely happy to have guests at their hotel. Some take aways regarding a visit during COVID: At this property the pool and pool bar were open daily as well as the fitness center. The restaurant & bar were open on the weekends with some seating, but you can also take food to your room or have it delivered to the room. Lots of the area restaurants also deliver if you are there during the week using a delivery service like GrubHub or UberEats. Since there is not Valet, you can have In and Out privileges and access your car easily which we found super convenient. The parking fee is also reduced from what would be charged if the Valet service was available. The crowds seemed much less than usual, not just at the Conrad Miami, but also throughout Miami which was a nice bonus. When you make a reservation, the Conrad Miami will send an email with the latest information on changes and restrictions due to Covid (see below). This may and probably will change as time goes on, so check with the hotel for the most current information. We are currently offering Indoor/Outdoor dining, Room Delivery and takeout. Please keep in mind that breakfast is not currently available at our property. Therefore, as a Diamond member you will be extended double MY WAY BONUS points. Our pool is open from 7A-5P daily. The Sky Pool Bar is open daily from 11:30A-6P. You may park in any spot that says valet only and keep your white ticket with you to get validated at the Front Desk for complimentary in and out privileges.
